The Galaxy GTX 670 is custom fitted with the Galaxy exclusive Force Air Bracket for improved airflow and better cooling. The 1344 core GTX 670 GPU lies at the heart of this card which includes support for cutting edge features such as GPU Boost, a revolutionary technology that automatically increases GPU clock speeds to maximize performance and efficiency for each individual game and application. Adaptive Vsync technology provides the smoothest gaming experience possible by automatically adjusting refresh rates in real time. Up to 4 displays can be simultaneously connected across the card’s flexible assortment of outputs and, as you would expect from the latest performance Galaxy graphics cards, the GTX 670 fully support 3D Vision, PhysX, and DirectX 11.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready2 NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology4. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat GPU!

Pros: Just bought this card to SLI with the same model that I already owned. My perfermance in the games that I play most have nearly doubled.

Cons: Cooler could be a little bit better.

Other Thoughts: This card is always out of stock now so I happy that i got one in time.

4 out of 5 eggsIts a GTX 670, its powerful, cheaper model, good GPU

Pros: * GTX 670
* Great for SLI
* normally found for a great price
* Can run most any game

Cons: * Not a Gigabyte, EVGA, or ASUS
* VRam gets a little toasty if you OC
* Stock cooler
* Short PCB (preferance)

Other Thoughts: I found this on some crazy sale for almost $300 flat when GTX 670s were still fairly new.
I was already running a Gigabyte Windforce 670 under a custom loop, and was looking for a second 670 to run SLI.
Since I planned on putting the card under water and it was a second in series of SLI, I was not concerned for the most part, of what brand or spec it was going to be.
The card works great for the price. I have it watercooled and overclocked to all hell. It took the OC fine, and takes the heat, benching, and abuse I throw at it perfectly, and it is almost a year later now...
The VRam gets a little hot to me, but only starts to show an issue, or cause artifacting when I get out of control with my OCs...
I can beat GTX 690s in benchmarks with this and another card under water. And can run anything, like BF4 on ultra settings, everything maxed, at 80fps (1080p mind you)
If you get this at a deal of a price, I wouldn't be wary of it. It's served me very well. A GTX 670 is a GTX 670.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: It runs games on high.

Cons: major fps drops

Other Thoughts: The video card runs games on the highest quality but does not give me solid 60 fps nor a solid 50 at least. On bf3 on ultra settings i get about 25-45 fps. First i thought it was my processor that was bottlencking the card but i have tested the card on 3 deffierent systems one including the i5-2500k at 4.5ghz and i still get 25-45 fps. I have come to belive its the card and i have issued an RMA, so hopefully i get a better card this time.

1 out of 5 eggsBad card and even worse support

Pros: Card seemed great until the bad started.

Cons: Im writing this on behalf of my brother, because I feel that buyers need to be warned. I recently build a new high end gaming pc. My brother also built a new high end htpc. He bought this card for 359.00 with a 20 dollar rebate. Once he received the card he sent off for his rebate roughly a week or two after he got the card. the rebate required him to mail in the upc code on the cards packaging. Well soon the card went bad. He started getting glitches and sound issues. He calls newegg for customer support and guess what they tell him. Since he no longer has the original upc they cannot replace the defective card. $359.00 bucks and less than thirty days later they wont replace it. Shame on you Newegg. screwing people out of their hard earned money. My brother then has to contact the manufactuer to hopefully get it replaced. To his surprise and mine he has to ship it to them at his expense. (around 12 dollars) They have the card for about two weeks before sending it back to him. Much to our shock they send him back the same card saying its been repaired. Now im sorry but when you buy something as expensive as a video card you should in my mind receive a new and properly functioning product. Now the card is having the same issues as though it wasnt fixed and 5 emails and numerous call attempts he's left with a defective card and an inability to replace the card. Someone please explain to me how this is fair buisness. I myself have spent around 2000.00 with newegg in the past couple months for my build not to mention what my brother spent. I myself will not buy products any further from newegg after seeing how "important" their customers are to them. This is a Shame. Just want to warn you folks to beware of your rebate. I dont understand how your supposed to send off for it while maintaining the comfort and ability to rma your product when a problem arises. Newegg has dropped the ball on this one and so has galaxy. Way to go guys.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card

Pros: I've been using this card since it was released last year, this card is the bomb. It works flawlessly its super quiet I have had no issues and I bought it the day it was released.

