5 out of 5 eggsSolid Card

Pros: Solid card. Haven't had any physical issues or defects with it. Fits nicely in my ATX Mid-Tower. Doesn't feel flimsy. Still running after 5 years. Doesn't overheat. Single fan card is not a power hog.

Cons: Experience driver issues from time to time. Keep your drivers updated. After 5 years the dust is starting to get clogged even with regular cleaning. The fan faces down in the case so its difficult to access for cleaning. Power connector sticks out the side towards the case panel so it's a little awkward to fit it in the case.

Other Thoughts: Was a good buy 5 years ago when I purchased it and has held me through until now when its time to start looking for an upgrade.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card, having fan issues though.

Pros: Good card for what you are paying for. Effortlessly runs most games that I throw at it, including Skyrim on high settings. Doesn't seem to run very hot, either.

Cons: I bought the card almost a year ago now, to throw into a low-end gaming rig that I was building at the time. The whole rig, including the card, ran great until about a month ago, when a really loud fan noise started coming from the computer. I just replaced the case fans about two months ago, and they are high end case fans, so I was almost positive that they weren't the problem. Just to make sure, after killing the power on the case fans and the CPU fan, I determined that it was the fan on this card. After surfing numerous forums, I arrived at the conclusion that it is most likely bad fan bearings, which you really can't access to apply machine grease without screwing the card up.

Other Thoughts: After reading some of the horror stories about HIS customer support, I don't think I am going to bother with that. I will gladly put up with the jet engine-esque noise coming from the unit, but now, less than a year later, I am going on the market for another card. I docked two eggs for this, but added one back on because of the price.

4 out of 5 eggsShader Problem

Pros: Good card

Cons: Shaders being reported incorrectly.

Other Thoughts: I tried to run the new Microsoft Flight today and it says I do not meet the minimum requirements for a Video Card which is 3 shaders, and this card should have 4 or 5.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good for the price

Pros: Very good card, it usually chills at 41C with about 30% fan speed, Rips up any game that i've tried, without a problem. I don't even need to crossfire this card, not until starcraft 4 comes out.

Cons: ATI drivers are kinda horrible, was getting static audio when using hdmi out, but only on one tv, so i'm pretty sure that it was the tv causing the audio distortion.

Other Thoughts: Very good, very happy with my purchase

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fantastic card, run's at a very reasonable temperature even with multiple games running. You can not hear the fan unless it's over 50% speed, aswell.

It came down to bang for the buck and this 5770 IceQ fit the bill for what I needed.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: First Radeon I've owned, I like it.
First card I've had that exhausts out the back of the case, I like that too.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs better than i could have dreamed! looks sweet, takes ANY GAME i throw at it. i run starcraft 2 on ultra without a hint of problem. i ran crysis without any problems on maxed settings.
installed easy and like a charm. =D

Cons: after i installed the card my onboard sound went out when using DVI, so i had to switch to HDMI which wasn't really a problem cause that fixed it.
the control panel for this card is alittle weird and took me a few minutes to figure it out.

Other Thoughts: please dont read those bad reviews from UNVERIFIED BUYERs, you never know if they BSing you or not. my card works PERFECTLY! it made me nervous after buying the card, looking at those bad reviews, but after i got it, im glad i bought it.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive

Pros: I had a nVidia card before this, but after a driver update that fried my card, I decided to try out ATI. A great choice. This card will more than justify the next video card purchase I make from ATI. It plays StarCraft II on the highest settings with only minor problems on the large custom games, it has also significantly increased my video settings on World of Warcraft.

Cons: I don't want to say that this card seems too pricey per say, but with the rebate its still a little above the competitors. In my opinion, its worth the solid cooling they have on this card.

Other Thoughts: Great card and the drivers so far haven't slowed the fan speeds, much less slow them to the point of critically overheating the GPU (like my old nVidia did).

5 out of 5 eggsRe: Great Product Marred By Bad Customer Service

Pros: Update: The previous posted titled "Great Product Marred By Bad Customer Service" was mine. I emailed the company and their rebate services provider, and they were prompt in dealing with the issue. Apparently it was a mailing problem but who knows?

Cons: Price hasn't gone down as much as the competitor's prices.

Other Thoughts: Despite being in the middle of the pack in terms of 5770 prices it runs cool even when overclocked further than the stock Turbo settings. I will be purchasing another one to Crossfire as these cards are amazing in price:value ratio.

3 out of 5 eggs7.1 audio

Pros: Great picture. Good performance. I'm a media center guy, not a gamer.

Cons: 7.1 HDMI audio has a driver issue of some sort, because it doesn't work with WMC TV. Works OK with WMP. One card I've owned for several months, and it used to produce great 7.1 HDMI audio with 24-bit decoding. Now it doesn't with 7.1 or 5.1. Works OK when I use control panel to configure it as stereo audio.

Other Thoughts: I have 2 of these guys in two Windows Media Center PCs, both with Asus motherboards, 4GB RAM, 3.0 GHz processors, Yamaha 7.1 receivers. One has a 4x processor and the other has a 6x processor. I have spent many, many hours on this problem; tried the latest ATI video drivers from ATI and HIS websites, tried older drivers, etc. Playing a recorded TV program in 7.1 gives no audio and then after a few seconds WMC displays a "Video driver ..." error message. I use control panel to reconfigure audio as 2 channel stereo (any bit rate), and WMC TV works OK. Reconfigure again to 7.1 audio, and problem returns. Tried rebooting between audio reconfigurations with no effect.
