The Galaxy GeForce GTX 650 GC 1GB version graphics card is factory overclocked at 1110MHz which is 52MHz higher than the reference card. It offers mainstream PC gamers access to the latest advances in GPU technology and excellent gaming performance at an incredible price.  The improved power handling and ultra-silent cooling of Galaxy’s custom design deliver quieter and more realiable operation with increased energy efficiency. An array of NVIDIA exclusive technologies, such as NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync for stuttering- and tearing-free gaming, NVIDIA Surround with up to three monitors (This card has one mini HDMI port and two DVI ports), Anti-aliasing modes of TXAA, NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready, and NVIDIA PhysX Technology works in concert to ensure you get the most immersive and impressive gaming experience.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology enables a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To three Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: As an upgrade from a GT 520, the performance difference was akin to switching from a butter knife to a heated steak knife for cutting a stick of butter.

The card remains exceptionally cool and the design is pretty sexy too. It's even got multi-monitor support!

Cons: Not a 760? Lol.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for an inexpensive upgrade, get this, it's got amazing price/performance.

1 out of 5 eggs terrible

Pros: None

Cons: Crashes freezes and FPS drops down like crazy overheats I think I got a defective card.

Other Thoughts: Galaxy RMA department is terrible.

Manufacturer Response:

I'm sorry your having problems with your new card. The GTX 650 GC, when operating normally, should be one of the coolest running GTX series cards around, so it does indeed sound like you might need an replacement. What sort of problems are you having with our RMA department? If you can email me at and let me know what the issue is, I'll be happy to look into your case and make sure everything's resolved as quickly as possible.

5 out of 5 eggsSWEETNESS

Pros: It handles everything without a problem. I have no heat issues with the card. I can play GW2 at the highest setting with no lag during any of the Dragon fights. I would recommend this to anyone.

Cons: Have yet to find any.

Other Thoughts: I have this runnning with a AMD FX-6200 CPU 8 GB memory on an ASUS MB and windows 8.

4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Performs surprisingly well for a bottom of the line 600 Series card.
Low power draw / heat output

Cons: Rebate card seems to missing... although this could be a pro because now I don't have to wait for the rebate to never show up.

Other Thoughts: Rebates may have once been a legit manufacturer incentive but those days are over. The rebates on offer now are all just lies. If you want to lower the price then lower it. Don't toy with me.

4 out of 5 eggsGood replacement for ailing video card

Pros: Short video card. Plays Rappelz smoothly @ 1650 x 1050 where my Radeon 6670 would crash freqently (thus the replacement). Card is factory OCed which helps me as I don't OC by default.

Cons: None so far

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the price

Pros: Very good card, much better from my last, as I upgraded to this. No problem playing Far Cry 3 or Battlefield 3 high-ultra settings.

Cons: a little loose fitting in, but that could just be the result of my pci slot, other than that it's perfect.

4 out of 5 eggsStrong card with low power draw.

Pros: For the price range this is a really strong card, I am able to run battlefield 3 at 1920x1080 resolution with all high settings and get between 45-60 fps.

Cons: This isn't really a con but I figured that with the low power draw it wouldn't need a 6-pin connector.

Other Thoughts: Fx-4100
Galaxy Gtx 650 GC
8gb 1333mhz RAM
Corsair CX430 PSU

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs Skyrim max graphics
Runs pretty much anything I throw at it while also sustaining a dual monitor setup and one is actually a 40' Tv.

Cons: What is with the audacity of these manufacturers to not have these cards make cookies for you!

Other Thoughts: Seriously, it's a good card It's taken anything I've thrown at it and preformed accordingly, it's only ever started chugging is when I load something GPU heavy in Skyrim, and that's only been in one place, from a mod.
