5 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: Got this card over a year ago for my brother, it's quiet and runs cool, we haven't had any issues.

Cons: It's old

Pros: For the price it's a fast video card that comes overclocked..... When it worked.

Cons: Worked for 8 months and then one day my computer would no longer boot with this card. I RMA'd this video card and Sparkle sent me another card that was refurbished and also defective. It really ticked me off because the shipping cost came out of my pocket twice when senting the card back to Sparkle.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and buy a video card from a well known company. This Sparkle video card was cheap for a reason.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Does the job nicely. Runs everything I've tried so far at max settings on my 1680x1050 monitor. It was definitely a good cost-effective upgrade for my aging core2 system -- anything more would probably go to waste.

Cons: Cooler is cheap and a bit noisy. It's just a slab of aluminum extrusion, no heatpipes here. And the fan has a noticeable whine. It's tolerable though.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic! No problems at all.

Pros: -Super quiet

-Absolutely no problems

-Probably the toughest game I've thrown at this card is Fall Out: New Vegas, and it handles it with max settings & max AA at 1920x1080 via mini HDMI without using even 60% of the card. Temps stay about 60C with this load. See other thoughts about my temps.

-Without the plastic cover on the hsf, this card would probably look exactly like the EVGA GTX 460. That means, very close architecture gives Sparkle that much more credibility.

-I went out on a leg purchasing a high dollar product from a brand I was unfamiliar with. I was not disappointed.

Cons: -The fan is purple and the brand name is Sparkle.
-The cover of the hsf on the card is boring, but hey, it's meant to be cheaper than say, EVGA's or Galaxy's card.

Other Thoughts: About the temperatures:
Let me tell you about my case. This card has been in a stock Gateway case since I've owned it. I am building a new i7 2600k system this weekend for myself which will be in a CM Storm Sniper, but I decided to write the review now instead of after.

I figure that many people looking for a card like this might also have stock cases from Gateway, Dell, etc. You know, the kind of cases with two fans; one for the CPU heatsink and one chassis [exhaust] fan. Idle temp in this sort of case is 35C. At load it approaches 60C.
In my new build I expect to see a large drop when going from this tiny, cramped, stock case to a nice roomy Storm Sniper.

For those of you with gaming cases that move loads of air, temps with this card will probably be ~10C lower. I will see this weekend, and possibly write an update review.

For those of you with cases like my current one described earlier, your temps might get a little warm for comfort.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Service

Pros: Fast card,Great price and top notch Customer Service.

Cons: Bought two cards for my two sons computer. After month one went bad and I sent it back.Got the replacement and a month later it went bad also.Sent it back and the replacement had two broken fan mounts.Sent it back and I just put it in and all seems fine.

Other Thoughts: Though I had a lot of problems with the cards I have to say that Sparkles service is top notch. They replace it with a card with higher memory. So maybe I was snake bit on the first three cards.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't work for me

Pros: Good specs, other reviews were good. Excellent benchmarks on websites.

Cons: This card was a complete disaster for me. I couldn't load up any kind of game without my system crashing. Popped in my old card, and everything worked again. I'm personally avoiding Sparkle cards for now on.

RMA'd

Other Thoughts: I'm probably going to go with the gigabyte GTX 460 once I get my money back.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Overclocked to 850 / 1700 / 2000 at stock voltage. Plays Crysis smoothly at 1920 x 1080 all 'very high' settings, 16x AA. Any other game it plays maxed without struggling (Assissins creed II, COD, darksiders, bioshock II). Max temp with the overclock is only 69C. Also the fan is not too loud at all.

Cons: Its purple?

Other Thoughts: Best bang for the buck. Very impressed with the card, had originaly intended to SLI but I feel like one is sufficient to play any game right now.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Stable and solid. Replaced the defective Sapphire Radeon HD6850 I had bought. This required 2 PCI-E 6 pin connectors, but still is running stably on my system:
Intel S5000PSL w/dual socket quadcore Xeon L5420 12MB(that's 8 physical cores at 2.5GHz) with 600W PS. Good performance even though installed on PCI-E x8 slot. NVIDIA control panel is much more useful and intuitive than the Catalyst CP from AMD. Included an HDMI cable.

Cons: None thus far.

5 out of 5 eggsMore than I Expectecd

Pros: only expected to get good gaming out of starcraft 2 on low resolution monitor, my system dual core 3ghz, 4gig ddr2 7200rpm sata 2 drive and this card. I knew It would ultra everthing on monitor but for giggles hooked up to my 240hz led and kept running great ulta setting on 1080. Kind of mad now I have to buy a new monitor, cant go back to lower resolution. Also great software, Loaded to windows 7, zero issues

Cons: Freaking huge. Slightly louder than 2000rm fans 19db rated, but still cant hear my system with t.v. or monitor on so take that as a con for nit pick sake,

5 out of 5 eggsRuns like a dream

Pros: I'm loving this card. I can play SC2 on Extreme graphics settings with minimal frame drops (with an i3-2100). For the price, this card is an excellent value.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I haven't heard of Sparkle before, but the warranty is good.
