3 out of 5 eggsGood when it worked

Pros: Worked great while it worked. Played every game I threw at it.

Cons: It seemed to run hot, and within 2 weeks of its warranty expiring a capacitor on began to leak. After about 20 minutes of running the card shuts off at around 60 degrees Celsius (well under threshold)

4 out of 5 eggsOver a year and still strong

Pros: Used for over a year in various builds and still doing very well. Very great performing card for the price and its age.

Cons: It's not amazing by today's standards, but is still a noble and well performing card.
Drivers nowadays aren't frequent or updated like the newer series of cards.

Other Thoughts: Get a newer generation if you can. They are more power efficient, better performing, and have better drivers

1 out of 5 eggsNot very good quality

Pros: Cheap, it was the lowest price 6870 when I bought it.

Cons: I have had this for 14 months. Now suddenly I get lines across the screen. Now all I get is blue screen of death. I guess you get what you paid for.

Other Thoughts: Will now buy quality stuff and no more junk from HIS.

4 out of 5 eggsA Great Card at a Great Price

Pros: -A Bang for your buck in terms of performance. (Great for first build)
-Takes 2 6pin PCI-E power connectors

Cons: -Heatsink needs some work, stock load temps 70-80 degrees, but.
-Thus, almost no overclocking headroom.

Other Thoughts: The 6800's have always been a great value, even despite the fact that they have been in the market for the greater portion of 2 years. Since this card, I have worked with both 7900's and many Gtx 670's and 680's. I'm not going to lie, this card will never reach the heights of the 500 dollar 28nm cards. But for 150 bucks, you cannot go wrong.

1 out of 5 eggsFinally gave out after 6 months or less

Pros: Was cheap and had the best specs for a budget card, ran everything and still does, could max out every single game and I have never had a problem with HIS cards.

Cons: Pixellated dots across screen, only half of screen but is annoying.Still runs good except the artifacts.

Other Thoughts: I have to go through HIS support to get this warranty fixed hopefully, just left them a voicemail.

1 out of 5 eggsRMA'ed this card AGAIN

Pros: Card was cheap.

Cons: 2nd one of these cards I have had to RMA in less than a year. I never overclocked one and I don't really play games, so it's not like I was pushing the card. They are just cheap and poorly made, and start to artifact abnormally soon.

Other Thoughts: Not going to buy HIS brand again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Card while it lasts

Pros: Fast card that's able to handle most things thrown at it. For the price range it is acceptable.

Cons: Intermittent issue with fan, after just a bit of a year the fan stopped functioning properly and overheats under heavy loads unless window is open during winter. Not a fan of gaming with a goat and gloves on.

Other Thoughts: Had nvidia card before which lasted for more than a couple of years. Had ati card when separate company before the nvidia card. Will go back to nvidia at this point.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Decent price

Cons: Worked for about 6 months... then the system started crashing randomly into the "blue screen of death" on a daily basis, or just freezing in the middle of a game. Swapped it into a new PC, and sure enough, same thing happens... so obviously it's the card. After reading all the other reviews here, I am not surprised. No more HIS for me.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Works wonderfully for games playing at 1080p Not as great as what I assume the 6950/70 would do, but the price is perfect and the performance is great.

Cons: Drivers, Catalyst Control Center, basically all of the normal things people complain about with AMD cards. These are no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I really wish that AMD would really get hardcore about their drivers and come out with much better drivers for all of their cards. This one has become pretty stable, but there are still silly errors that catalyst makes, such as overscan. Again, for the price this card is awesome.

5 out of 5 eggsOne Beast of a Card!

Pros: I'll admit, I had second thoughts when buying this card for my first build but now I'm glad I decided on it! It plays all of my games on max settings 60+ FPS (mostly 120+): Amnesia, GMod, Minecraft, RAGE, Fallout New Vegas, Doom 3, etc. I've had no problems so far!

Cons: None! :D

Other Thoughts: My build:
-This card
-i5 2500k CPU
-8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
-ASUS P8Z77-LK Motherboard
-Seasonic 620W PSU
-Seagate Barracuda 1TB Drive
-Windows 7 Home Premium
