5 out of 5 eggsGreat card.

Pros: Passive cooling design.
Actually does a good job cooling.
Windows rating of 6.8 out of the box, no OC.

Packaging was bomb-proof. Seriously, you could have thrown the box off your roof and the card would not have known it.

Cons: Nothing.

Other Thoughts: It won't run the newest games at highest settings, but it will do a bang-up job for what you pay.
Games over a year or two old will fly in this thing.

5 out of 5 eggsCool Card

Pros: A pleasure to operate, totally silent and great performance for a DDR3. I overclocked it also and get 7.1 in Windows experience but runs stable. This is my lowest score but it is the price to pay for SILENCE. I am not a gamer so no big deal, runs Photoshop and other graphic programs as well as video perfectly.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for silence and good performance, this is the card to get!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I am not a high end gamer, but this card ran starcraft on the extreme graphics setting perfectly. it also got a decent score on the fuzzy doughnut benchmark software( fur mark).

4 out of 5 eggsNice Card, A bit warm when gaming

Pros: Not too big, quiet, idles nicely at just over 100 f but gets pretty hot when playing civ5. I would not call it cool under load but enough air circ should work out OK. Great deal for media playback and some gaming and it is quiet!

Cons: Runs fairly hot under load, needs good air circ.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdated Review On This Awesome Card

Pros: Pros:
1- Whisper quiet
2- Heatsink is made by Zalman for HIS !
3- NO fan
4- No issue with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 32 bit AMD Radeon X.Org driver
5- Crisp graphics in 3-d animations
6- Under heavy graphical load still runs cool (able to touch heatsink after hrs of use)

Cons: Cons: As stated earlier no buy one get one free deal LOL

Other Thoughts: After reading on HIS website I discovered the iSilence 5 heatsink is made by Zalman. FYI Zalman makes lots of aftermarket pc cooling products includng graphics card heatsinks. As for the card, it's a great performer with my AMD FX-4100 cpu (oced to 4.290 GHz.) I use heavy 3-d graphical animations and this card takes it in stride w/o running hot. For some of you Ubuntu 12.04 users here is how I got Radeon card to work. First I had to use an older Radeon PCI-E 2.0 card for intial driver install **using VGA only during driver installation. After re-booting I took old card out and installed this one via HDMI to a 32" HD tv. I chose 1280x720 widescreen resolution (tv resolution) and then used AMD sofware to resized my screen to fit perfectly. Also be sure to select HDMI audio out in the sound menu. I have not experienced any "video stutter" due to fact during initial Ubuntu 12.04 32 bit OS install I installed ALL updates first...**then installed AMD/Radeon X.Org driver. Hope this helps some of you who are using Ubuntu 12.04 32 bit OS.
In summation I got his card @ $62.99, an eggcellent sale and have no buyers remorse. It will work on PCI-E 2.0 or 1.0 motherboard (be bottlenecked on 1.0) and performs better than the Nvidia GT 430 DDR3 128 bit 1 gig it replaced. I have no idea how it performs on Windows;due to fact after Micro$oft announced it will be stopping ALL support/updates for XP 8/18/13 I went Linux and glad I did. Thank you Newegg/HIS/AMD for this great card!!!

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet Moderately Fast Card!

Pros: Here are the pros:
1- NO noisey fan
2- AMD HD 6670 GPU
3- Memory clock of 1600 Mhz
4- Core clock of 800 Mhz
5- PCI-E 2.1 (backwards compatible with 2.0 & 1.0)
6- Highest quality factory graphics card packaging I even seen!
7- AWESOME priced!!

Cons: No buy one get one free special LOL

Other Thoughts: Although I am no heavy gamer I do lots of animation and this card gives incredible graphics in this category. Finally a reasonably priced, moderately fast SILENT card. It arrived within 3 days of order placement and the HIS packaging is the best I ever seen!!! I installed the card without any issues and the ATI Ubuntu 12.04 (32 bit) driver worked flawlessly. I already had an Antec exhaust blower (controlled via Zalman fan speed controller) in my case, so I re-mounted it beside this card for extra cooling. I am using the HDMI out connected to a 32" HD tv and graphics look incredible! For a HTPC. or budget gaming pc this would be perrrfect. A rundown of my pc specs:

DYNEX (APEX) Mid Tower Case
AMD Black Edition FX-4100 CPU
RocketFish Universal CPU fan/heatsink
MSI AM3+ motherboard w/PCI-E 2.0
3 GIG DDR3 Crucial 1066 Ram (1x 2 GIG + 1x1 GIG modules)
SATA Western Digital HD 320 GB
COOLMAX ZX-500 watt psu
HIS iSilence 5 Radeon HD 6670 card
Antec exhaust blower fan/Zalman fan speed controller
92mm case fan
Logitech V400 wireless keyboard w/built in mouse
32" HD tv connected via HDMI cable
OS: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (32 bit)

Thanks Newegg for eggcellent bargain and quick shipping! ^5. Only distant memories of not so "prime" deals now...

5 out of 5 eggsSilence is golden

Pros: The packaging from the manufacturer is as good as it gets. The entire video card is surrounded by some type of foam like material. It would be next to impossible for any damage to happen during shipping.

The driver disk was included in the package and unlike any other driver disk that I have seen this one has a menu option to go check and retrieve the latest driver from AMD. That was surprising since the video card is a HIS card.

I am not real big on gaming but I wanted a card that would permit some amount of game play without my computer sounding like a wind tunnel. Silence is golden.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is the 4th or 5th Radeon card that I have purchased from HIS. This card, as well as the others, have worked exactly like I expected them too. If you are looking for a quiet video card with some pretty decent specs then this may be the card for you. I would certainly recommend this one to my friends.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This replaced an AMD Radron 5450 superior graphics just way better.I like it alot because it's fanless, and it looks very nice in my case with the blue LEDs. One word"Quality".

3 out of 5 eggsRats!

Pros: This would be perfect..

Cons: if they did't block that slot, and slide the heat sink forward - no room for my fan controller. If they are going to block the slot might as well add a second slot cover vent.

Other Thoughts: Why doesn't anyone address fan control ( I mean seriously address it ) since the GPU fan doesn't need to run on high all the time.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I needed a mid to high range graphics card for my sons new pc. however the power supply in the case was marginal per the requirements listed for all the ones with a built in fan. This was a perfect solution, son is very happy with the graphics capability. (runs Diablo III well) Temp of the cooling fins on the graphics card gets uncomfortable to hold but no problems yet. easy install just plugged and loaded software. He doesn't have a newer monitor so we are using the standard vga plug haven't used the HDMI plug yet. Not my concern but obviously it runs quietly(SILENT)

Cons: None for me, however if you have a case with high heat levels inside and/or low airflow through case I would imagine there might be a problem with cooling. i.e. fins can't cool with hot air.

Other Thoughts: newegg rules
