2 out of 5 eggsbad fan...

Pros: Cheap (I got this from another dealer on sale)., Improved my overall PC performance in a HP DC5750 Small form factor which had a very low watt (250 watt) power supply. Run cool for me. temps average 33 to 37 idle, 47 to 60 in games like GTA IV, actually does well for semi newer games. (I've only played mmos, GTA IV, C&C games) was very quiet while the fan was good

Cons: I bought this in January, The Fan has a bad bearing now and sounds like a swarm or bees or grinding on and off during the time its on. couldn't register it for the warranty because the Quality control didn't check to make sure the serials were on the card ,,OR THE BOX! so I'm out of luck there.

Other Thoughts: This is my first experience with this brand, it could be I just got the bad seed card out of the good ones, it happens so I won't judge Galaxy based on one experience, however. in peace of mind. when I replace this one ( if I do replace it) I'm probably going to go with an Asus fan less or the like. and just run an external fan on it. (or disconnect this fan and run a external fan on this card).

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card, Great price

Pros: Is able to run most games at Medium+ on my 1920x1080. This card is no 690, but it will get what you need done as long as you're not constantly pushing it to the max.

Cons: The fan is slightly noisy, and the card itself was somewhat of a tight fit.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Service

Pros: When it worked. It was OK for what it was. I do very little gaming, cards, word games, reading ,things like that.

Cons: I have been working with Galaxy Customer Service .What a joke I received this card as a gift and have no proof of purchase or invoice I am stuck with a card that no longer works. I have purchased Galaxy in the past but never again after this mess. Should have ask for BFG
brand instead

Other Thoughts: I will never have anything to do with Galaxy again Customer Service .What service !!! Without us they would be out of business

3 out of 5 eggsDecent card but noisy

Pros: Bought it, honestly, because it had a blue fan and an HDMI input.

Cons: very noisy but i guess since it actually works then it deserves at least 3 eggs. the fan on this card is louder than the 2 case fans, and the CPU fan combined.

Other Thoughts: looks nice, sounds bad

1 out of 5 eggsPossible Flaw

Pros: Cheap card with a high end chipset. Nvidia driver support is great.

Cons: Replaced a Geforce 210 512MB with this card and it had no change in the windows experience index. I had little to no improvement from this card in both performance or quality. VGA port displays wavy lines when displaying the color grey. See other thoughts for details.

Other Thoughts: This is not proven fact I am simply stating my experience with this card. My experience is what happened to me and does not necessarily dictate what you will experience.

I sent the 1st card back due to the VGA port displaying wavy lines anytime the color grey on the screen. I tried 2 VGA cables 2 monitors and 2 separate computers. When I got the new card sent to me it had the same exact issue, with the VGA port. I then tried different resolutions. Some resolutions were less noticeable but as a designer I could not forgive this. I am instead using the HDMI and DVI port for my dual screen setup and it is fair. The only reason I didn't send it back for a refund is I can not afford to be without a video card for another week. I have to get work done!
