Pros: Low Power Consumption, Smaller then Most High End Cards

Other Thoughts: Plays Everything Beautifully So far running Tomb Raider in ultra no problem

Pros: The card does what it should. It's a decent card that runs sc2 on high settings without an issue. Generally giving 30-100 FPS depending on how many units are on the screen.

CSGO on max gets about 100-200 FPS depending on the map and etc.

NS2 gets 30-70 on high(almost maxed all but vsync and anti-aliasing.) depending on the map and how many things are happening.

Cons: While it does get some acceptable frames it does it under such heat that it's ridiculous. Everything else in my rig stays well under the 50C mark but this card burns up. Generally I get any where from 70-90C under average load with the above games. While components near the video card stay cool. The heatsink on this simply isn't enough to handle it. (look someplace else)

Other Thoughts: I may have gotten a faulty card, I will look into it with HIS.

Pros: Great bang for the buck. If you purchase any 7870 you won't regret it. It will run modern games (BF3, Diablo 3, etc) on the highest settings without a problem.

Cons: The card it self has no cons in my opinion.

However, I doubt I'll be buying HIS again. Read on.

I've owned this specific card since July 2012. The fan died on me in Feb and I had to RMA it, I've been without a video card since Feb 18th. I have to say that the RMA process with HIS has been the worst experience I've had. When an RMA is needed you don't go through HIS you go through some third party vendor that lacks completely in communication. I've had to contact them to verify they even received my video card. Once they receive you are informed not to contact them for 2-4 weeks. At this point I have no idea where my replacement is, or when I should even expect one.
I don't understand why a replacement takes 3+ weeks. If HIS wants to hold on to its customers they should starting doing RMA on their own or through someone else.

Pros: Great performance for the money, huge improvement from previous 460. Probably the best card in this price range at this time.

Cons: Had to RMA the first card.

Other Thoughts: This was RMA replacement for a card that didn't work out of the box. I was disappointed with HIS and to a lesser degree AMD, but newegg was awesome. Replacement card was shipped promptly and is working great.

Pros: Great card, great price, no problems with drivers, downloaded the newest Catalyst from AMD (not beta) and all was well.

Cons: None

Pros: NewEgg Customer Service; RMA, waiting for replacement card.

Cons: Crashes/hard locks desktop with either grey screen or sometimes grey/black rectangles, never got it to run longer than three minutes. Tried 12.10 and 12.11 drivers.

Other Thoughts: Was looking forward to a performance improvement over the current 460... have to wait.

Pros: * Looks cool
*Can play every game I've thrown at it in ultra settings at 720p HD (Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, ARMA 2.)
* Can handle 6 monitors! I have only tried out 2 so far.
* Great for video editing! Renders videos in Sony Vegas Pro 10 crazy quickly!
* Presentation. The box it comes in is very well presented and neatly packaged.

Cons: I have none so far! Will update if it poops out!

Pros: Nice look
From what I can tell, it would have had great performance

Cons: Dead on Arrival, nothing else to say but it doesn't deserve 1 egg.

Other Thoughts: I will be getting another one and giving a full review. I expect great things from this card.

Pros: Worked out of box. very clear from video card. no problems with new Radeon 7870. Very fast at 1 GHz.

Cons: not yet, Will give you a update later.

Other Thoughts: Upgrade from HIS Ice X Turbo 6850 1GB. It will be my final upgrade for me. It is nice to move up to 2 GB DDR video card.

Pros: Plays all games on max before overclocking. Runs cool and quiet. It's what I expected out of a mid range card, no regrets..

Cons: None as long as it continues it work as it does now

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to someone who was limited to this price range, obviously if you can afford more go better.
