5 out of 5 eggsoutstanding!

Pros: highly recommend this card, runs very quiet and cool. I have this card overclocked to 1100mhz and never runs hotter than 65 degrees Celsius

Cons: none so far!

3 out of 5 eggsWorks great, and stays cool, but at a cost

Pros: Great performance for a mid-range card.
Runs cool and stably.
Very power efficient, especially when compared to older AMD/ATI models such as as the hot and hungry Radeon 4870.
Needs only one 6-pin power connector.
Comes with H.I.S.'s overclocking and card management utility, which allows you to turn off ULPS (Ultra Low Power State) for more stability if you are crossfiring with a 2nd card. Note: 2 cards is the limit for crossfire as there is only one bridge connector.

Cons: This card is LOUD! I bought another brand 7850 to crossfire with this, and the noise difference is like night and day. With demanding games, the (single) fan speed quickly ramps up to an annoying level. Running benchmarks or stress-testing with Furmark or the like, it may as well be a vacuum cleaner.
Regarding crossfire, I saw stuttering in Far Cry 3, compared to when using a single card, although framerate almost doubled. I had been using nVidia 460's in SLI, and although they were slower and ran hotter than the 7850's, I did not see the stuttering effect.

Other Thoughts: Minor point: the card is bulky width-wise, and the appearance is not very sleek in my opinion.
The noise sounds mostly like wind noise to me, although you can still hear the motor. I would prefer a multi-fan solution, which most non-reference cards use. I'm sensitive to noise and this is the reason for my 3-egg review.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent graphics card

Pros: The card is very silent, which is excellent because of the placement of my computer, and I used to distract my girlfriend with the noise from old graphics card. It stays at low temp. even while playing new games on high settings.
And it is never bad that the card looks very cool too!

Cons: I had one problem, which I wrote a review about. And that is a weird blurry line on screen while moving around anything from windows, moving character around in games, or watching a film. But I realized the problem only occurs while two monitors are connected to the card. By removing the other one (TV) the blurry line has disappeared, and everything runs smoothly again.

Other Thoughts: I was very unhappy with this card when I noticed the blurry line, but after removing the second video cable from the graphics card, it just runs perfectly. So I am very happy with my card. I even wrote to HIS about it, and they gave me great support. Very precise and very fast answer. However it didn't solve my problem, but it lead me to thinking about removing the other cable.

5 out of 5 eggsEGG-CELLENT CARD

Pros: Stays super cool under load and is pretty quite. Overclocks like a dream. 2 GB of vRAM is a big plus for today's games. It also only requires a single power cable. Plays my games on high-very high settings without fail.

Cons: First one was defective, had to RMA. These things happen, no biggie. (read other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: First one was funky. The RMA process was quick and painless though. Received replacement within two weeks.

Second card works like a champ. Overclocked to 1150/1400 without even having to adjust the voltage.

I love this card to death. It has never passed 57c in any of my games or stress test's. It idles at 28c. Wow! The IceQ X cooler is simply AWESOME.

HIS will be my new company for GPUs from this point forward, until I find a reason to switch. Great product and terrific customer support. And their cooler designs are just terrific and work perfectly.

I am very impressed with this thing. And my rig loves it.

2 out of 5 eggsGood but with some problems

Pros: Doesn't get warm, is silent, and looks extremely cool. Runs games smoothly on high settings.

Cons: Just as TheDude1179 I have the same horizontal blurry line on screen when playing games or watching video, which annoys me REALLY much. The line is about 1cm and is located 1/3 from the bottom on the screen. It is sometimes worse than others depending on how the video og game is moving. I don't know how to fix it, and it just really annoys me. My old 4850 1GB didn't do that.

Other Thoughts: The card itself looks cool, and stays cool while running. I have been playing games for many hours with the blurry line, but because it is located closer to the bottom of the screen, and my focus is on center I sometimes forget it is there. So I can play my games, and run them on Ultra High graphics settings without the slightest drop in FPS, so if the horizontal line is something fixable through driver updates or something, I would definitely recommend this card to others. But before that, stay away from this card.

4 out of 5 eggsNice card with minor issues.

Pros: - Great performance, gave me good FPS on everything I played on it.
- Consumes way less power than my old VC (nvidia gtx 260)
- Way cooler and quieter than my old card
- Got it on sale from newegg and price is still competitive

Cons: - Does not work with one of two PCI-e slots on my MB, other card does work. The second slot is the bottom one, so everything happens to be tight now

- Linux dirvers from AMD are somewhat always `beta` both open-source and closed-source.

- I don't have much time to enjoy games I got this thing for, have to pay bills.

1 out of 5 eggspiece of garbage

Pros: Nothing, didn't work, caused any game I played to lock up my computer. Only way out was to hard reset it!

Cons: VERY BULKY , it could be a lot smaller, didn't even work in games.

Other Thoughts: Go with Nvidia, the graphics cards are better quality and the drivers for AMD are TERRIBLE.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None, dead on first day.

Cons: Was immediately obvious there was a problem with a card, major horizontal flickering and artifacting, during Tomb Raider and every other game I tried.

Other Thoughts: Cost me $15 to ship this back for a replacement, making the card much less of a value. Should have gone with a more reliable brand I guess. Now I see they are out of stock as well, not looking forward to this.

5 out of 5 eggsBest for the price.

Pros: -Outstanding performance, much better than was expected for the 7850, and anything in its price range
-Can run Far Cry 3 on Ultra, 4x MSAA at 1440x900 (Bad monitor) with an average of 40 FPS. Though I don't advise Ultra since it will drop during combat.
-Skyrim is taken care of without breaking a sweat on Ultra with HD 4k-texture mods, 60 fps avg.
-Keeps very cool, extremely quiet. Also quite nice looking.

Simply the best card in this price range. Even the Nvidia 560 ti is overpowered by this card, and the 560 ti is atleast $70 more.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: At first, this card's performance was shoddy. Then AMD recently released the 13.3 beta drivers, and performance in all of my games (Especially Far Cry 3) Shot through the roof. Would definitely buy a second one and crossfire.
