4 out of 5 eggsGood mid-range PCI-e card

Pros: Performs well in most of my games, only needs one PCI-e power connection, built-in cooling solution is pretty effective (little noisy).

Cons: A little expensive for what you get--you can have a much better card for 50% more coin

Other Thoughts: I built a new workstation for gaming and development and such, and bought this card since it looked capable enough without being $400+. I'm pretty happy with the performance--I can turn on most features and get good framerates--although there are still some features that cannot be enabled. Overall I wish I had spent the extra $200 for a card that would have been more than 4x better performer.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Do not listen to anyone making negative comments on this product if they do then they do not know how to use a computer. I have this video Card and I'm getting 140-320 Frames per second in conter strike, there is no gliching everything runs smooth. Best Card I've seen for its price.

Cons: Absolutly no cons, installs easy make sure you know how to first or you might be like other ppl negatively commenting on products that dont know what they're doing with.

Other Thoughts: For gaming this is an excellent product for you if you dont want to spend $400+

2 out of 5 eggsNot to great

Pros: Nice quiet fan, runs very cool.

Cons: Easy to install, setup was cake.

Other Thoughts: I was very dissopointed in this video card. It can't even run Counter-Strike Source on low settings. My 64 mb can run it on all medium. Very sad.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bang for the buck. Though this is a more pricey version. It does have better cooling setup then the sapphaire atleast.

Cons: Noisy fan (had to install zalman and I wanted easier control), when I did this found little to no thermal protection on GPU. With new setup runs 12degrees cooler.

Other Thoughts: For all the problems I've noticed with this card (hard to OC, very long, noisy fan, little factory thermal protection on GPU, CCC not as useful as I would like...I give it a 4 because of price, and does perform. 3dmark w/ no OC'ing is very respectable. Going for a Crossfire to see how it really performs!

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME

Pros: Great card! was going to get the 2900(400 dollar vcard) but decided to save some mula. so i got this and i have a 19in wide screen. running 1440x900 all the time, np. plays every thing great if you want to play any thing on high make sure you have more than a gig. great card thinking of crossfiring this puppy!with another 1950:D

Cons: needs big space, and at least more than a gig of ram

Other Thoughts: great i would buy another maybe i will!! heheh

4 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: High quality video - looks very good, powerful enough for everything except running the most demanding games at high resolution and AA enabled, runs cooler than similar cards, supports HDTV at native resolutions [1360x786 for example] with a standard VGA cable

Cons: Exhausts hot air into the case, not powerful enough to run demanding games with video maxed out [MS Flight Sim X, Oblivion, and so on], does not support HDTV at native resolution by using a digital cable.

Other Thoughts: Over all this is a very good video card. Note that the newest video cards have problems with HDTV as the main monitor, it is a driver issue [ATI HD 2900 I can understand because it was recently released, nVidea 8800 series has no excuse because their cards have been out for months. This card is very stable and produces crisp images.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Video Card

Pros: This card has been able to do everything I have asked of it with high speed and quality. I have not heard the noise that other users have complained about and I built my computer to be quiet.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Scores a 5.8 and 5.9 in Windows Vista.

5 out of 5 eggsSmooth

Pros: run fast, the heatsink are like jets keeping it super cool 30C even at maxed out games and internal Crossfire

Cons: Fan is loud loud loud

Other Thoughts: Even though the fan(s) is loud I would not replace the copper heatsink but I would recommend getting a case that has a fan or ducked that sits over the card(s)so the jet like fan pushs the air out of the case. The case band I like is Lian-Li

3 out of 5 eggsPricy

Pros: Performance

Cons: The same spec card released by Sapphire is $40 cheaper. Catalyst driver UI is an eyesore. Linux driver does not support AIGLX/Xgl properly.

Other Thoughts: A review said this card has lower power consumption than others in its generation.
