3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Still Works. Fans cost $2 on e Bay.

Cons: The fan came defective from the get go. Thought it was just a loud card.

Other Thoughts: I've burned this card up more than 10 times before deciding to replace the fan (has probably been close to 30 times).
Although it did come with a 6-month warranty it was after the warranty expired when it first failed. I tried just reapplying thermal paste, progressively got worse, tried oiling it, dremeling it ect. finally got a new fan and it still works. Use to be a Hardcore Wow Player and it survived.
I think there may be an internal sensor somewhere in my system when it sensed it was too hot.

5 out of 5 eggsHIS made it right.

Pros: RMA process through HIS took about 3 weeks, HIS sent me a new card to replace the defective one

Cons: cost me $16 to ship old card to them

Other Thoughts: HIS policy is for customer to keep accessories when sending in an RMA, new card came with new accessories so to me that kind of makes up for the shipping costs.

1 out of 5 eggsupdate

Pros: was cheap, rebate, when it worked it was great

Cons: well had it crossfired with another 6770, temps never got above 60 degrees Celsius due to having msi afterburner controlling fan speed, starting having trouble with games freezing about 2 weeks in causing me to have to reboot system, thought maybe a crossfire problem so I uncrossfired it, wasn't as bad but still freezes with newer games and if running furmark. I know for a fact it's the card because my other HIS 6770 still and always has worked flawlessly.

Other Thoughts: sent in the upc for my rebate (not expecting to have any problems), big mistake, can't rma through newegg now, newegg was nice enough to provide me with HIS support number. called HIS and explained my problem and the guy said "well that's not good" and directed me to the website for warranty service, was venting about the fact that since I sent UPC in for rebate couldn't rma through newegg and the guy told me "well it's not our fault you sent in your rebate so quickly" hopefully not a sign of what to expect from HIS customer service!

don't know if I will buy HIS in the future, we'll see how this goes......

5 out of 5 eggslove these gpu's

Pros: best bang for buck out there, runs all my games, skyrim, mass effect 3, nfs the run on highest settings, got it for $109 and a $10 dollar rebate on top ... can't beat that

Cons: none at all

Other Thoughts: got this crossfired with the smaller HIS H677FN1GD and results are amazing

4 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Nice performance, wish i could have actually used it...

Cons: did not work on my motherboard, i have a pci-e 1.0 slot and this card is 2.1 which is known to have issues with 1.0 slots.

Other Thoughts: If you have a 1.0 slot there's a 50/50 chance a 2.1 card will NOT work. Most radeons are pci-e 2.1 (at least on newegg)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget card!

Pros: Plays Skyrim on high with no problems. Stays pretty cool even under load(might be the 5 fans pushing at it in my tower). Easy set-up and if you only have on-board graphics, this is going to seem amazing to you.

Cons: I'm using a micro ATX MB so I don't have room for a second one?

Other Thoughts: Very happy with this card, would buy from HIS again, and ALWAYS buy from the egg!

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Entry Card

Pros: A step up from entry level cards. Nice cooling unit. Works great for MMO's etc (all except for Rift which seems to hate anything except for top of the line cards - from my experience).

Cons: At the very end of what you would consider "gaming capable". If I were to do it again I would likely have spent another $100 and stepped up to a 6900 series card. Probably will in the next 6 months to a year, anyway.

Other Thoughts: HIS seems pretty solid.
