A true heavy weapon for serious gamers, the Galaxy 68NPH6DT6EXZ GeForce GTX 680 SOC White Edition graphics card delivers monstrous game-changing performance to dominate the most intense competition. Based on the fastest and most power efficient GPU ever built by NVIDIA - the 28nm Kepler architecture, this card features 1536 CUDA Cores with 2GB/256-bit GDDR5 memory. This Super Overclocked (SOC) edition is substantially factory overclocked to 1202MHz Base Clock/1267MHz Boost Clock – roughly 20% higher than reference specification, bringing you greatly improved gaming prowess without costing too much. No need to worry about the cooling even under so amazing frequency, quad nickel-plated heatpipes with custom triple-fan ensures efficient, quiet cooling that allows you to game in complete peace of mind. With support for all the premium GTX gaming technologies such as NVIDIA Surround, 3D Vision, PhysX and SLI, the Galaxy GeForce GTX 680 GC 4GB gives you more than one way to elevate your experience.

  • newegg GeForce GTX 680 SOC White Edition Beyond NVIDIA's reference card, the Galaxy 68NPH6DT6EXZ GeForce GTX 680 SOC White Edition features 1202MHz Base Clock/1267MHz Boost Clock which is about 20% higher than reference design of 1006MHz Base Clock/1058MHz Boost Clock, achieving a remarkable performance boost you can feel in actual gaming. The fully-redesigned white PCB makes your card stand out immediately, and quad nickel-plated heatpipes with high-efficiency triple-fan cooler keep your video card running cool and stable even during the most challenging condition.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.

1 out of 5 eggsToo high clock rates advertised

Pros: If the card would hold their stock boost clock 1267MHz stable it would be nice.

Cons: As soon as the card reach the 1267Mhz in any 3D aplication the driver crash. Reproducible! Lowering the clock-offset with Precision X tool about 10 MHz helped. I wrote to Galaxy support and they gave me a BIOS update which do exactly the same. Limit boost clock to 1254Mhz for stable operation.

But then why I paid more money for stock OC clock rates the card will never reach stable?

I think with this card Galaxy has overshot the capabilities of the GK104.

3 out of 5 eggsCoil Whine

Pros: Beautiful card. Lights look great in my case. White PCB is BA.

Cons: It came with a bad coil whine. I figure you spend $569 on a graphics card. The quality control should be better. Too bad looks aren't everything.

Other Thoughts: Had to rma. I'm pretty disappointed. Seems if i stray from Asus , Gigabyte or Sapphire I get an rma.

5 out of 5 eggsLovely

Pros: I'm coming from using my 27" iMac as my main gaming comp. that uses a 6970M, and that played Crysis on 1080 at ~30FPS. This card is SO much better. I'm cutting through Crysis at 60+ FPS. I used my iMac for so long I felt like that was just the standard for performance and this card is so far beyond, I feel like I'm cheating. My card is 1201 MHz and 1267 MHz turbo.

Cons: The outputs are 3 mini hdmis and that's just stupid. It comes with an adapter that makes the cord sag on the outlet of the card.

Other Thoughts: I've got the NZXT Phantom with an i7 and my system runs at around 31*C and 62*C under heavy load. Everything about this performs amazingly. The outputs are the only thing wrong with this are the outputs.

5 out of 5 eggsFastest GTX 680 on the market!

Pros: ++Binned Chip, 1305MHz out of box
++Max OC of 1340MHz, and +500 memory
++67c Max observed temp when gaming
++Faster and cheaper than Lightning and Classified
++Dual Bios
++Thin card

Cons: -Fans get loud over 65%
-Still expensive
-Not a fan of 3 mini HDMI, 1 display port
-Flimsy double DVI adapters
-No unlocked software voltage

Other Thoughts: These cards are fast out of the box. If you don't want to risk and get a low OC card, this will run at a minimum of 1267+, but most are hitting 1300MHz or more. Dual Bios safe mechanism. If one BIOS fails because of reflash or other reason, it will revert to secondary. L2N overclockers were able to push this card over 1600MHz using the "OC panel and higher voltage, which is not available for sale.

