5 out of 5 eggsDecent for mid level gaming

Pros: I don't care about TV out so this VGA/DVI version is perfectly fine for me (Galaxy made like 50 derivatives of the 9500 GT). This card was in my rig for almost a year and it played every game that I expected a card at this level to play. It's not going to give you the highest detail on everything, but that's what the more expensive cards are for. The GPU runs cool, I don't hear any noises. Finally sold this because I started getting the itch to max out my games.

The card is also kind of pretty to look at.

Cons: Can't play some games at high + 1050p? That's to be expected though.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect budget card

Pros: I've purchased 3 of these exact cards from newegg.com. They are perfect for someone on a budget for some mid-level graphics on their games. The card doesn't require any additional power feeds, so you can get away with using your stock power supply.

Cons: You're not going to be able to crank up your video settings to high on any new games. But that's to be expected for the price you're paying. If you want high graphics settings, pick a $200 card or more. You get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: I'll admit that the drivers that come on the included CD are junk. Go to nvidia's site and download the proper ones. If you don't know how to install drivers, have a friend help you.

I play L4D and other games with similar graphics on almost high settings. You'll have to turn off shadows, lighting and those kinds of things. CoD Modern Warfare 2, I play on medium settings. This card is high performance to price ratio. Get 2 of them and run in SLI if you can.

Asus M3N-72d mobo
AMD Phenom II x4 810 OC to 2.9 GHz
4 GB DDR2 800 RAM
500 GB Western Digital Caviar Black

Everything purchased from Newegg.com :)

1 out of 5 eggsonly 1 DVI

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: The specs say it has 2 DVI ports. It only has one DVI, the other port is VGA. So, I haven't had a chance to boot it yet because both my monitors are DVI, and I don't have an adapter.
