5 out of 5 eggsBest in the GALAXY !!

Pros: -Great Performance (DDR5) - especially for an older, inexpensive design/product
-Fits in small/compact case & MATX MB
-Runs cool
-Style blends in perfect with my other parts
-Customer Support is EXCELLENT

Makes my son's dual boot Hackintosh/Windows 7 machine look beautiful on his 23" LED monitor. Could not be easier to get it working properly, with full acceleration in OSX Lion & SL- and in Windows scores a very respectable 6.9, great for a 512MB older card that cost under $50 after rebate

Cons: 1GB would have been nice but not a con when you knowingly purchase a 512MB card

1 small Part of the included OC software is presented in an Asian Language (it's not a major problem, a small piece that is not a major part of the OC settings so doesnt cause any issues in functionality, would be nice if in english)

Other Thoughts: GALAXY makes my overall favorite graphics cards, due to their uncomprising mix of style, customer support, value, and performance. I build high performance PC's/Tech systems of all kinds as a profession, and glad to use Galaxy products whenever possible for a number of reasons:

Their courteous, professional, and responsive rep's (THANKS AGAIN ANDREW & TEAM!) took ownership of my problem and followed through to resolution. I couldn't ask for more from their support team!

I learned a few things about GALAXY in my recent experience:
1 - They care about their customers' perception of them
2 - They stand behind their product, and truly believe in the quality of the product, they are selling
3 - They have an active and competent US based team available and ready to assist you as needed with any product/warranty issues or inquiries
4- They make a great product!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Simply amazing. Ordered thursday recieved friday with free shipping. Warcraft player for over 4 years playing on low settings always with about 20 fps. Now with this awesome card installed in an emachines ET1337-07w on ultra FPS 60 or above. Its a whole new game with settings on ultra. TY Galaxy and TY newegg. If you need a little card with BIG bang for your buck get this you will be happy. No new psu needed too.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product Great Price

Pros: Fantastic video video card for the money. I noticed a great increase in video performance. it has GDDR5 memory and its only 60 dollars with the rebate which is worth much more than it costs. The fan isn't loud at all to me but my PC is under a desk and i always have music playing so i guess i'm just drowning it out. I upgraded my card from an intel chipset to this card. I can now run crysis on Max settings which i find fantastic seeing i couldnt even run it before. Installation was fairly easy. just snapped it in plugged it in. Downloaded drivers from NVIDIA website and it runs everything flawlessly. 512 mb isnt a HUGE amount for a card but the fact that its DDR5 and not DDR3 makes a real performance improvement.

Cons: The HDMI output and the VGA port is too close togethor i cant fit both at the same time.

Other Thoughts: All in all a fantastic card for budget users. Doesn't Overheat and i love it! Perfect for a budget gaming machine or if your kid has been begging for a new PC (me being the kid) a great upgrade to shut him up

3 out of 5 eggsGood Card, Bad Customer Service

Pros: Excellent card. Does exactly what I need it to do. Mainly, an upgrade for my mother's E521 from a 7600GT to this. Dramatic improvement in load times and the flash heavy games she likes to play.

Cons: Like other reviewers, the fan is pretty loud. She doesnt seem to mind. If I had to do it again, I would pay the extra $20 bucks for the other brand(s).

Other Thoughts: Customer service (rebates) is horrible! My rebate was denied because the rebate receipt didnt have a purchase date on it even tho the rebate form was printed and signed 2 weeks before the deadline. Also, the post mark on the letter is one week before the mail deadline. All this is posted in pdf on their site. I had read a review where Galaxy finds ANY excuse to deny a rebate claim and i took a chance any way. But, buyer beware, do not buy this just because you might (NOT) get a rebate back. Overall, the card works fine, their internal services suck

4 out of 5 eggsDecent card but loud

Pros: - Cheap (after mail-in rebate)
- Much better than on-board video (ATI HD 4200)

Cons: The fan is way too loud (by far the loudest component in my system) . I ended up disconnecting the stock fan and removing the shroud. I then zip-tied a 120mm Noctua fan (with a speed controller) to the heatsink. This makes the card virtually silent while still keeping the temperature pretty low.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this card because I was looking for a cheap upgrade from the the on-board video for my quite computer. The performance from the card is great, although I am not a gamer. Windows Experience Index jumped to 6.9 in both Aero Performance and 3D graphics. The stock fan is pretty loud. However, it was pretty easy to bypass the stock fan and add a more quite fan.
After the fan modification, the card is perfect for my non-gaming needs.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy

Pros: Price and Graphics

Cons: Driver download from Galaxy didn't work.

