5 out of 5 eggsLong term review!

Pros: After two years, no real performance issues with the card. Initially got it as an upgrade from my 5670, which was also from HIS. Card can pump out fantastic graphics, can play most games on max. Can get a little noisy, and toasty according to CCC, but seems to manage fine.

Cons: My processor appears to be bottlenecking the system a bit, in terms of the card. It's also rather loud nowadays. This is mostly due to my processor being older (Phenom II X4 955), and my environment being less than suitable (always in a room that's 9/12 months of the year toasty, about 80 degrees).

Other Thoughts: As I bought this from an upgrade from my 5670, the performance boost was immediate. At this point, I feel like I COULD keep the card for a new budget build, if I wanted. More than likely I won't, as there's much better to be had nowadays. But as I got the card back in 2013, it still pounds out most games on high and ultra, depending. Again, the bottleneck appears to be my processor, so that's no fault on the card itself. It's been very stable, and I've only had issues because of Logitech drivers being finicky. Overall, a very good card for what I paid, which was full price at the time. I will continue to use it until I do my next build.

1 out of 5 eggsHighly Disappointed

Pros: None

Cons: I got this card last April and had constant problems. I sent it in for replacement in August. I get it back a month and a half later which was fine.
So I install the replacement and instantly gives me black screens and constant frame drop on the lowest graphic settings in every game new or old I threw at it.

Other Thoughts: This was my first HIS card, my experience was so bad I cant recommend this brand to anyone.

5 out of 5 eggsNo problems so far!

Pros: Haven't had any major issues. Runs all games at the highest settings with texture mods installed. No complaints. Fit perfectly in my case oddly enough. I was sure I'd have to bend some metal.

Cons: Screen garbled for 2 secs around a week after I got it. Haven't seen it happen again since.

Other Thoughts: Normally an XFX guy but I chose it over their 7870 because I think this one looks sexy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: I can play bf4 at all high settings at 1080p averaging between 50 and 90 fps. I love the card. Very overclockable, and stays cool. Im going to buy a second soon for crossfire!

Cons: Pretty big and heavy, it weighs down on my mobo pci slot.

1 out of 5 eggsCrashing

Pros: Worked flawlessly for about 4 months

Cons: Yesterday it began to crash with the slightest provocation. I can no longer view videos in fullscreen without a guaranteed crash. I have to be careful about the websites I go to because the flash animations or videos on the front pages of some sites cause a crash, as was the case when I went to the manufacturers website. I cannot receive a refund from newegg and the manufacturer has provided no support other than saying that I should contact newegg for a refund. I have searched (with care as to not make my computer crash again) for a fix for my problem, but all of the forums, chatrooms, ect all come up with the same solution: replace the card. I am posting this in the hopes that the manufacturer will see this and remedy the problem. I left a review yesterday and it was gone today So here's hoping for some assistance.

Other Thoughts: I just want to finish my school work.

1 out of 5 eggsCrashing

Pros: I have owned this card for nearly 4 months with no problems (beyond occasional artifacts).

Cons: Due to the card crashing I have to restart my computer nearly every 30 min.

Other Thoughts: I have tried reseating it, but no dice. I tried to look up the problem to see if anyone had luck solving this using different drivers, but the only solution listed was buy a new card. I've checked multiple websites (after several restarts) and each come to the same conclusion buy a new card.

5 out of 5 eggsWHAT A BEAST

Pros: This card is almost 12 inches long and is the fastest and quitest and coolest running card I have ever run. I am running all games on ultra or movie or maximum and getting nothing less than 60 fps. WARTHUNDER is running upwards of 90fps with no issues and staying cool and not a peep of sound from the tower.

Cons: It is huge!!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: Plays every single game I throw at it maxed out settings.
Looks very nice. Came with two free games! Great card overall.

Cons: Only con is the size of it. I had to take the middle hard drive bays to fit it.

Other Thoughts: Nothing really else to say, very nice card. Buying more from HIS in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet Mid range card

Pros: This is a great mid-range video card.

You get to pick two free games off of AMD's Never Settle program.

Runs Skyrim , Sleeping Dogs and Hitman Absolution smoothly at 1920 x 1080.

Software to control the fan onboard the card is included and very easy to use.

Cons: You can hear the fan on the card if you max it out but with a good airflow in your case it shouldn't even be getting that warm.

Other Thoughts: Don't forget to install the fan control software on the cd that comes with it. Otherwise I don't think the fan goes over 30% speed and if you are a gamer you will want it to do around 50 to 60%.

Great video card.

5 out of 5 eggsIt Just Keeps Going

Pros: I have thrown everything I can at one of these and I don't think it has any limits. It just keeps going. On a more serious note I have put this video card through its paces and can't find anything wrong with it. I can literally play all games new and old on their full and highest settings. I am quite stunned at how well it works.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It's a tad bit pricey but if you want quality you pay for it. The last video card I had lasted over 5 years and that's pretty darn good considering I was able to play at the highest settings on every single video game there was until recently. Bottom line, make sure have a full size tower to house this beast, its heavy and needs room. Also it's super quiet even though I told it to run cool through the iTurbo software, which is a change from my old cards. Under a heavy load it may run around 59*c but under little or no load it runs at a nice cool 30*c with the stock cooler.
