1 out of 5 eggsNot as description from Sparkle Website

Pros: It seems well built.

Cons: In the Sparkle website it shows that this video card is capable to play 1080p movies. But I can't even play 720p movies with this video card which HD video not sync with audio. I just find out from the web that is due to the PCI slot speed limitation. So I would like to return the card which is wrong description from the Sparkle website.

Other Thoughts: I tried to put it in Dell GX520 Small Form Factor computer which has Pentium D 3.0G cpu and 4G ram with Win Xp, and I install the most recent driver from nVidia, and it just didn't work out for HD video in 720p & 1080p format.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent video card.

Pros: -Supports DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.0 if my memory serves.
-Best PCI card for the price and time that you'll likely find.
-Good enough GPU to run most low-tier games and applications.

Cons: -Uses an out of date port, which is miles slow than the current standards(2013)
- Not the most Memory available, $10 more will get you double.
-Older computer architecture, makes it somewhat complicated to add a video card.

Other Thoughts: An alright video card, probably the best card you'll find for a PCI bus, but at the point of buying this card, you'd probably save money buying a used computer with a better motherboard. That wasn't an option for me though, so it's served alright.

I have a PCIe 2.0 8400 GS (1GB) which works roughly the same, albeit a ton faster.

5 out of 5 eggsPCI Graphics Card

Pros: I needed a PCI display adapter to help breath some life into an old P4 system with out APG.

In other words - this was perfect for what I needed.

*PCI Interface

*Fanless
----------------------
Yes, it does play games - mostly pre 2006 - OK.
Should work in most vintage computers with a PCI slot.

Cons: If I were to say this was a slow card, I'd be right. However, I did not get this card for extreme gaming or video editing.

Other Thoughts: Works great for turning your old computer into a HTPC.

This went into a P4 Hackintosh System.

5 out of 5 eggsSparkle 8400GS PCI card

Pros: its PCI interface, not PCIe. The 8400GS chip is currently supported by Nvidia in Windows 8. It is a bargain for an 8400GS PCI card compared to what remains in the marketplace for this outdated interface. Works well for desktop apps, not using it for gaming.

Cons: its PCI interface, not PCIe.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this to be able to run a 4 monitor system with Windows 8 with the current updated Nvidia drivers. The previous mix of a 8400GS PCIe card and a 6200 PCI card worked with the native Windows 8 drivers, but when Windows update released new NVidia drivers, I lost the function of the 6200 PCI card. It turns out the old 6200 series is no longer supported by Nvidia for Win 8. I could roll back the drivers to restore function, but went instead with spending $50 with getting a second 8400GS PCI card to keep drivers current.
