5 out of 5 eggsIt Must Be Alive

Pros: I bought this mean monster to replace my GTX 275 o/c edition very nice packing and very good looking video card it is about half inch long than BFG GTX 275.but still not too heavy in weight the temperatures don't go above 62 c no matter what I do and @idle stays on between 44 c to 47 c (in my blackbird 002 case that is) the 3 cooler fans stays too quite even at 100%. No sound from the fans @stock 44% speed or on manual 100% I had to make sure the fans are spinning via MSI afterburner (lol) played different games on high settings and feels like watching a movie (silk smooth game play) Plus Life Time Warranty (Register With Sparkle USA Within 30 Days) Please Note It Is out of stock everywhere in USA it might not come back in stock Grab it if you can don't think twice I saw last 2 at local web site sold out within 10 minutes while I was watching I am Super lucky I got one from newegg there is no place like newegg for computer electronics and that is the fact guys not an opinion..

Cons: Makes a single "squeak" when computer boots yes I agree to that but only for 1 seconds may be its a warning sign that the Lion is out of Cage..OUT OF STOCK everywhere too bad Hard to find now yes 100% true otherwise no cons at all

Other Thoughts: strange thing that I have noticed is that this card has the mind of its own may be its alive for example stock fan speed is 44% and temp are 45 c start playing game and the fan will still spin at 44% but the temp will not go above 61 c and once you done playing temp will come down again to 45 or 46 c well that means the card does not even need more fan speed under load may be because the cooler is doing a superb job I don't know I might ask this to Sparkle (2nd) strange thing is if the fan speed is at 44% and temp is 45 c increasing the fan to 70% 80% or even 100% will not decrease the temp too much may be 2 or 3 degree after a while I don't think its a Con but thought should share it in the end I must say this video card is super hit GPU I love it..Good Luck

5 out of 5 eggsSchnikes - What a monster

Pros: This monster is running at 37c idle in an FT02 at 77f ambient temperature. This beats out the AMP! by 2c in the same case at the same ambient temperature. It is darn quiet for a 3-fan solution. I am very happy with performance and sound levels.

Cons: Takes 3 slots and is long, but fits in Ft02 fine.

Other Thoughts: Hard to beat this single-card solution with ANYTHING else. I don't give out 5 starts easily, but this deserves the rating.

5 out of 5 eggsThe King of GTX 480s

Pros: Excellent cooling compared to stock GTX 480, virtually silent operation at stock fan speeds, very, very fast!

Cons: Makes a single "squeak" when computer boots (other reviewers have noted this). Requires 3 PCI slots and is very long (owners of mid-tower cases may have difficulty getting it to fit).

Other Thoughts: Purchased this card to replace my GTX 285. It is considerably faster than the GTX 285 and (thanks to the tri-fan cooling solution) it also runs cooler. It is also quiet (much quieter than the GTX 285) which is something I did not expect. In short, it addresses the two of the biggest issues found in the stock GTX 480, namely, GPU temperature and fan noise while at the same time sporting higher clocks. These benefits come at the cost of a considerable amount of space (the card takes up 3 PCI slots and is very long due to the fact the cooler actually extends beyond the board itself). That said, if you have the space in your rig and the cash, you can't go wrong with this card.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing card

Pros: very fast and very cool. this thing is faster than my old evga gtx 295 overclocked to at 720/1200/1570 and runs 30c cooler. it scored 1500 points higher than gtx 295 and idle temperature is 34c vs gtx 295's 55c and max temperature at 59c vs gtx 295's 88c when playing crysis warhead. no games i played could broke 60c on this card and only furmark extreme test was able to make this card go up to 69c on stock fan speed. simply amazing. best gpu i've ever owned. also it's single gpu so i don't have to disable one of gpu when i switch or use dual display like i did on gtx 295 and it supports dx 11. highly recommended. it's only $480 including shipping.

Cons: huge, huge, huge. when i heard it's 3 slots card, i didn't care. but this thing is really big. it barely fits in my antec 1200 case. length wise it's about same as my previous gtx 295 but width is different story. it covers up my sata line on motherboard so i had to move my sata lines to side of my motherboard. minor inconvenience for me but it could prove pain in the but if u are using some cheap motherboard that don't have sata plug in on side of motherboard.

Other Thoughts: it's huge card. i kinda remember how i thought my geforce 8800gt was big back in the days but when i look at it today, it looks small. why is gpu just getting bigger and bigger? they say they make chips smaller but what's point of smaller chip if card itself is already 3x bigger than old days? kinda irritates me. also it will be near impossible to sli this card on my case coz second one like this will touch my psu and some of lines on motherboard which i won't be able to plug to side like i did on sata lines. but no matter. single gtx 480 is already powerful enough and i will probably upgrade to gtx 580 b4 i buy another one of this thing.

3 out of 5 eggsAny Info would be gr8

Pros: So I dont own this yet as I cant find any actual reviews....

Price is very tempting+Apparent Cooling Solution.

Cons: Large 3 slot design (but on air what do u expect).
Reviews dont exist :(

Other Thoughts: What actual temps and wattage are people gettin with this? The Zotac Amp I have seen 20C cooler the reference card and with a lower wattage draw too. Are the components upgraded aswell for better OC? Basically does this do what the AMP gtx480 does at a cheaper price?
Oh....what is the fan noise like at load?

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Overclocked from the factory.
Runs cool (compared to my GTX 280). Have not seen the fan go off of minimum yet.
Looks better than std box like 480's.
Also much quiter than my GTX 280.

Cons: 3 slot card.
SLI will be difficult due to width of card.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this to replace SLI'ed GTX 280's. So far I am happy with the performance, and temps and noise are a huge improvement over the GTX 280's. Have not run any benchmarks but frame rates on games are comparable.
