Built from the same DNA as its bigger brothers, GTX 680, the GeForce GTX 670 brings the performance and features of 28nm Kepler architecture to a more affordable price point. The GTX 670 comes with 1344 CUDA cores and a base clock of 915 MHz, slightly lower than the GTX 680, but is essentially identical in all other aspects. The Galaxy GeForce GTX 670 GC version graphics card is factory overclocked at 1006MHz and equipped with super-efficient dual fan cooler for more amazing and stable performance. And the breakthrough NVIDIA GPU Boost technology pushes the performance to the limit by intelligently increasing clock speed based on actual work load. An array of NVIDIA exclusive technology, such as NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync for stuttering- and tearing-free gaming, NVIDIA Surround with up to four monitors, two new Anti-aliasing modes of FXAA and TXAA, NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready, and NVIDIA PhysX Technology works in concert to ensure you get the most immersive and impressive gaming experience.

Galaxy has once again taken every opportunity to enhance performance in the specially engineered redesign of the GTX 670 GC, which features the same high-end custom PCB and dual-fan cooler found in the Galaxy GTX 680 GC. The latest advances in PCB design make possible a factory overclock, and the high efficiency cooler keeps the card running at low temps with whisper-quiet operation.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

4 out of 5 eggsVery happy with it

Pros: Performs extremely well as expected based on external reviews of the card and the chipset. Runs every one of my somewhat current games at high quality, high resolution and always smooth. Basically, I have not been disappointed by anything it's done yet. 5 eggs.

Cons: The price went up since I bought it, so SLI is gonna have to wait for awhile.

Physics performance was pretty weak until I installed one of my old 8800s as a PhysX -only card. -1 egg, just because.

Other Thoughts: Graduated from dual 8800GTs. Huge improvement.

4 out of 5 eggsgood cards

Pros: Running 2 in SLI. Fast from factory, BUT galaxy xtreme tuner allowed fairly easy overclock (with some trial and error to get them stable). run very cool. One card can handle just about any game at highest settings, two can handle anything, period. I've got them running 1900x1060 or something on my flat screen and they handle any game i throw at them on the highest settings with no drop in frame rate.

Cons: Sometimes the top half of the screen goes black when they play video within a game, not sure of the issue. Big cards, make sure you can fit them in your rig, they're about a foot long. Kind of expensive.

1 out of 5 eggs6 Month Life Span

Pros: It was a wonderful card until it died. I was very pleased with the performance of this card in all my games until it started to glitch out.

Cons: After having using this card for 6 months nearly the day, I started to experience a glitch when gaming where in my monitors would flicker then return. But the games graphics would appear very low detailed and run sluggish regardless of the actual settings. To correct this I would have restart my system only for it to happen again.

The card was at it's factory defaults as I had no real need to tweak any thing as I was happy with it's performance as is. Monitoring the thermal output reveal nothing abnormal. If I was to theory craft some I would think that card's memory was corrupted some how. I even tried switching the card with another system and issue followed the card.

Upon review of the warranty, Galaxy demands that I have the original packaging, which I don't have so I guess I am out of luck

Other Thoughts: I should have reviewed the warranty restrictions and kept my packaging. Live and learn I guess.

1 out of 5 eggsGTX670

Pros: Expensive video card

Cons: Video card family has a serious hardware wink and blink problem when attempting to operate at reasonable bandwidth. When gaming online or even attempting to watch DVD videos, card halts, blanks the screen, then restarts1 second later. Newer drivers simply cause computer to lock, requiring reboot. Other gamers have noted this serious bug.

Other Thoughts: Skip the GTX670 family and wait for the hardware fixed chipset next year. No help from Galaxy or Nvidia for support as they all know it is hardware related.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card.

Pros: Got a single card for my new build, here is what it can do:
Skyrim - MAXED with tons of mods (including custom enb)
Crysis 2 - MAXED
Assassins Creed 3 - MAXED
Crysis 3 - HIGH settings (but that ok, its freaking crysis 3)

Need i say more?

Cons: Its not a TITAN

Other Thoughts: All gamed were played in 1080p (1920x1080) at 60hz. The only game where i have seen this card drop below 30fps is crysis 3 at max settings. And if you are debating getting the 2gb version - DON'T the 4gb is more than worth the extra $50 and it will help future proof your PC a little better.

5 out of 5 eggsstill the best vid card for the buck

Pros: stable and sweet over time. takes all games easily, much better choice than sli in its class. I traded 2 560 gtx 2 gig products in for this card and the stability and heat issues are gone. the card is not too long and fits in my case. also quieter and less power consumption

Cons: galaxy is not respected as a top vendor but times are a changing I would like a 512 buffer though

5 out of 5 eggsYes please.

Pros: Oh yes I love it. It was worth every penny.

Cons: The only downside is that the Titan class comes out this month. The 700 series that is.
And I imagine the price will drop at that point, to make room for the new tier of GPU's.
The equivalent of this one in the 700 series appears to have 1gb more ram, and roughly 1000 more CUDA cores.

So if you can wait, I'd recommend you do so, and save for that new 700 class of GDDR5 gpu. To be honest though, this card is more than I am even going to be able to use, and I'm glad I bought it, despite the aforementioned.

5 out of 5 eggsJust FYI!

Pros: I have not yet received the card but I will rewrite this review when I do. I am writing this to warn others buying the card right now.

DO NOT SHIP WITH FED-EX!

Fed ex will hand off your package to the Us Postal Service and add an additional 2-3 days to your shipping. The package will have taken over a week to be delivered by the time I receive it. A total rip off and extremely frustrating.

Cons: Fed Ex Shipping is a joke.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card!

Pros: Easy to install and setup

Cons: I wish I bought 2

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from a 470GTX. Big improvements. Setting up surround with 3 24" monitors was easy. I love this card. Saving up to buy another one

4 out of 5 eggsCoil Whine

Pros: This card is great, hands down. Big step up from my HD 5870.

Cons: I've been noticing a lot of loud humming and ticking, or "coil whine" lately while playing games. This is concerning considering I've only had the card a little over a week.

Other Thoughts: I was hoping to get some kind of feedback from someone at Galaxy through writing this review, as well as making a point of giving my feedback. 2 birds with 1 stone. At any rate, if a representative doesn't contact me through this post, I'll go to their support system itself.
