5 out of 5 eggsWork Great

Pros: Work Great, I've sold 9 of these and not a single problem

Cons: Little pricey for such old tech, but they actually work.

3 out of 5 eggsGood card with some major problems

Pros: 4 monitors on 1 card. Good resolution. Great for 2d graphics.

Cons: Cable screws break. Bulky connector cables. Buggy. Runs really hot.

Other Thoughts: I've had this card for over 2 years now. It's used on a good workstation, XP Pro 32 setup. Has major bugs in XP Pro which is really surprising as all other FirePro cards seem to be rock solid in XP. Always updated to most recent drivers and ATI software. Has fairly frequent hangs and errors from day 1.

My biggest complaint is that 2 of 4 screws on the cables broke off in the card while only hand tightening. This is unacceptable as it's now very difficult to keep the connectors fully secure and impossible to remove the broken screw ends.

Card runs extremely hot when editing on multiple monitors. It's actively cooled as well, so I can't imagine what the 2460, which is passive, would be like. If you have any way to water cool this card, I would do it.

In hindsight, I would prefer 2 higher quality dual monitor cards instead of this quad card. As long as you have the appropriate PCI-E space and bandwidth, it would be a more stable and probably cheaper option.

1 out of 5 eggsCan't get it to work!

Pros: fast NewEgg delivery?

Cons: win 7 64 bit with MSI 870A-G54 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Stuck at "Checking NVRAM" with 1 or 2 of these video cards installed into either PCIe slot

Other Thoughts: I hope it's just something I'm doing wrong here

4 out of 5 eggsCAD/CAM & Quad-monitor setup

Pros: Low profile and low power usage means it can be used in a large variety of PCs. Large copper heatsink to protect card from thermal issues.

Cons: This card would not work in a XP Pro PC. Not enough resources available to initialize device. I loaded Win7 on the PC and then the card worked great!

Other Thoughts: This card was for a SFF HP DC7100 and it requires little BIOS reconfig to disable onboard Intel VGA and enable the PCIe card. I tried for days to get it to work in WinXP Pro. I did not try to torrent another WinXP Pro OS install disk, but I doubt that was the issue.

3 out of 5 eggs400?

Pros: 4 monitors ready to go.
Hydravision, but hydravision is available to all radeon catalyst cards
extreme low power.

Cons: 400$.
obv not a game card, but still, I mean, for 400 I want something that can at least play on mid settings.

Other Thoughts: If you arent using some kind of Cad program, u dont need this. Really, there are so many other options to go with. The only thing this card can do that no other card can, is run 4 monitors in a single din.
As opposed to other vid cards, windows treats this one card as 4 separate cards, which is actually a plus for certain scenarios.

But dont be scared by my review... it works just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this card !

Pros: I have been using this card for approx 4 months and love it ! It has a fairly steep learning curve but that's to be expected with a card of so much capability. I'm also using an ATI 2250 to take my work station to 5 monitors.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I tried this card in an old DELL and couldn't get it to work, I returned the card, built a new computer and reordered this card and installed it in my new system without a hitch. A company in Florida uses these cards in their custom built multi monitor systems ! Good enough endorsement for me !!

4 out of 5 eggsFit the bill but Pricey!

Pros: 1. Easy installation. Used driver CD
2. Quad DVI-D output.
3. With DVI to HDMI adapter, output is supported to HDTV's**
4. Low profile.
5. Low power consumption. Some vendors recommend 350 watt PSU. This is not necessary. Works fine with a 250w PSU in an HP dx7500 SFF without issue running two 19" and a Sony Bravia HDTV.

Cons: 1. Catalyst Control Center a little quirky and unintuitive. the latest CCC loses support for scaling on an HDTV so the supplied CD is what had to be used.
2. Fan is just a tad audible in a super quiet room. Probably not a concern with a little white noise.
3. Even though it supports OpenGL things such as certain screensavers are a little choppy.
4. For some reason I cannot get the HDTV to support 1080p @ 60 Hertz. Only 1080p/i 24 Hertz is possible. Not sure if it is the card or the TV. Although desired, it is not a deal breaker.
This card is being used in an executive office where a small form factor PC was required with little power consumption. This was the only card I could find that had what I needed for a dual 19" screen with additional output to HDTV for the occaisional video or presentation with a low profile, low power option.
It would be nice if there was a version of this card that had 3D support and cost a little less. But I realize my application may be rare.

Other Thoughts: So far no complaints after 4 months of use from the user.
