2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card for the price.
Works well in several distros of linux as well as in windows.

Cons: Fan is already dying on me.
Sounds like some of the bearings are shot, sounds like a motorcycle starting up.

Other Thoughts: I tried to sign up on the galaxy website to rma my card, but the service does not seem to work. I can't even get past the register page.
If I could get a card with a working fan, then I would bump up to 5 stars.

1 out of 5 eggsGalaxy RMA Support is terrible.

Pros: When it was working, it was a fine little card. Faster than the built in motherboard Intel VGA.

Cons: It had thermal problems and would lock up my system. Big box fan on the open case solved it. I tried to RMA it with Galaxy, but they seem to offsorced their support to people who can't fix the RMA registration site, and who refuse to anser email. When I called in, they told me they use the same site, and it is down, and to keep trying. I asked that they take my information down and call me back. Between that and emails, I have still not received a RMA number. This has been going on since June 2012, over 3 months. Warranty and support don't work if they never answer you.

Other Thoughts: I am not a gamer, so it was fine for Aero, and other CUDA lite stuff I did.

1 out of 5 eggs8 Months

Pros: Worked ok, low profile

Cons: DEAD.. fan died in less than a year.

Other Thoughts: Granted it was less than $30 but really, a card that dies less than a year old... last time I buy anything from Galaxy

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent RMA support

Pros: Very efficient low power GPU, great for HTPC or low end gaming. Nvidia cuda support.

Excellent RMA process.

Cons: Original card failed quick but RMA'd unit is working nicely so far.

Other Thoughts: I wrote my original two star review a few months back because of how quickly the fan failed. I then followed up with Andrew's response. He helped get the bad card replaced under RMA VERY quickly. Best support I've seen yet.

5 out of 5 eggsSeems to work fine

Pros: I put this in a nice little AMD quad system I built for a friend who doesn't game at all. I ran it for a week and it worked just great then I gave it to her. No complaints at all..it does what it's supposed to do.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It worked fine.

2 out of 5 eggsFan is Terrible

Pros: Very efficient low power GPU, great for HTPC or low end gaming. Nvidia cuda support.

Cons: Fan is a disappointment. The fan started doing the same loud squealing as others mentioned after only a few months of light usage. I've never seen a fan fail so quickly...

Other Thoughts: Rebate arrived pretty quick so at least it didn't cost much.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Bobby,

I'd like to offer my help in making sure your 210 is replaced as quickly as possible. Your card is still well under warranty; have you applied for an RMA just yet? Please shoot me an email at andrew@galaxytechus.com and I'll whatever I can to make things right.

Thanks,

Andrew Fischer

3 out of 5 eggsOk... for the price

Pros: Cheap
HDMI

Cons: Fan is very loud and already squealing. Would like an aftermarket, but not finding much luck finding one that might fit.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

Sorry to hear the fan on your new 210 is giving you trouble. Users shouldn't have to replace the fan themselves just to make the card run the way it was intended. I'd like to offer you a replacement for your card as an alternative. Please let me know and I'll help make it happen.

Thanks,

Andrew Fischer

2 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Price. Less than $100

Cons: Cheap fan. After about 3 months, the fan started to stick. It[fan] was creating a terrible noise. I had to remove the card and just go back to my standard video card. Will eventually purchase a fan or replace the entire unit.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy just because of the cheap price. Get a quality card.

Gave it two eggs for:
1. Easy to install
2. Price

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Blackhawk1,

I'd like to apologize for the failure of your graphics card and offer to help in any way I can to make things right. Please email me directly at andrew@galaxytechus.com and I'll make sure your card is replaced post haste. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Thanks,

Andrew Fischer

4 out of 5 eggsWorks, but noisy

Pros: Cheaper than dry beans
Works out of the box
No Problems as of yet

Cons: The only real con here is that the fan is pretty noisy, but when I was watching TV, I could not hear the fan over the tv. This was used in a HTPC.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: cheap
quiet
low power
can actually play games

Cons: doesn't play games well

Other Thoughts: Card was advertised as new, but it's clearly been opened. There was a second tamper seal on the box right over the first and the protective plastic had been pulled off half of the fan cover over the fan.
