Great for 1 day
- Pros: Installed easily. Large card but had plenty of room in case.
- Cons: Died the next day. Letters missing on POST screen and colors messed up. Wouldn't boot all the way into Windows. Galaxy Tech support had me try downgrading to driver 190.38 which was supposed to maybe fix but made no difference.
- Other Thoughts: Seems as though others have had success with their cards. Their Tech Support was very prompt and detailed in answering my questions via email so would be willing to try them again, although maybe a different card.
Good for starting out
- Pros: One of the things I like about this card is that it has quite a kick to it, even though it looks unpromising. I can run Modern Warfare 2 with everything on high, but not maxed out.
- Cons: My card got messed up on its over clocking abilities someway, so now i'm unable to over clock. Also once I installed Windows 7, and reinstalled nTune, it keeps popping up an error message saying "cannot load baseline". Its really annoying but at least it doesn't interrupt game play.
- Other Thoughts: No other thoughts besides maybe the life expentancy once you over clock this card. Heed my warning, try not to over clock a lot, you'll regret it if you don't.
Galaxy GeForce 9500 GT Review
- Pros: This card is used in a Windows XP Pro machine for GIS applications. It is responsive and installation was flawless. The installation was a large one and took some time to complete but I was patient and didn't run anything else that would interfere with it.
- Cons: Can't think of any.
