The Galaxy GeForce GTX 650 Ti GC 1GB version graphics card is factory overclocked at 966MHz which is 38MHz higher than the reference card.  The upgrades and improvements found in the GTX 650 Ti, or “Titanium” edition, are anything but minor.  The new card features a full two times the number of CUDA cores vs. the standard GTX 650 for a massive boost in performance while still maintaining a very accessible midrange price. The Galaxy GeForce GTX 650 Ti GC 1GB version graphics card includes a near-silent single fan cooler.   An array of NVIDIA exclusive technologies, such as NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync for stuttering- and tearing-free gaming, NVIDIA Surround with up to three monitors (This card has one mini HDMI port and two DVI ports), Anti-aliasing modes of TXAA, NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready, and NVIDIA PhysX Technology works in concert to ensure you get the most immersive and impressive gaming experience.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology enables a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To three Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Linux

Pros: I bought the card to replace my AMD 5770 because I was tired of stability issues caused by the terrible AMD drivers for Ubuntu. I had heard that the Nvidia drivers were much more stable on the desktop so I decided to make the switch.
The card was smaller than I expected, space is not a concern for me but i guess it helps with airflow. The drivers installed fine, all I had to do was type "sudo apt-get install jockey" in the terminal, and I let Jockey handle the installation automatically. It detected and isntalled the drivers in no time. It was honestly more of pain to remove the AMD drivers than it was to install the Nvidia drivers.

The card runs smooth both for native linux games and games on wine.

The box is sexy.

The card runs pretty cool, which helps keep my room cool too :D

Cons: I wich the card came with a mini hdmi adapter, and the ports could have been arranged better, it's hard to fit an adapter since my monitors are hdmi/vga instead of dvi, which forces me to run one of them with an adapter from the port that sits right next to the mini hdmi slot. I had to be more aggressig than I would have liked to get them both to fit.

I've had some very minor issues with screen tearing and Vsync, but i think that's more of a compiz issue than an Nvidia one, so I'm not even sure it belongs on this review. It's only really noticable when I play Bastion, and maybe a little with Minecraft.

Other Thoughts: Heven't had the chance to test Cuda rendering on Blender yet.
Physx isn't supported on Linux as far as I know.

2 out of 5 eggsQuite weak, not worth the asking 140-150

Pros: Runs very cool, on load, around 55c or less.
Very quiet.
Decent performance at 1680 x 1050

Cons: Chokes at 1080p, especially when VRAM usage is around 650mb or above. Despite the 1GB VRAM, it cannot actually handle anywhere near that amount. It is really bandwidth limited.

- Would never buy from Galaxy again. Rebate has been in processing since Jan and has yet to be sent out despite me paying for no-wait service. Refuses to answer emails regarding this.

Other Thoughts: If you buy this, do not expect good 1080p performance. Do not expect to be able to turn up textures or AA settings. And do not expect to ever get your rebate from this company.

5 out of 5 eggsIan

Pros: this card is great, it plays all my games at high settings at 1080p resolution. Borderlands 2 looks great, at highest settings 8x AA, physx effects on high, 55 fps. Never gets hot stays around 42 degrees celcius. I am very satisfied.

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggsJust installed - no mini-HDMI adapter

Pros: Price - with a rebate I got this for $110. Can't beat that.

Cons: No mini-HDMI adapter included. This sucks big-time, especially since I wanted to connect to a monitor that already had a DVI port being used. Now I've got to order one separately. Boo.

Other Thoughts: I just installed this, and haven't gotten the chance to run it through its paces. But I wanted to call out the lack of a mini-HDMI adapter. These things aren't like VGA-DVI adapters - not everyone has several lying around.

I knocked the egg off for this alone. Once I have spent some time with the product, I'll edit this review and provide an update.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent value-for-money

Pros: Excellent value. It is also quite short, so it should fit in almost any case.

Cons: Because it's a 650 Ti, SLI support has been removed. This is NVIDIA's decision, not Galaxy's.

Other Thoughts: It uses a mini-HDMI connector. Use a mini-HDMI to HDMI cable instead of an adapter, because an adapter will likely hit your case.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works well with modern games.

Cons: No complaints. Wish it was a 660ti or something twice as expensive but... Pick your battles.

5 out of 5 eggsthe best

Pros: I am 15 building my own pc, while i didnt want something super flashy and this caught my eye. all my parts fit into it really well, and its easy to get into, and theres is plenty of space for cable management. and the case is rised a a good amount, which is great for me because i have carpet and the psu is cool rised up an inch or two. if you want to put a 2.5 hdd then you need a converter.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: my pc is:
i3-3220
gtx 650ti
gigabyte ga-Z77-hd3
8gb ballistix

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang for your Buck

Pros: Affordable
Runs games at high FPS at 1920x1080
Small form factor

Cons: Stereoscopic 3D enabled as default??

Other Thoughts: Almost went with a 660 and I'm glad I went with this instead. The most current game I've got is Borderlands 2 and it runs great on this card with all setting on high at 1920x1080 resolution. Great card for the price.

For some reason when I started up Borderlands everything looked really weird and when I got to the main screen I realized it looked like old-style 3D movies. Went into my NVIDIA drivers setting and for some reason stereoscopic 3D was enabled on games that support it right out of the box. Not a big deal, just a box to uncheck. Threw me for a loop though! I thought there was something wrong with it at first.

Only had it for a few days so I can't speak to the reliability, but I'll be sure to update if I run into problems.
