Save the extra cost on CPU's with on board graphics. They're not worth anything. Cons: Underwhelming and that's coming from a 5570 and 4850. I got my GPU at 750 mhz, memory at 851 mhz, fan at 65%, temps stays under 50F in gaming or surfing, power control at normal 0% and got 280+ FPS in CS-Source. Plus, I love the features with the Catalyst Control Center. "Money well spent!" Cons: None so far, but I wish they could of gave me a extra HIS sticker! Pros: - No aux power connector needed, draws all power via PCIe slot - Runs cool and fast Cons: - No free game coupon - Not GDDR5 (Only 1GB cards are GDDR5 so far) Other Thoughts: It seems pretty quick. It scores a 6.9 on both graphics categories in the Windows (7) Experience Index. Games run with very playable framerates. In my computer room where it's about 80F, the card is running at about 35C (95F) at idle and while browsing the Internet. Under full load, temp hovered around 49/50C (120-122F). The fan remained at 39% (on automatic control). A good buy, but if its 2 GB of memory was GDDR5 instead of DDR3, and HIS included a coupon for a free (current) game, it would be a GREAT buy! Pros: Great Value Easy Install Low Power Requirements Great Performance Quiet Aesthetic Cons: Very Large Card - no room for cards above it on some boards Other Thoughts: This card was a great deal for the price ($20 mail-in rebate offer). Works perfectly in my PCI-e x16 1.x slot, affirming to me that as I read PCI-e is indeed back/forward compatible. Card was very large - had to remove the card above it for the micro-sd device for it to fit. Cons: Crashed constantly, computer and card (Sometimes just the card/monitor, computer still running, sometimes, but rarer, the computer entirely) never happened before. Have more than enough power for this card, it's just constantly and randomly crashing on me during any game. Not near overheating, capped at 52 C. Crashed in Borderlands 2, Minecraft, AoE 3, and DayZ mod. And those are mostly the only games I tried it with. At random times too, usually after an hour or so, but like I said, it doesn't get NEAR overheating. Other Thoughts: RMA'd it. Contemplating if I should have just tried for a refund.
