Pros: Not a bad midrange card. Until it dies on you.

Cons: There is a good chance it will die on you, as all these others have.

Other Thoughts: Card worked great for a year. Then it went kaput, just stopped doing anything other than spinning the fan. I RMAd it to HIS' joke of a contractor LexyCorp, and they have had my card for 2 and a half months. Apparently they decided they can't fix it, so they are saying that the problem isn't covered by warranty. They are now holding the card hostage and not sending it back until I pay return shipping. I payed to ship it there too.

Pros: -Decent graphics quality, hitman absolution, arma 3, etc. look pretty good.

Cons: -feels cheap, the casing on it is wiggly. The fan makes a loud buzzing noise on startup after about 9 months. that is, until u smack the computer or desk then it sounds semi-normal. Cheap but good budget card..

-HIS wants you to RMA your card to a 3rd party distributor, which takes like a month.. Assuming they accept your RMA request. Great!

Other Thoughts: Avoid this card unless someone has replaced the fan on it.. Good if you are on a tight budget i suppose.

Pros: NewEgg rocks!!! I buy everything from this site and will continue to do so in the future.

The card hasn't completely died...yet

Cons: Like everyone else that posted, the fan makes an insane amount of noise...then dies. I contacted HIS and went through a barrage of temp and performance tests. They tried their best to convince me that the card was working fine, and that it must somehow be my fault. Despite the fact that 90% of the people contacting them obvious had the same issue.

Eventually I was referred to Lexycomp to do the RMA. I jumped through those hoops only to finally discover that I have to package my video card, pay for postage, and ship it to them. They will retain my video card for 2 month before sending it back. This is simply unacceptable. I don’t mind paying shipping both ways but I am not sending my video card to them until they send me a replacement first. I am not losing access to my computer for two months while I wait for them to fix a problem that should have been resolved before the thing even shipped in the first place.

Pros: Was a fast card for a good price when it worked.

Cons: Everything else. Terrible card. 6 months after owning it, the fan started giving me problems. I went to the HIS website to find out how to RMA it, only to find they contract an outside company to do it. I called them during their business hours, only to find that after nearly an hour, NO ONE PICKED UP! They never emailed me back after 8 emails. HIS and their partners do not give single **** about their customers! I tried calling several more times, to no avail. DO NOT ever buy ANY HIS products! Now I am going to have to shell out as much as this card is worth on a new cooler for it!

Other Thoughts: Don't even think about HIS products!

Pros: Runs cool and overclocks to 850/1075 without a problem.
Bought it last Christmas and had it for a year now without a single crash/BSOD and I have had it overclocked the whole time.

Cons: Maybe a bit outdated now

Other Thoughts: Was being bottlenecked by my old processor but on its own has no problems.

Pros: Good performance for the $$.
HD 6850 solid platform for begining to intermediate gaming

Cons: HIS seems to have an issue with their fans going out.
Both of my fans gone bad...
I need help with HIS following up on getting my R<A processed

Other Thoughts: Good budget card-
Perhaps just a HIS issue with the fan.

Pros: Great price/performace. Getting great FPS on WoW, LoL, and decent FPS on Starcraft.

Cons: System 1:HIS Video Card fans started making loud noises 7 months into use. Now fan quit working...
System 2:HIS Video Card fan started making the same loud noises as above but only after 5 mo...
2 HIS Cards....2 different systems....both fans bad
Contacted HIS 5 days ago...No response yet

Other Thoughts: Have another system with Gigabyte's Radeon HD 6850 that is 19 mo old that still works fine...
Hoping HIS will resolve issue with the two cards...

Pros: It's been a year of heavy gaming and attempted overclocking, still running strong!!

Cons: When overclocked to it's full (after my tests) potential, it could get really hot even during a cold winter day. It hits the 70s which is pretty much the limit temp of this card.

Other Thoughts: As a mid range card, its dominance gets eliminated quickly in my opinion. Couldn't really run games like Far Cry 3 or Assassin's Creed 3 in very high.

Pros: card runs everything fine, bf3 on medium-high ~45 fps

Cons: VERY CHEAP FAN! HORRIBLE RMA DEPARTMENT!

So far, after the ten months I have had this card, i have gone through 2 cards already and I'm going to call in the RMA on Monday.

I wouldn't have such a problem with it if they had a decent RMA department. The first time I sent it in, it took about 6 WEEKS! 2 of those weeks were spent in shipping limbo when it turned out after I called them, it was sitting on some guys desk for a week. So now I have to relive it all again!

Other Thoughts: If only I could get my money back, but they essentially have a "make it hard as possible to get a refund" policy.
