4 out of 5 eggsDid well, died well

Pros: I took this thing as high as 1160MHz at stock voltage. It still ran cool, and was relatively stable. The RAM was never able to go much higher than 1500MHz. When gaming, temperatures higher than 70 Celsius were nearly unheard of, and the card pushed out high frame rates, despite some stutter.

Cons: It appears the memory has failed. It has produced some artifacts on the desktop before, even at stock clocks, but nothing severe. Recently, though, large chunks of my framebuffer went missing in games, and the drivers started to crash, locking my whole system up on both Linux and Windows. It survived about three years of use.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
We are sorry for your situation and suggest you try to check following steps.
1. If possible verify the HIS graphics card on another working system or verify another working card on your motherboard. Need to ensure that the platform is no problem.
2. If you need further assistant, please feel free to contact our customer service department directly.

Best Regards

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: After a burn in period, the card works great. Runs cool.

Cons: In the first two weeks I had the card it started "Artifacting" playing Smite. Which isn't a graphic intensive game at all. The drivers were all updated. The card has been running smooth as glass for the last 3 weeks.

1 out of 5 eggsAweful

Pros: None

Cons: Died!!!!

Other Thoughts: Updating from my last review. This card died in about 8 months. The warranty is covering it, but it is taking about a month to get it back. For the price you would think that it would last longer.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked great for 5 months

Pros: -Worked great, ran anything I threw at it on Ultra/ Very high and a 2560X1440 monitor.

-Loved it while it lasted

Cons: -Stopped working in less than six months. I bought in August and it worked great until a couple weeks ago when it started to be really unreliable. It would have a lot of artifacts, displays would crash, and I'd get a BSOD on start up sometimes.

Other Thoughts: I'm trying to get a replacement or refund for it now, but since it's been discontinued I'm not sure how well that will work. This review should apply to its 280X version as well. I'm assuming.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Just wanted to do an update from my last post. This card is not going blank anymore. I have not had that problem in a while. It has been working awesome. It seems to have worked itself out. If you do have this problem, it may do the same. It does not lag in my game at all, and I play StarCraft II.

Cons: Kinda pricey. It has gone down since I bought it, but that's the way New Egg works. Buy something then they lower the price. Sometimes before you even receive it.

Other Thoughts: I do recommend this card now. Some people say they cannot get a hold of HIS support, I did and they were willing to exchange the card. But before I could get around to send it in, it started working and has worked ever since. I never have swapped out the card. I think it's something that just has to work out. maybe the drivers were the problem, I do not know, I don't care, it works now and that is all that matters.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great Card Bought it for my budget build and was utterly surprised when it was shelling out 80 fps on bf3 max setting stock clock. Quiet very Quiet!

Cons: none so far only had it a week so not a reliable source in this field. Only game i had trouble with was Guild Wars 2 35 FPS in a crowded WVW Battle.

Other Thoughts: great value for what you get.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful Card

Pros: This card plays everything i throw at it no problem. Full 1920x1080 bf3 on ultra im getting mid 60's, larger maps it sometimes dips to 50's. Metro Last Light it never drops below 50 fps. It stays very cool all the time and the included software for controlling fan speed and OC worst well so far. If you have a Cooler Master Haf 912 you will need to remove the middle drive bay.

Cons: None so far. Shame i haven't bought 2 yet.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a fantastic card look no further. I picked this up over a 760 and im extremely satisfied. Easily can be clocked to the same as the Ghz edition cards. Make sure your processor can handle this i5 up, for amd id say nothing lower than an 8 core.

My build:
Asus Sabertooth 990fx
Amd 8320 @ 4.5ghz
8 gigs of Corsair vengeance
Roswell lighting 800 watts
Corsair h100 i

1 out of 5 eggsSupport non-existant

Pros: None - have not received a working unit yet.

Cons: Does not work out of the box. Unpackaged and immediately found a small IC chip laying on foam under the card. Looked at the back of the card and you can clearly see where it should have been soldered on the card, but due to a shotty solder job had fallen off.

Other Thoughts: Contacted tech support via email, they DO NOT have a phone number (I hate that these days) was told to put in a ticket. I did and have heard NOTHING back in 4 days. Followed up with emails and have been ignored. Also used this KoG thing they have and its gone nowhere as well.

Not impressed with Their tech support at all. With so much graphic card competition, I see NO reason whatsoever to purchase this card. Find one with a tech support phone #

5 out of 5 eggsMost powerful card I've ever experienced

Pros: This card is outstanding. I've been able to run all these games at 100% max everything at 1080p (1920x1080 resolution) (Check 'other thoughts' for system specs):
- Crysis 3
- Metro: Last Light
- Far Cry 3
- WoW
- Saints Row: The Third
- Planetside 2
The most intense was probably Planetside 2, where it dipped into the low 40's for FPS when my screen was full of explosions/100's of people/and a huge detailed area. But on average it ran 70fps+. Crysis dipped slightly in the beginning during that stormy sea part but that was it. I've been throwing everything I can think of at it, and it's laughing at me. Getting 70+ FPS on anything I can think of just brings tears of joy.

Temp wise this card never read higher than 67C after 2 days straight of playing several high-demanding games. It stayed quiet the entire time. I never heard the fan rev up at all, and if it did, it was so suttle I barely noticed. Extremely satisfied with this card.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: System Specs:
CPU - AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz
CPU Cooler - Zalman Extreme 110 Ultra Quiet Slim
Case - Cooler Master CM Storm Scout 2 Advanced
RAM - G.Skill Ares Series 1866 8GB (2 x 4 GB)
PSU - Corsair HX Series 750W
Motherboard - ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

Side note: I haven't overclocked it, because I haven't had to. Don't see why unless you're aiming to play at 1440p or higher res. Or if a game more demanding than Crysis 3 comes out
