1 out of 5 eggsSECOND BAD CARD

Pros: Marketing???

Cons: After a month the first cost lost the red colors and I RMA's it to HIS. 5 Weeks after the RMA, I received the replacement TODAY. After 15 minutes of usage the screen goes black. After it cools it comes back on for 15 minutes and craps out again. This is the SECOND bad card.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING!!

Pros: It has a HDMI port.
Can support multiple monitors,
Uses, pcie 3.0
comes with a sticker.

Cons: I've read some reviews for this same card, and i hear people can run bf3 and diablo 3 with it on (custom)high settings. When i lowered some settings, it hit about 30-40 in semi-cluttered area's, but i pretty much had to turn everything down to exceed 50-60 fps solid. I think im just doing something wrong though. still an amazing card. ( love the sticker).

:(Didn't come with engine code)

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent for the Price

Pros: Great Value
Stays very cool
Fan is near silent, AMD heatsink drowns it out regardless

Cons: It isn't the prettiest card sitting in their
Can't overclock it much, bumping it from 800/1125 to 900/1250 causes lots of crashing/instability

Other Thoughts: If I am trying to adjust settings, such as VSYNC or even Alt-Tabbing out of games they have a tendency to crash. I've gotten a few "Graphics Driver has crashed and recovered on it's own". I'm on Windows 8 64bit, and I think it is the issue, as i had the same problems on my laptop with win 8. I may go back to Win 7 and update if it is better.

I play League of Legends, and Counter-Strike Global Offensive. Both games run at 80+FPS on very high at 1680x1050 on a 22" dell monitor.

I also play Kerbal Space Program and it runs very smoothly on here with most settings disabled(this game is super CPU intensive, so not a good test of the GPU)

Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+ Dual Core 3ghz
4gb DDR2 @ 400mhz
300w PSU
Windows 8 64bit

5 out of 5 eggsHIS Video Card

Pros: Good for money
cheap
HDMI
Comes with adapter
Packaged well
PCIE slot powers it by its self

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Good video card, that doesn't require its own power supply. Good for the average gamer.

2 out of 5 eggsNice card, but HDMI not working, HIS support awful

Pros: Nice gaming graphics, small footprint, low power.

Cons: 1. Technical support barely existent. You can't call these guys. Know this before you buy.
2. HIS website a confusing mess, mostly referring you to stock AMD docs.
3. My HDMI port doesn't work, no matter what kind of monitor I plug it into; tried different cables, natives, adapters, monitors, etc. Assuming it's defective.

Other Thoughts: Nice card, but don't expect any help at all from HIS, the best you can do is an email support ticket. I'll spend a few extra bucks for a card with some tech support next time.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice card, great price. Works as expected with Intel i5 computer. We are not a gaming family, but wanted a better video card to watch movies and play games like Sims3 and the new SimCity. Runs everything we have with no issues.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsCompatibility.

Pros: Low power, keeps up in games at 1080p and lower. PCIE lane supplies all the power so the card draws less than 75w.

Cons: Got this for a friend turns out his ipilc-lc boards x16 lane not compatible and neither Asus, HP, Compaq, or AMD have released a simple firmware upgrade to address this. Shame on you folks. Out with the old it seems. I hate them but see ipilc-lc everywere, leaving a new computer the only choice for many folks with a 3-6 year old pc from HP, Compaq, Gateway. This would take a bit of new microcode in the bios. Also a chipset flash from HIS, AMD, or in this case Intel could also remedy the issue.

Other Thoughts: Tested the card in a ASUS M4N98TD EVO 955be 8G and after my bios had a small heart attack, put the card though all the tests and games, 1080p BF3 Custom all ultra but shadows low x2 AA 50fps. Not bad, about 30% of what my 470gtx can do at about 1/3 the power. Performance per watt is huge.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Easy to overclock (as AMD cards always are)
Quiet
Good bang for your buck

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: This is a really good card for the money. Out of the box, this was ready to be overclocked. AMD maxes it out at 900 GPU clock and 1250 memory clock. This card was an upgrade from an almost 4 year old Radeon HD 4300. I was limping along in World of Warcraft with that card barely pushing 20-30 FPS in good areas on low settings. As soon as I update the drivers for this, I'm pushing well over 100. Cranked the graphics up to ultra and I'm pushing 30 at the low end in major cities. Counter-Strike: Source won't drop below 100 FPS with the graphics up. I was watching the temp at 100% load and it hovers around the 51C mark, ideling at 33C. Overall, I am loving this card and have no issues with it.
