5 out of 5 eggsGreat for what it is...

Pros: - Runs well
- Stable
- No fan = no noise!!!!!

Cons: Catalyst will only let you overclock a tiny bit! Tried some other programs and got lots of artifacts. Reviews claim you can run 6570s up around 900MHz, but seeing as this one doesn't have a fan, maybe you shouldn't even try!

Other Thoughts: Works great with:
- Cooler Master 360 case
- ASRock 870i Cafe board
- Crucial M4 64 GB SSD
- Seagate Barracuda Green 1.5TB HDD
- G Skill Ripjaws 8GB mem
- Nexus 430w PSU

5 out of 5 eggsGreat graphics card for the money!

Pros: Increased my WEI to 6.8 on both graphics tests.

Works as described, It's best to use the drivers located on the his digital website under the relevant part number instead of those supplied with the cd.

Cons: Heat sink is a little to big. Heat sink is capable of blocking access to any near pci-e slots next to it.

5 out of 5 eggsPhenomenal

Pros: Cool, quiet, quick install, HDMI w/audio

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Took a PC from not being able to play any video to playing standard def with 5.1 audio great. Still won't play HD video, but that is a fault of the miserable processor in the machine. For a HTPC, this is THE card to get.

3 out of 5 eggsLarger than expected

Pros: Good reviews. Did not test so don't know good or bad.

Cons: The heat sink wraps around the top and bottom of the card. Carefully look at the card images to be sure it will fit your system. The heat sink was too big for mine. RMA no problem with Newegg!

4 out of 5 eggsVery Impressed

Pros: I am a tech. I wanted to get in some BF3 on my Dell work PC so I threw this thing in. It allowed me to play BF3 and SWTOR at work. It wasn't too bad if you drop all the quality settings down. Definitely playable. I am about to throw it into an HTPC. I can't hear it unlike my main PC's Radeon HD 69502GB which sounds like a jet engine. Price is cheap.

Cons: haven't had any as of yet

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mid range card

Pros: Great performance for the money.
Runs quiet.

Cons: Doesn't support SLI/Crossfire X

Other Thoughts: I was hesitant to buy a card without a fan out of fear of overheating, but I've had this for half a year and have had ZERO problems with it.
This card runs very well for it's price range, but will have trouble competing with higher end cards. I would recommend it if you are gaming on a budget or don't need the very high end cards.

Here is how it performs some games when coupled with a phenom II x6 @3.2 GHZ and 8 gigs of ram:

Starcraft II:
High settings @ 30+ FPS
Extreme settings @ ~20 FPS

Left 4 Dead 1/2:
Highest settings @ 50+ FPS

Medium settings @ 20+ FPS

1 out of 5 eggsNada Linux Support, despite advertisement

Pros: Lots of streams, though they don't do me much good. Functioned immediately upon installation, but only as a pass-through.

Cons: Researched this card on the AMD/ATI website. There I found drivers and detailed installation instructions, etc. and thought "Great! Linux support!" Splurged on a very nice card. Wrong. Please understand THIS CARD IS NOT A GOOD CHOICE FOR LINUX. The proprietary drivers don't work. The OS drivers offer only a tiny improvement in video performance.

Other Thoughts: Dell GX280
P4 2.8ghz HT
using VGA connector on new card
Linux Mint 9 OS (related to Ubuntu)

5 out of 5 eggsMine Runs at 52 C.

Pros: Bought this at a store cause my old card died...Paid too much plus tax.

This is my second HIS card. I have a silent 5570 in another box.

Using Speccy ( free) during BR play back, temps ran 51-52 centigrade. Not bad for a passive $70 card.

Great display on Sony XBR flat panel...will keep buying HIS for all my new builds.

Cons: ZIP ! NADA

5 out of 5 eggsAll you will need

Pros: Works with Linux and Windows 7 (both x64). It is plenty fast for WoW (World of Warcraft) at 1080p (Min. 28fps). Other games play well at "768p" or 720p.

Cons: Not as fast as the more expensive cards that make more noise. It can be too slow for the newest FPS, unless settings are lowered. Might be faster if it was not using slow & outdated DDR3 memory.

Other Thoughts: Currently the best budget fan-less card. I can watch reruns of my shows on one screen, while admiring myself in a webcam mirror on a second screen. All without fan noise.

5 out of 5 eggsHighest capability HTPC video card for the money

Pros: 1) Silent
2) Tackles all the latest HD video formats incl 3d
3) Relatively low power, no extra power cable needed
4) Heat generated is not a problem in a well designed case
5) HDMI, DVI, VGA connections

Cons: The heat sink extends on both sides which can hamper 2 adjacent expansion slots. If they'd remove some of the less needed graphics capability (smaller chip/less memory), the resulting lower price would make this an out-of-the-park home run value for HD video use.

Other Thoughts: Does all the latest 3D HD blu-ray video decompression without taxing your CPU. That's the most difficult task your HD video card will need to handle for now. You can pay more for a video card but it won't get you any better video quality or HD capability, only better gaming capability.
