It doesn’t matter, the GeForce 210 can playback any Blu Ray Movie with any modern CPU.

Gorgeous Graphics

Modern games and 3D applications demand more graphics performance than ever before and Intel integrated graphics simply aren’t good enough. Premium Windows 7 Experience

Graphics processing units (GPUs) are an essential element of today’s PCs, enabling more visual and more interactive experiences. 5 out of 5 eggsGreat Low End Card

Pros: Cheap, HDMI output, 2 monitor output

Cons: Not that powerfull, but what do you expect for the price? It's good for what it is.

Other Thoughts: I paid $50 a couple of years ago for this card. I have a home network and I use this card in my home theatre rig which mostly just streams videos and movies, and occasionally surf the web from the couch. I also play a ROM every now and then. People who rate this low because it's not capable of running the latest games or everything on high settings crack me up. This card is not meant for that, and for the price how could you think it would be? It does a great job of what it is supposed to do, which is be an effective low budget card that is better than your onboard graphics.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: I got the card for $15 because of a thirty dollar rebate last Christmas and since then it's worked perfectly fine. Its played arma 2 at very low settings at 20fps(I'm good at playing with lag). Plus this card wasn't even made to play arma 2. Although I would recommend something a bit more like a radeon 6670 with 1gb of gddr3.

Cons: I can't get it out of my case without taking out the motherboard out. It's probably a problem with the case, but it only takes a few minutes to take the mobo out.

Other Thoughts: Specs:
Phenom x4 2.8ghz
m4a8t m asus motherboard am3
8gb g skill ram 1600mhz
Galaxy geforce 210
250gb seagate hdd 7200rpm
$15 thermaltake aftermarket heatsink and fan
At first i had a 430 watt psu(corsair)
Now I have a 620watt antec neo for future upgrades

1 out of 5 eggsavoid this card

Pros: When working, this card offered a high capability. I play World of Warcraft and the texture details were great.

Cons: The card's onboard fan was on the fritze from day one. Out of the box it was making this terrible racket. I found out that the fan was hardly spinning when this was going on. Last week I guess this card finally decided it was done. It began by letting the monitor go to sleep mode and not let me get it back without a total reboot. Now, I cant even play the game without it doing this. I'm going to try the warranty to see if I can get a refund or replacement.

Manufacturer Response:

I'm sorry your fan is giving you trouble on your new card. This may be related to the crashing in your games. Please allow us to replace your card at your soonest possible convenience. If you could please email me at, I'll make sure you're taken care of ASAP.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked great at first..

Pros: Worked great at first. Boosted the Graphic's from the factory installed chip. Extremely quiet, at first.

Cons: Sadly I'm now in the process of rma. After only three months. The fan has issues similar to many cards in this price range. A loud squeal had developed right after every boot up.
At first it would stop after a while but then one day it never stopped.Even after a careful cleaning. Until the fan slowed to a crawl then the card heated up. This resulted in performance problems. Say, a totally black screen until it was shut down and cooled off.

Other Thoughts: I've read other cards by different manufactures have fan issues as well. Might be poor quality control on the part of the manufacturer of the fans. I don't know for sure, but this is such a common problem. There are workarounds of course.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible

Pros: none

Cons: makes every other program LAG. It's BEYOND terrible. I can't even do tasks without having to postpone what I am doing to wait for the programs to start responding again. Computer is MUCH faster without it.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent card

Pros: Cheap price, use it for watching movies and light video.

Cons: Drags on the few older games that tinker with.

Other Thoughts: This is the 2nd one of these have purchased from Newegg, both mainly due to 25.00 Mail in rebate to knock final price down to 30.00.

Works ok on what little video use it for on both machines at least.