It also has a pulsating LED engraving on side.
Uses two 8 pin connectors for power.
White PCB. Very long card.
Fans quiet while idling.

Ran some benchmarks:

3DMark11: Basic P setting graphics score of 11899
Heaven on everything MAX@1080p: Score 1385, 55.4 fp/s

This is a very fast card, and while it may not have voltage control, such as Lightning, it is cheaper, and performs extremely well. I would love to see a custom BIOS, and see what this card can do. I hope this was somewhat helpful.

3 out of 5 eggsSLI!

Pros: I have two of these now in SLI in my alienware aurora R3! Lol don't ask how I got them to fit let's just say major surgery with a skill saw:) 3Dmark11 graphics score is 20987!

Cons: Had 2 crashes thus far. Seems to happen when the cards are pushed to there absolute limit. I'm sure this will be corrected when the drivers mature.

Other Thoughts: 2 of these puppies run like a scalded ape. Just needs better drivers.

5 out of 5 eggsFast Cool Sleek & Sexy

Pros: This thing is Silent as the grave. It stays really cold around 56 Max on stock and idles at 32c. Ati tool gets 4700 fps max on stock so its about 38% faster then my old Gtx 480 on 825Mhz. Whats even better is it uses wayyyyy less power and is a lot cooler. Plays battlefield 3 on ultra no less then 60 Fps, I don't play above 60fps so i don't know how much higher it'll go. No need to overclock it at all yet. also goes good on z77 boards with Ivy bridge CPU.

Cons: It doesn't make french fries.

Other Thoughts: I love it it beats the heck outta my 480 , I mean my Furnace

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!!

Pros: I use this card to work, as a designer I was looking for a good card with nice OC and good heat dissipation, it's a thin card so that save me a slot. Knock on wood!! No crash with any games even in 1320 MHz, at full capacity can hit 69 - 71 C. I'm going to render a big project soon in After Effect and I will post if the card melted lol.

Cons: The mini HDMI connectors was a nice decision to make the card thin, but if you have 3 monitors like me, get some extra connectors because this card bring just 1.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality, Poor OC

Pros: Good looking card. Runs quiet in idle, and I couldn't hear the card under load. It ran in mid 30's Celsius in idle and never went over 64c when benching. Scored a 10457 graphics score out of the box in 3DMark11 Basic. Very loud when fans kick in high like others mentioned.

Cons: Using Galaxy's XtremeTuner you can slide the voltage to 1.3v, but it won't apply it. Mine crashed constantly with driver errors. Won't overclock at all. I managed 1315MHz maximum, card boosted to 1301MHz out of box. Too expensive for poor performance. Managed a 50.9 fps in Heaven on everything max with a score of 1278. Galaxy support is non existent as of this writing.

I have to RMA a $570 card? Jeez...

Manufacturer Response:

Hello DH,

I'm sorry to hear you're dissatisfied with the performance of our support team and your GTX 680 SOC. Although many are capable of achieving clocks that far exceed the factory OC, please understand that every GPU's potential is different and not every card will be capable of reaching record speeds. Still, it sounds like you're having difficulties with our overclocking software, and I'd like to help troubleshoot. Our tech support is very knowledgeable on our products, but is not able to provide overclocking support due to the associated risks. That being said, if you could please email me at I'll do my best to help you out with any questions or difficulties you're experiencing.

1 out of 5 eggsGalaxy 68NPH6DT6EXZ GeForce GTX 680

Pros: My 3Dmark 11 went from 6609 to 10757.

Cons: Card was defective needed to RMA, pixilation in all 3d marks and random crashes every 5 to 10 minutes in BF3. Tried reseating card, 2 different drivers, but nothing worked. I hope second one works.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Dunlin1,

I'd like to apologize for the problems you experienced with your new card. The GTX 680 SOC is built with absolute top quality parts and cutting edge design, but anything man-made can fail no matter how well it's made. Please let me know if you're not 100% satisfied with your replacement, and don't hesitate to ask if there's any other way I can be of service. You can reach me by emailing
