5 out of 5 eggsGalaxy GTX 570

Pros: Great Graphics, Got a great deal on newegg for it. Runs Quiet, Does What its supposed to, play games.

Cons: none, it does a great job at playing games, although multi monitor setup can be a little confusing...

Other Thoughts: Catch it on sale and it is a great video card, can play current games at high resolution. Its a beast.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card, be sure it's what you want

Pros: Works great with my triple monitor setup, one monitor standalone, two working as one monitor. After the EZY display software was finally updated, I can switch between opening windows full screen on each individual monitor or opening them full screen across the two that are connected, which is great since the maximum amount of monitors you technically can have with this card is limited to two. Works great with the games that support triple monitor resolutions like Battlefield 3 and Arkham City, and is powerful enough to run them smoothly at my resolution of 3200X900. This card is also great for video software for those interested. Avid runs perfectly with the newest drivers for this card and the Adobe Creative Suite is amazing with the screen realty and cuda cores this card offers.

Cons: Since you are limited to having technically two monitors, even though the EZY software helps to make it seem like more, opening videos full screen on your monitors that are connected as one causes it to open in between the two regardless of if the EZY software is set to make them act separately or not. This is no problem if you have a third monitor hooked up as your separate monitor for watching videos. Hopefully the EZY software will continue to be updated, as it was new and working fine when I first bought the card, then didn't work at all with the newest Nvidia drivers, then was finally updated just recently to work with the newest drivers, I don't know how much I'd rely on updates on Galaxy's end. Not many games support the higher resolutions, I'm hoping more start to in the future. Some games can be fixed using software found around the internet, but don't get too excited for playing lots of games on all three monitors.

Other Thoughts: In all, I'm very happy with this card and consider it to be one of the best values you can find. I can get over not having portrait mode and only having "two" monitors since I use mine primarily for video software stretched across three monitors and occasional gaming. It just comes down to what you plan to do most on your computer and your monitor needs.

5 out of 5 eggsThoroughly Impressed By This Card

Pros: +Phenomenal Performance
Runs Battlefield 3 on Ultra without any hiccups;
52 FPS average framerate.

+Great Price (Priced the same as the 560Ti at this time of writing -- the 570 blows it out of the water).

+Multi-Monitor Support
As others have mentioned, this is not the card for you if you want to run four independent displays. The 3+1 designation means that this card will allow you to share the same image over three displays making a 48:9 (or 12:3 in standard def) aspect ratio instead of three separate displays. In addition to that, you may have ONE independent display. I hope this clears things up.

+Length
At only 9.95", this is a great card for smaller cases.

Cons: -Temperature
Due to such an aggressive factory overclock, the temps are higher than what some are used to. After stress testing for over 4 hours, I peaked at 81°C. With a maximum operating temperature of 97°C, this card is built to handle higher temps. I stress tested this in a fairly medium-sized office with an initial temperature of 68°C. On return, the room temperature soared to 79°C. Anticipate this if you plan on running wide open for extended durations.

-Fan
When temps begin to soar this fan starts to roar, and roar it does. After the card broke 75°C, it was no-holds barred. The fan produced a high-pitched whine for a few moments, similar to a turbo charger, then ran at full blast with a surprisingly quiet profile. Speeds ranged from ~1,000 RPM all the way up to 7,500 RPM under full load.

-Mini HDMI

Other Thoughts: Badge (sticker)
This unit was not packaged with an Nvidia badge.

5 out of 5 eggsFacts

Pros: Really Impressive factory Overclock.
All the display connections you could want!
Fast!
3+1 mode is great for 3 monitors displaying as one for gaming and then having the 4th for your web surfing needs.
Tech support responded within 24 hours via email for a question I had for registering the card.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: For all the previous reviewers' sake -
***It runs hot because its factory overclocked:
732MHz is stock clock - this runs at 800MHz(verified upon receipt)***
***It doesn't do 4 monitors as 1, it does a 3 +1 mode that links 3 screens together and 1 separate screen. The 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 mode is for 4 screens each showing a separate desktop.**** Hopefully this clarifies some of the misunderstandings in the previous reviews.
**** If the price is right, buy this card! It is solid performance and you won't go wrong.*****

2 out of 5 eggsWon't Achieve Target Resolution in Linux

Pros: Fast

Cons: Doesn't seem to be able to achieve the target resolution even with three brand new led monitors. I end up with 20 px short of making the display stretched, and I cannot force it to the correct resolution with three monitors as the primary display. I can get 5760x1055 which is stretched instead of what it promises on the box 5760x1080.

For me it doesn't make it worth the price.

Other Thoughts: Works well for 2+1 display, but not 3+1. I wanted to run the latest version of Ubuntu 12.04 with this. Ubuntu has taken two steps back with multiple video cards the previous versions supporting them, but the quest for 'Unity' desktop has broken that support.

I bought this card in hopes to treate three monitors as one, but the best it will detect is two monitors as one.

4 out of 5 eggsMeh, but still good.

Pros: 4 DVI ports, stable, can do as advertised and give you a multi monitor gaming experience that is pretty decent. It is, after all a GTX 570 and well so be it. Nifty tuner software and MDT software.

Cons: Website is crawl slow, MDT doesn’t work w/o using their drivers (crawl slow to download) It is MDT, that is you get only two “windows monitors.” So say if you are running 4 monitors. You can do something like A+B+C is one monitor and D is the other one. Then use their MDT software (or any splitting software) to get the effect of multiple monitors but it’s not a true 4 port display. They claim 1+1+1+1 as a display mode but that’s only via split software. It also runs Hot, but nothing crazy. Still in spec.

Other Thoughts: Not bad all and all. If you want to do some three screen gaming on a budget this should be on the list of things to consider.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card/Customer Service Needs Improved

Pros: Great GPU, Good Price, plays battlefield 3 and sniper elite v2 on max/ultra settings no problem.

Cons: None about the card.

Other Thoughts: Customer Service needs a little work, try to register it and after completion it says to finish registration an email will be sent with a link to confirm email, never got it after 2 attempts. Tried to reset password it says an email will be sent with new password, never got email again. Not in junk mail either. Says my email is not registered, so i try and reregister and it says email is already used. Either it is or it isn't, i wonder which????

3 out of 5 eggsMeh, not for me

Pros: Is probably a really strong card if you actually take advantage of the multi displays and can get over the cons

Cons: -1 Egg for heat, it gets really hot even on a single monitor
-1 Egg for noise, the fan gets VERY loud

Other Thoughts: Installed to play SWTOR on high settings, 1080p res on one monitor display, stock voltage, no overclocking. This card got very hot and really loud, I could hear it through my headset. I checked my MSI Afterburner charts and it said the temps were in the 70s and the fan speed was pushing 80%. Switched SWTOR to Medium settings and it didn't help much. My GTX 460 OC can run SWTOR better, sadly :(
