1 out of 5 eggsSecond Thoughts.

Pros: Ran fine for the first few months, Played any game I threw at it

Cons: A few months in, the Case and fan melted off the rest of the card, (it was connected with tiny screws into very little plastic, who's decision was it to do that?!) and it's had very, VERY bad heat issues since. I tried to jury rig it back together (Twist ties ftw?), and that worked for a while, but now it's finally just died. The fan doesn't spin consistently- it'll spin up, then die, then repeat the process. The card hits 70c on booting, and even thinking about loading a game throws it over 100c (which is not surprising, considering the fan situation)

Other Thoughts: I had praised this card a month after I bought it. I kind of wish I didn't act so quickly.

1 out of 5 eggsGalaxy doesn't stand behind their products

Pros: Low price. Excellent card when it worked.

Cons: Four months after installing the video card, while playing a game on my computer, the graphics began exhibiting strange behaviors. I immediately exited the game and noticed the GPU was registering a temperature in excess of 90C. I had never seen the card exceed 75C at any time. I shutdown the computer and opened the case. I found the plastic fan and housing laying on a PCI card located below the GPU.

The card was never removed from the system after installation until the problem described occurred. I opened a ticket (#ZWH-293-76416) with Galaxy technical support requesting an RMA. The response I received very quickly was:

Hi William,

We regret to inform you that your request for a replacement has been denied due to physical damage - voided warranty.

I never touched the card after installation, but they refuse to replace their shoddy card. I have learned my lesson to not purchase another Galaxy product.

3 out of 5 eggsGood NOISY Graphics Card.

Pros: Excellent graphics for the price. Runs Skyrim and Shogun 2 all maxed out. Nice.

Cons: Runs really hot - fan is REALLY noisy when it's going above 90% throttle which is often since the card heats up so fast. The fan rattles at 90%+ too.

Other Thoughts: I wanted the 256-bit interface because I noticed a difference between the two cards I currently had: a 9600gtx and a 450gts. The 9600 with the 256-bit interface ran almost as well as the 450 with the 128-bit interface.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: This card is truly a bang for your buck. I purchased one for my first build and have not regretted it even slightly. I do game a bit, and jump in performance/graphical detail from my old laptop is unreal. The 560 deliver great results at a modest price.

Cons: Didn't come with two cards? Heh.

Other Thoughts: Looking for a very decent graphics card to get by for the next two years or so? The 560 is a great purchase.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card

Pros: This card was really an amazing deal for the price I paid. I purchased two to SLI into a very nice build recently, and love them to death. Everything defaults to 100% using the cards without auxillery settings, and with the use of a bridge, the SLI setup was a breeze. The fans are rather quiet, and the system stays cool without much effort. On top of that, I have been able to play several games on Maximum settings with at or better than 60 fps on low gpu combined usage (around 40-50%), including World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV, Borderlands, Dead Island, and more. I can see myself still using these cards well in 5 years' time. Well worth the buy for an SLI system. The rebate was also quick and painless, and I recieved both within a few days.

Cons: The physical installation in my tower was somewhat troublesome. These cards seemed rather bulky compared to other cards in the size range, and I needed to apply a bit of force to seat the screw properly. I'll admit, that was more poor design on the tower, but that was the only problem I've had with these cards.

Other Thoughts: Be careful, as these cards require two PCI power connections each. They work fine with 6+2 connectors, but you will need at least 4 6 or 6+2 connectors to use 2 in your system.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Great card, runs Eve Online Dual boxed on max settings at 60FPS. Great puchase, fan makes little noise and it really helps bring out the 1080p of my monitors.

Cons: Had a bit of trouble getting the Power connected in, that's a personal thing though.

Other Thoughts: If you're big into gaming and want top of the line without needed to pay 400+ dollars, go with this card. It'll do everything you can throw at it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card at a good price.

Pros: Card works well. Purchased for a customer that doesn't do a lot of gaming, mostly multimedia and rendering. So the card won't likely ever get pushed to the max.

Cons: Single fan, but it's big so it should work fine.

Other Thoughts: Comes with a mini-HDMI to HDMI adaptor that works fairely well even in the Antec Three Hundred which has recessed slots. Some of the adaptors don't work well in that case. But Galaxy included an adaptor that works fine in those cases. Kinda nice :)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat GPU

Pros: Beast in SLI. Runs anything I throw at them in Ultra settings. Single card runs most games, adjusting settings for some games except Arcania Gothica 4....but forums say that it is a glitchy game so not GPU problem IMOPO.

Cons: Only thing I dislike is the side mounted power, but i knew it getting into it....however it does provide for better airflow in my case configuration, not so much a con for me....just an eyesore.

Other Thoughts: Temps dont get above 34C on top card and 30 on bottom, under load....but may be due to cooling configuration in my case. Fans aren't loud in my setup as I'm reading in other reviews.
