5 out of 5 eggsWas an awesome video card

Pros: I bought this thing in Feb of 2008 and it still plays most games, albeit maybe not on the highest settings. I've gone through two motherboards & 3 cpu's with this always as my video card. Had a great run with it, replacing it not because it's broken but because I want to run some newer games on the highest settings. My new Gigabyte Geforce GTX 770 should arrive this week, I hope I get 1/2 as much time with it as I did with this card.

Cons: No cons, this card has served me well for 5 and a 1/2 years, still runs great just a little slow on some of the newer titles.

Other Thoughts: awesome card for the buck back in the day

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad...

Pros: Good card for everyday gaming and casual pc users. It can play most new games but usually on med-low settings. If you have the money go with the 8800 gt or save up until you do because you will want to upgrade!

Cons: Very large! Takes up lots of space.

5 out of 5 eggsneat-o

Pros: the graphics on the card heatsink roxor - but seriously, the card is a monster - overclocked and runs smooth. Comes with all the goodies and a sweet component cable adapter output for TV's that don't have RGB. No issues with drivers, etc.

Cons: none that I can think of - it was kinda pricey, but a great buy compared to the other 8800 cards with less ram

Other Thoughts: nice rebate when I bought it!!!

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: Great card. Works well with Flight Sim X and Call of duty. Easy to install. Didn't come with any bundle of software.

Cons: Stock cooler. I upgraded to a zalman. It runs much cooler. Other than that no gripes.

Other Thoughts: Runs great on my system. Phenom 9600, Asus M3A32 MVP BOARD, 4 GIGS KINGSTON DDR2 PC8500 1066 RAM, THIS CARD AND A SEAGATE 500GB BARRACUDA DRIVE. Need vista though, only accepts 3.25 gigs. Bummer dude.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome Card

Pros: Very happy. Replace Geforc 6800GT OC and am very impressed with the performence. I've had to increase the resolution and turn all the settings to max to get optimum frame rates. The higher the resolution the higher the FPS! Just amazing. All video cards should have this problem.

Cons: It did'nt come with a game pad thats shown in the picture on the box on NewEgg. If you look closely theres a game pad when you look at the pics on the box. Oh well. Just install the latest drivers from Nvidia and throw the cd's away. Unless your a newb and like shareware riddled with spyware.

Other Thoughts: This card is part of a new build for me that consists of a CM Cosmos Full tower case, 8800GTS, E8400 Wolfy 3GHZ CPU, 2gigs crucial DDR2 ram, 800watt APFC Ultra PSU, SB Audigy2 SoundCard, Z680 Logitech speakers, Asus P5N-D Nvidia 750i MB,Seagate Baracuda 7200.11 500gig hdd with 32mbs cach, lite-on 20xDVD burner, 24" Dell LCD display. Am very happy camper.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price, great card.

Pros: This card is fantastic! Searched around for awhile, and it was either this or the 8800GT, my friend just got an 8800GT and my PC kicks 20 more FPS at him on average. This card is NOT "too big" considering I have a UFO ATX (also classified under M-ATX) and it fits nice and snug. No heating issues either, runs cold as ice.

Cons: Absolutely none at all, install and operation flawless.

Other Thoughts: My specs: 9600 Phenom Black 2.3ghz Quadcore, Gigabyte GA-MA790X Ultra MB, 4gb Crucial DDR2 PC2 6400 DC, Vista Ultimate.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect card for the price...

Pros: What can be said?! This card has amazing power, and compared to the GTX (nearly double the price) do you really need that little bit of speed? This card came packed well, mint condition box so I wasn't worried about pre-damage issues. Great instructions (if you need them) and connectors for anything you plan to do with the card, (2x VGA-DVI and TV adapter) and since this is SLI, I can always get a second one in the future.

Cons: If anything maybe the drivers? I didn't take the super universal junk drivers that came with the CD, instead I just downloaded the Omega drivers.

Other Thoughts: My specs: 9600 Phenom Black 2.3ghz Quadcore, Foxconn 8800GTS 640/320 OC Series, Gigabyte GA-MA790X Ultra MB, 4gb Crucial DDR2 PC2 6400 DC, Vista Ultimate 32bit.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat upgrade at a great price

Pros: I just upgraded from a ATI Radeon 6800 series to the Foxconn GeForce 8800GTS 640MB 320-bit card. This blows my last card away of course. I'm a big World of Warcraft player both end-game raiding and arena/pvp and I can see so much of a difference. Before I was running everything at medium rez and med/low settings to get 16-20 FPS. Now I'm running with every setting maxed at mad rez and max antialiasing and still getting 60FPS.

Cons: I think I'm actually bottlenecking on my CPU speed. I'm told this card is capable of well over 80FPS on a system with a faster CPU. Also, other people are saying that this card is too big, but I had no problems at all fitting this beauty in my box. Big performance needs a big package :)

Other Thoughts: I'm running an AMD Athlon 64 3500+ with an ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 939 Mobo and 2 gigs of Kingston HyperX DDR 400. Wow was playable before, but this card definitely makes it more enjoyable. Plus it's already OCed, so you can get max performance right out of the box. Installs in a snap and trouble-free so far.
