5 out of 5 eggsNever a problem

Pros: Adjustable fan speed
Runs cool
Fan

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I've had this card for almost 2 years, and it has handled everything I've thrown at it so far. While I don't want to jinx myself by saying this... I have to give it props for NEVER having a BSOD since day 1. It just keeps rocking on for me.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Awesome card. I have had it for 3 years and it ran most games on high with no problem. Highly recommended if you plan on buying it used as it is discontinued on new egg.

Cons: None really. I have had the card for about 3 years with no problems.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs cool, works as intended, what more could you want?

Cons: An odd battle of cons, yes the plastic could have been anchored better or made thicker. Though in the sheer lack of materials here, we see improvements in cooling. These being in contrast to the bulkier, flashier cards that may direct air better, but retain the heat they generate. This card generates what would be expected in thermal output, but dissipates it quickly.

And as I hate to point, I have been guilty of the same things and point nonetheless.

1. This card would choke in a poorly cooled enclosed case.
-Dirt would expedite the heat buildup

2. It should not be installed in uh.... barbarianesque fashion.
-Contrary to many newer cards looking and feeling heavier.
-We all know the plug and play feeling is exhilarating.
-You will break it.

Other Thoughts: Couldn't be happier with performance, the auto fan is set pretty low, but has a surprising amount of power when tuned properly. Slightly noisy when tuned higher.

Pros: Fast and runs at a decent temp even under high strain. Have it running a 42" HDTV and a 32"Large format display and it can do pretty much anything i need/want to do.

Cons: Can be loud at times but nothing else.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace my Radeon HD 7850 which i but in another computer. Glad i upgraded and very satisfied with his card.

2 out of 5 eggsBad design,Fan blades break off from running to hot.

Pros: Great graphics. overclocking.

Cons: Running at tripple SLI is give you wonderful graphics

Other Thoughts: I bought 3 of the GTX 465 with the same design and with the cards running at tripple SLI. The bottom card throws the heat into the second card. and the second card throws the heat into the third card, the third card run hot than the other two. I had to take out the second card to leave space so it wouldn't throw the heat into the third card. it runs very hot. The fan blade started to desinigrate from the card running hot. I waited to long to return the cards, so I was stuck with them. one of the cards stop working, and now the second card is giving me problems. Saving up to buy me some new cards, will not buy Galaxy ever again

Manufacturer Response:

Hi In_Tha_Shadow,

Heat will always be an issue in SLI setups, especially in a 3-way configuration. Even the best air cooling is sometimes insufficient to keep temps low on three cards running in parallel with no spacing for proper ventilation. Regardless, if one of your cards failed from overheating, please allow us to offer you a replacement and our help in troubleshooting your heat problem. I invite you to email me at andrew@galaxytechus.com so we can work towards a solution.

Thanks!

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: The GTX570 it self is an awsome card.

Cons: First one crashed in games. RMA'd it with Galaxy.(Slipped my mind to send it back to newegg during the Christmas week.)
Second one same problem.
Dropped $1200 on a whole new computer thinking I couldn't get two bad cards in a row.
Still didnt work.
Picked up a EVGA GTX570 works fine in both machines.

Other Thoughts: I will not be buying anything from them again.

5 out of 5 eggsreliable and well built

Pros: The Card is very easy to install and fairly low power consumption compared to the new 7000 series cards and other high end Nvidia Cards... Only takes two 6 pin plugs to run it. Fan lifts up for easier cleaning which is a beautiful addition to avoid unnessesary wear and tear from pesky dust! runs extremely cool for being one of the cheapest 570's on the market! and runs my BF3 on ultra no hesitation at roughly 50-70 fps

Cons: the only con i can even imagine complaining about is that the case covering the heat sync feel relatively cheaply designed and thin plastic in general! no big deal though because its just a hands on feeling, its no thinner in reality compared to the EVGA version.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't hesitate to buy another 570 from galaxy! it's a wonderful product and for it being in a 4000 dollar gaming pc it is holding its own no problem, and thanks newegg for the fast shipping!