Other Thoughts: This card replaced a 9500 GT and there's no comparison.
The Graphics are MUCH better. We're just running an old Samsung SyncMaster CRT, and it's like we got a new monitor.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing little card

Pros: -No PCI-E power
-Runs cool and quiet
-Has a huge overclocking potential* see cons
-Not a full 2 slot height, plenty of room to breathe
-Impressive CUDA speed

In the little time I actually used it for graphics, it pushed out some impressive numbers, definitely better than the 4670 which is another PCI-E-power-less gpu. (I do own one)

Cons: -Not 1 slot height
-No PCI-E power
This was actually an issue for me. When overclocking the shaders, I would get errors even when the temp was quite low. Either this card has an aggressive power monitor that will slash everything when power usage gets too high, or it uses more power than my mobo can provide. (I have another graphics card as well)

NOTE: I bought this card and use it exclusively for cuda/physx so I was going beyond furmark stable into the realm of physx stable. Overclocking was a serious pita, but I have a very weird setup (so can't call it a proper con). No glitches, just complete failures...

Other Thoughts: Overall, I really like this card. It seems to have no heat issues whatsoever and it shows this through its ability to overclock. Used alone, I would imagine the drivers would be much more cooperative and the card overall more stable. Just keep in mind there are cards with more power in the same price range. *I got mine elsewhere on sale

I would also encourage everyone to take my review with a large handful of salt. I was using beta drivers, in an environment nvidia actively fights against (ATI primary renderer), and using it only for physx, which doesn't and cannot tax the gpu up to 100%.

To cuda or hybrid fans like myself, don't be scared, it's a fantastic gpgpu, almost certainly the most efficient. Just don't kill yourself trying to optimize everything. I spent three hours tweaking it, and I ended up 10mhz above where I started. No game currently or probably ever will use so much physx power and a few mhz here and there will hardly influence cuda apps.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!!!!

Pros: For a budget gaming card this is a great buy. Cant even hear the fan. Super quiet. Runs bioshock, dragon Age, dead space at full settings AA included. Crysis runs very high at 1600x1050 res without AA and with AA maxed out runs at 1280x1024. My monitor wont got higher than 1600 so i cant test it any higher but for what im playing it is awesome. HDMI out of the box makes everything look so good. MY Blu-rays look way better than before. Low power low heat and DDR5 makes this perfect if you do not want to upgrade your PSU

Cons: So far none other that having to mail in the rebate offer. I havnt gotten a response yet but wil see how that pans out. Wouldve been nice to get the instant rebate but oh well.

Other Thoughts: I recommend this card mainly for the price. Compared to a 9800gt the performance is less but still can out do the 9600gt with a little tweaking. But dollar for dollar it is a better buy than the 9800gt only cause your saving at least 40$ when you get the mail in rebate. and the low power consumption. OCing is limited to the pcie slot but you can get about a 20% increase blowing the 9600gt out of the water if you decide to do so. still coming in second t the 9800gt for the money i love this thing

2 out of 5 eggsIncompatible

Pros: With the offered rebate, would have been a very reasonable price for the features, if it had worked. The power requirements were minimal, and the card didn't need a direct connection to the power supply.

Cons: It appears to be incompatible with my desktop (Dell Insprion 530, with a Core 2 Quad Q6600). The BIOS would complete loading properly, but then the screen would go black as Windows began to start up. If left alone for a few minutes, it would blue screen complaining of the device driver. After trying several different versions of the Nvidia drivers, reinstalling the card, and upgrading the power supply from 350W to 500W, I concluded that the card was simply incompatible with my machine and returned it.

3 out of 5 eggsLoud Fan

Pros: The performance is great for what I paid. I was able to hook up two monitors and run games on somewhat high settings on one while leaving the other open for browsing. It was also a big productivity boost, when I wasn't distracted by the fan.

Cons: The fan is loud, it might be fine when you have game sounds or music to drown it out but I keep my computer in my living room and the fan noise was distracting when watching tv. This is when the card was at idle, because the minimum fan level is actually quite excessive.

The other problem I had was that as a combination of my case and this card, I was unable to use the VGA port and HDMI port at the same time. It isn't a matter of the card not registering them, I just can't physically get both connectors to fit.

Other Thoughts: When people make comments about the fan being "not that bad" or drowned out by music... they should queue in that it is noisy.
