5 out of 5 eggsThree monitors

Pros: To use three monitors, once must be native display port. I have one monitor on SVGA, one using DVI and the third, native display port. Adapters did not work when using three monitors on the one card. Once I figured that out, I was golden! Have several cards setup in the office. Users have reported zero issues.

Cons: None yet

3 out of 5 eggsDidn't last long...

Pros: Video quality is good
Audio quality is good
Easy to install

Cons: Only lasted six months.

Other Thoughts: This computer is used for work: image editing and web design for the most part. No gaming. So the video card is not stressed. I expected the card to last more than six months.

5 out of 5 eggsBUY IT... Don't think on it. Just get it!

Pros: It works. Great way to upgrade an oder PC without having to give up and sink $$ into getting a new one!

Cons: None that I have experienced. I don't know what most of the negative reviews were about.. my experience has been JUST FINE.
Card came in HIS brand BOX new & sealed.
HD slot seems not to fit my cable just right.. but I dont mind 'cause I use my VGA port anyway (I prefer it.)
Other than that.. performance has been FINE.
Solid card.

Other Thoughts: Ok, so after having bought the Zotac Card and SENT IT BACK for compatibility issues... I was left with a few options. Most affordably being this HIS Card.
Bought it and I must say it was a great buy.
I used the install disc and everything has been smooth sailing!
If you want to upgrade your older pc ( I have a compaq CQ5700F, purchased in 2011) this is a GREAT way to upgrade your graphics without breaking your budget.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for old systems like Dell E310

Pros: It works for a month already without any problems in older Dell E310 with Windows 7. This system got a new era after upgrading to windows 7 with a new video card. Display port / HDMI always is a plus.

Cons: None so far

4 out of 5 eggsBig Improvement

Pros: Huge improvements in the widows experience index: graphics went from 1.0 to 4.1. Gaming graphics went from 1.0 to 5.8. Watching Hulu is also improved, but it is still a little choppy. For some reason my newer laptop plays Hulu videos better. My screen resolution has not changed nor can it go any higher.
As for games I have freelancer, it moves more smoothly, not much of an improvement.

Cons: Age of empires and Age of Empires II both don't work! That was my favorite game. Not happy at all. Old games but classics.
Installing the Catalyst software was a real pain.
There is an upgrade to the software both were a pain to install. I had to do it a couple of times. It takes about 20 minutes. After the second or third time the catalyst software would not even start. Then I noticed that there was an icon in the system tray. When I click on that it was working.
I put the link above because I was under the impression that I was getting a gpu with a cclock rate of 650 MHz. I discovered that the clock varies and is adjustable. I was also under the impression that the memory clock was supposed to be 1000MHz. Under the specifications it says "Memory

Effective Memory Clock
1000MHz " But when I get into the software the clock can be adjusted to 900MHz.
The first time I made adjustments it crashed my computer, BSOD.
Biggest con is that I hav3e a Dell E310. It came with a 230 Watt power supply. Researching the Internet I found that Dell changes the pinouts on the motherboard connector. I got lucky and found one for Dell computers that fit the 400 Watt requirement for the card, but that is an extra $35.

Other Thoughts: Can't think of any right now. Not sure overall how I feel about this purchase. I am glad I did buy it because the 8 MB Intel video chip was getting to me. I could not play freecell? The desktop also has some improved appearance.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: I needed an X1 card and this one had good reviews. I installed it in a Ubuntu Linux system and added the fglrx driver for it. It runs great although I don't have a lot of time with it yet--so far so good. Video is very responsive and super crisp. I am running OpenGL 3D acceleration just fine with it. I am using it with xbmc media player software and it really rocks on the video performance.

The build-in Intel graphics that I had on my motherboard basically sucked. This card gave my system the video performance it needed for Linux and xbmc.

Cons: No cons, it is working perfectly.

Other Thoughts: I wanted a passive cooling card that would fit in an X1 slot that provided an exceptional graphics experience. This one can fit in any PCI Express slot. X16, X8, X4, and X1. It performs very well.

5 out of 5 eggsMines BitCoin at 13 Mhps

Pros: I got this card to run 3 monitors off a PCI-E x 1 slot and it does this well. Also can Mine Bitcoin at 13 Mhps. I just use it for regular 2D desktop graphics, nothing 3D based.

Cons: Always use the latest drivers for the ATI website., Else out put can be finicky

Other Thoughts: I didn't buy it to mine bitcoin, but just wanted to share my results. Using Bitminter, it mines bitcoin at 13.15 Mhps, and uses about 10 addittional watts when mining.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine for 2 monitors

Pros: Fit my Dell lo profile Optiplex 745 fine. I split the DVI into 2 VGAs and I get high resolution on both monitors. I can't remember what it was because I installed Windows Server 2012, and it has no drivers.

Cons: I'm getting some static noise on one of the monitors now, and I installed a Catalyst driver for it. It may be the used ViewSonic flatscreen going out, or that Catalyst on Windows Server 2012 doesn't work great. Too many variables.

Other Thoughts: If I need another, I'll go cheaper. For servers there's a need (for me) to have at least two screens, but they don't have to be great.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great, but little slow

Pros: Fan-less and only needs a PCI Express x1 slot.

Cons: Annoying installation.

Other Thoughts: It does work as a second video card to drive additional monitors, at least it worked with my ATI Radeon HD 5400 card. However, it's slower than the video card in the PCI Express x16 slot, which is sad, but understandable. The display attached to this card lags way behind when scrolling documents.

It's not plug and play, you MUST run the installer on the included CD. And the installation is ridiculously slow, probably because of all the advertising you're forced to watch. Don't panic when the screen goes COMPLETELY BLACK, just wait it out.

The "advanced installation" settings include check boxes to exclude games and other garbage, but this is silly, YOU CAN'T UN-SELECT THEM! Despite that, no garbage was actually installed into Windows 7. Nothing in the start menu or on the desktop. So after installation, everything's good.
