Pros: Runs most (even newer) games smoothly

Cons: I bought this same card back in August...only back in August it had a fan on it...and that fan happened to break about a week ago...and now they sell it without a fan on it? what? did they realize all along the fan was defective?

Other Thoughts: Stop being cheap and go with the 7800 gpu...

5 out of 5 eggsDecent PCI-E Card

Comments: Bought this for a new build for my father-in-law. He didn't want to pay more for the 6600GT. I have to say it seems to work very well. Good card for the price.

Comments: good card, haven't seen slowdowns with card playing doom3 or max payne 2 at 1024X768 with all detail options on. there are better cards that are more expensive, but a good value for the money if you are not playing the latest games, or don't need huge resolution.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Comments: Words cannot describe how good this card is. I upgraded from a super old GeForce MX400 PCI, which would get about 20 fps on the Ice Tomb level of Unreal Tournament 2003, at lowest quality. Unplayable.

I popped this card in today, played the Ice Tomb, set details to Highest on everything and turned all options on. Changed resolution from 640x480 to 1024x768. IT RUNS AT >70 FPS!!! Amazing! Now to try Battlefield 2 Demo.

System Specs:
ECS Socket 754 Mobo (A754 Model) nForce 4 Chipset
Sempron 2800+ Palermo
1GB Corsair Value Select (2x512)
Black Raidmax Astro
500W Aspire Clear PS (AS500)
Albatron 6600 PCI-e
older 5400 RPM IDE Hard Drive

All parts from Newegg (less the HDD)...This is an amazing system for the price.

Recieved this card 1 week from ordering Express Saver, with Labor Day & hurricane. Newegg & Fedex.....You the bomb.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazed

Comments: ...it won't stop overclocking, this seems to be a better chip than my 6600 GT OC!!! ??? Maybe we shouldnt be putting ramsinks on? It doesn't even seem to be breaking a sweat either, super cool. Less pipes = better clock. Now to unlock some pipes.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Comments: This card is one of the best for its price. It installed without a hitch and runs all of the new games, and some slightly older games that require good cards such as: Doom 3, Battlefield 1942, etc... The fan is just a bit loud, but that is a very insignificant thing, considering the card's excellent performance and low price. I got it for my new PCI system. The only thing that sucks was that I live in Alaska, so the shipping was kind of a lot, but I'm not gonna knock any levels off of its review because I live so far away! Who need's the 6800? ;)

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Bought this card for my work computer six months ago because integrated Intel graphics on the MB are terrible. Fan is quiet and the refresh is fast on the 21" CRT. Very satisfied overall because it performs well and has been trouble free day in and day out!
