5 out of 5 eggsGreat Graphics Card

Pros: Great Graphics card, especially for the price. I can play WoW, Skyrim and pretty much anything on the highest settings. HDMI is great, too, as I have it connected to my 1080p TV. Makes for some amazing game play.

Cons: Very VERY minor con... my case and this card are just barely compatible. I can hardly plug in the HDMI cable without re/unseating the card which causes the screen to turn black/blue on start-up. Right now I have it in a "just right" position, so it works.

Other Thoughts: Buy it, buy it, buy it! Well worth the price.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat "bang for the buck" card

Pros: -Basically identical to the 6770, but generally cheaper due to being a bit older.
-Great price with current rebate.
-Plays most games smoothly on highest settings at 1680x1050
-relatively low power consumption
-copper heatpipes and fan for good cooling

Cons: -Fan can get a bit noisy during load and stays on for a while after load stops. It's the loudest thing in my case.
-takes up nearly two slots, but doesn't have a double slot bracket for support and ventilation. The card sags a bit due to the heavy copper heatpipes
-I've had a bit of trouble with some driver stability, but that's not uncommon with new catalyst releases

Other Thoughts: There's no better card at this price point at time of review.

5 out of 5 eggsA very good card for the price

Pros: My video card had died in my HP Elite desktop. I was fortunate to pick this card at Newegg for $70. It was an easy physical install on my mid-size case. 450W minimum power supply is recommended. I installed the software from the AMD website, rather than the CD, and there were no computer issues. After playing around with card for a couple of weeks, I ran the computer for seven days straight and, again, no issues. As it is a 5770 card, it’s no surprise that the video performance is very good. The fan noise is minimal and there are no heat issues.

Cons: Nothing for now.

Other Thoughts: I thought of paying up for the 6770 cards, but at the $70 price for this card, it just seemed not to be worth it. Performance is terrific.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: -Low Power Usage.. 200 Watts Max with an O/C

-Can run low mode too.. 0.95 vddc 157 core 300 mem

-Can play any game in Ultra. However just more for viewing purposes. This was a midrange card when it came out so now it's more of a low end card.

-Gaming (with a 2500k makes a big difference for getting more framerates) Rift (Ultra) BF3 (Low) WoW (Ultra) Rage (Max) Duke Nukem (Max) Star Trek Online (Medium) Fallout 3/NewVegas (Max) Batman AA (Very High)

No problem with high definition video.

Cons: My fan recently went bad. However, I was able to take a fan off an old heatsink and attached it directly into the heatsink fins. Works good aside that i have no control over the fan.

Other Thoughts: While I don't have these exact model I do have an HIS 5770 that came out about an year and half ago. So performance should be about the same.

Makes a good starter video card.
