Great card for the money
- Pros: Great price (I got it on sale for $45).
Quiet. Relatively low power requirements. Crysys and Bioshock look great! Hybrid SLI works great with my MB integrated graphics. Supports dual analog monitors.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: I bought a good foundation MB and have been updating as I go along. I was going to get a more expensive card in the spring, but my MB wouldn't drive both my CRTs. This card has far exceeded my expectations. I was especially impressed with how well it runs Crysys.
Works great
- Pros: I took it out of the box and put in in the slot and got the Win 7 drivers from nVidia and it does a fine job.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: I have not put the motherboard and all the rest into a case yet so I may rig up a fan to blow onto the heatsink before I box everything up.
expected a bit more
- Pros: Good gaming performance and image, considering the price and the fanless design, as long as you don't expect Too much from it.
- Cons: DVI-Out works well but the D-Sub output is giving a blurry and low-contrast picture, for some reason. For me, using both outputs at once eventually results in the system freezing, crashing, and resetting.
My case has an 80mm fan blowing air in and directly across the heatsink of this card of mine. I imagine this card would be burned-up already, if I didn't have that fan on it.
It seems I can't use it in most PC cases, and I can only use the DVI-output.
