5 out of 5 eggsSimple, Reliable, Affordable

Pros: -low power draw
-simple drivers
-very reliable

We use a bunch of these little guys in an IT NOC, driving 4x Dell 22" displays via DVI at each desk. They're basically the only thing out there that will reliably drive 4 displays from a Dell Optiplex 790 mini tower without issues with power draw. These days, most commodity "under-your-office-desk" PCs from Dell or HP come with the absolute minimum power supply wattage. This means that most gaming and professional cards won't work (as we discovered through much cursing and experimentation). These little cards have served up 100% 2D workloads 12 hours per day for almost a year without issues, and don't require a giant irritating driver package to get working. They even work well for a little after hours Left 4 Dead 2...

Cons: The esoteric VHDCI>DVI cables would be annoying to replace if they ever broke. We cable tie the 2 sets together for greater mechanical reliability.

Other Thoughts: If you don't need 3D and you need to run a lot of monitors, look no further.

1 out of 5 eggsWill not work with XP Pro

Pros: Quad monitors, 2 GPU's.

Cons: Will not run under XP Pro. I really wanted this to work in my Dell Optiplex GX620. Bios updates - nothing helped. System must be too old.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent card

Pros: quiet, good price for 4 output card, excellent driver package (does not install a bunch of junk). works fine in a system with 2 of these cards with only a 250w pws (and that's with a 3.7 i7 and 16gb ram).

Cons: not free...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Works very well, went up with very little effort. I went to the AMD website to install the drivers, but I'm sure you can use the disc included.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I like this card a lot better than the PNY nVidia Quadro NV 420. As that card overheated within a day, never to work again. It was the first time I decided to use an nVidia/PNY product in my office too.

4 out of 5 eggsit works well!!

Pros: Everything works.. just make sure you have the latest bios on your workstation.. I had issues with an Optiplex 960, but going to latest solved a boot loop.. oh also there's some wacky issue with the ATI drivers that caused a bluescreen on install. so I just used the Microsoft drivers from Win Update..

Everything works though.

Cons: ATI Driver issues with Win7 x64

3 out of 5 eggsDisapointed

Pros: Quad monitors, 2 GPU's.

Cons: Will not run under XP Pro. I really wanted this to work in my Dell Quad 6600. Bios updates, SATA reconfigures... nothing helped. Too bad for me.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate my review

Pros: I failed to mention that a company in Florida that specialises in multi monitor systems, ( up to 20 monitors in one system ) uses this card in their systems using 4 monitors. This company builds custom systems for major companies world wide. A friend of mine has a 6 monitor system built by the above company using 2 ATI cards, a 4 monitor card along with a 2 monitor card. He loves it !

Cons: Has a bit of a learning curve as expected in a system that has so much capability but after it's setup it runs flawlessly, stable.

Other Thoughts: I just wanted to add that this card and other ATI cards are used by the professionals, that's enough endorsement for me !

5 out of 5 eggsI love this video card. 4 monitors !

Pros: I'm using it with the Intel DX58SO MB with the extreme processor using a Antec 650 watts power supply. In an Antec sonata Elite case . Beautifull build if I do say so myself. I have no extra cooling and the syatem runs cool and quiet !

Cons: I love the 4 monitors !!! I use the system for stock trading, no OC ing.

Other Thoughts: Great card. Of course we would all like these cards to be less expensive but it's well worth the money.
