1 out of 5 eggsUpdate.

Pros: When it works, games run at high to ultra settings smoothly.

Cons: It bluescreens after an hour or two despite having no clear driver conflicts.

Other Thoughts: This is my second one, after the first one was rife with constant BSoDs and marred performance and died on day two, this isn't much better. Never buying from HIS again, refunding instead of replacing this time.

2 out of 5 eggsNo matter how little you pay for this, you're still paying too much

Pros: *is a graphics card

Cons: *experiences screen tears within first month of owning
*by end of second month, card failed

Other Thoughts: Seriously, what was I thinking with this purchase. Stay away from HiS. The card didn't even ship with an applicable manual.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible

Pros: Nada.

Cons: Installed drivers, things ran a tad worse than with my old 6570. Then bluescreen. Reboot, run another game. Bluescreen. Try different drivers. Bluescreen. Clock the card down. Works okay outside of garbage performance, then massive bluescreen followed by total graphics corrruption. Dead card, three days. 90 USD well wasted.

Other Thoughts: Never again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for a budget build

Pros: Got this on sale last May and it runs great. I've been running quite a few games on max and high settings with no problems at all. Since this isn't the best card out there, there are, of course, quite a few games that will lag if I run that at high settings, but for the majority of games I play, this really has served me well.

Cons: Fan could be a bit better, but that's really the only con

4 out of 5 eggsA Pleasant Enough Experience

Pros: The main reason I bought this was the price point. Great Black Friday deal, after rebate will have cost me $50. Older tech and specs on the card, like who uses the vga ports anymore?? But my system is a black friday deal from 4 years ago, still on pcie 2.0, so this works just fine. Replaced my 9800gt that died, and gives a noticeable boost over the older card.

I'd give it 5 stars if it was from n v i d i a, this is my first real experience with radeon, other than a few years ago I bought an underpowered card and returned it for the 9800gt.

Anyway, works on pretty high settings in everything I've thrown at it so far. Like Borderlands 2, Defiance, Dead Rising 2, Far Cry 3, Marvel Heroes, No More Room in Hell. Quite a variety of games there. I don't set everything to max, usually keep the anti-alias stuff at 4x, sometimes 8x if I feel frisky.

Hasn't disappointed yet. Quiet and cool enough for me not to notice it, glad I made the purchase.

Cons: It's a Radeon, but, nobody is perfect.

Other Thoughts: Best value for a mid ish range card that will still play good games with a good framerate.

5 out of 5 eggspowerful card for the price

Pros: 512 stream processors, really cheap for the performance. good for moderate gaming on medium/high settings.
runs about 90-100 KH/s on scrypt mining

Cons: not a 7990, 780ti, and a 290x combined into one giant card for a fraction of the price

Other Thoughts: great budget build card, but the 7790 might be a better choice if you have a slightly larger budget.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good.

Pros: Good performance to cost ratio.

Smooth problem free driver install and instructions.

Good overclock and fan managment utility included, but works fine on base settings.

Lower power requirements than some comparable cards, meaning that this will work without power from anything other than the PCI e slot, no need to upgrade your PSU or run a power cable.

2g memory allows it to work well with newer larger games that would hang on a 1g card.

Cons: The box and the manual have some minor English translation or phrasing issues, but only on a cosmetic level. They are sufficient to explain any questions you might have as an average to novice user needing to install the device.

Other Thoughts: I installed this on my older Dell Studio XPS 7100 replacing a Radeon 5440 (Same brand older model) card and the difference is night and day.

Upped my windows experience rating a full point and changed key limiting factor from graphics card to hard disk access speed.

Benchmarked 25 FPS playing Skyrim on Ultra Graphics settings with 920*1080 widescreen. Benched on the world map rather than in a smaller cell, runs at 30-40 FPS inside of smaller cells.

Also did a non benchmark play test with Rome Total War 2 on high settings 920*1080 wide and it ran nice and smooth both on the campaign map and during battle command.

Worked well, didn't even have to rev up the fan.