Cons: To register for the warranty it takes a few weeks and can be up to a month, its kind of a joke. I have not had to RMA so I'm not sure how that works, but to register it takes forever. So if you buy the card register it immediately and if you have an issue with your card try to return to Newegg first.

Other Thoughts: Don't listen to these people about a noisy whine from the fan, if you have this issue return it. I have no noisy whine at all and even when playing Battlefield 3 or Crysis 3 at full tilt the card is barely noisy at all. Yes the fan does spin faster, and it makes more noise but its not a whine nore is it high pitch, it just sounds like a fan spinning faster.

I highly recommend this card, its so cheap now I might buy a second for SLI

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked right out of the box. It is more quiet and produces much less heat than my previous 2X GTX 280s.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card- Cheap Price

Pros: Runs every game i have thrown at it with above 60+ FPS, Easy Setup, Everything from the Witcher 2 to Crysis 2 or even Planetside 2 runs flawless. Battlefield 3 runs maxed out on even heavy scenes during multiplayer and keeps on going.

Cons: Overclocking is limited with this card but at the low price point its very easy to pick up another for SLI.

Other Thoughts: First computer i have built in over 10 years and this card burns through all the top titles with no problems. i can see in a few years having to either upgrade or get second card to run in SLI to stay competitive with Higher end titles in the future but at that point im sure the price point will have dropped by a large margin. With the power difference between this and the gtx 680 being so small... around 5% with reference cards. anybody who wants power and affordability should go with this card.

2 out of 5 eggsGet a card with a custom cooler

Pros: The card performs as expected: namely, it's fast and will run anything you like at high detail levels. The built-in cooler keeps things at or below 80c without straining.

Cons: The reference GTX 670 cooler suffers from an unfortunate and annoying whine that is the loudest thing in my system; easily audible over 3 case fans, the CPU fan, and the power supply fan all packed inside a case with noise dampening foam. My much older GTX 260 does not suffer from this problem, and neither does any other component!

My first Galaxy GeForce GTX 670 was DOA (artifacts even while POSTing); I was able to exchange it for a working one, but if you notice any problems, don't wait to get them fixed.

Other Thoughts: The whine of the fan/shroud combo annoyed me enough that I bought an aftermarket VGA cooler to fix the problem. Given how painful it is to replace the cooler, I do not recommend this procedure unless you're already stuck with this card or one like it.

If you care at all about your machine's acoustics, purchase a different model of this card that does not use the reference nVidia cooling solution, or you will regret it. I certainly did.

2 out of 5 eggsGood card, AWFUL support

Pros: When my card was working, I could literally run anything on nearly the highest, if not the highest settings at 1920x1080. The GTX 670 2gb card is a monster for the money. If you're debating, I'd definitely buy one, just not this specific one, or any one from Galaxy. Buy this chip, just not this brand.

Cons: I've had my card since launch day, and up until about 3.5 weeks ago it worked perfectly. I loved playing games on it because it looked amazing and was so fast. The card looked amazing in my case (matched my color scheme!). But then I started to get artifacts and flickering on my display just sitting at the Windows desktop. Now I know any new product has a chance to die. That's not why I am giving this a bad review. If it had died and been replaced I'd have no issue.
The reason this gets 2 eggs is the support (or lack thereof) from Galaxy. I have called or emailed them 12 times now over the last 3 weeks. I have received exactly 2 responses from customer service and 0 from RMA. DO NOT BUY A GALAXY CARD. If it dies you are on your own with a $400 brick. That's seriously all my card is good for now. I had to revert to a friend's GTX 250 which can barely even run the games I used to play, but it's better than not being able to play them. So, in short, buy a GTX 670, but not a Galaxy card.

5 out of 5 eggsEasiest GPU installation ever

Pros: This GPU is possibly the easiest installation I've ever had. I used to be dedicated to ATI/AMD, but after a long string of various glitches and issues, I found myself tiring of the work to keep them running happy.

I jumped to NVIDIA with this card, and I couldn't be happier. I know, ATI still makes a good product, but it's never been quite as simple to deal with as I've just experienced with this card. I now have a system that required literally no extra work after installation, and was surprised at the seamless performance.

I don't think I'm going back to ATI, not if this experience is common for NVIDIA products. I look forward to not having to work around the same foibles ATI cards had.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I used ATI for years, but always faced little glitches, installation issues, settings adjustments to make games work, inconsistent performance between games, etc.

After installing this NVIDIA card, I found it just about as trouble-free as I'd hoped ATI would have been. I'm not going back.
