Pros: This card was intended to run with Autodesk Inventor software. Large files!
The card performed very well to start and all of a suden it blocked or blacked out!
Called amd TECHNICAL SUPPORT.- Gave them the serial number. The answer was straight, honest. - This product has a defect they said. RETURN IT AND WE WILL REPLACE IT. tHE ONLY PROBLEM FOR ME IS TO SEND IT BACK TO THE USA AT MY COST!- After checking costs + custom problems - I found out that newegg.ca gives a 100% guaranty for 7 days or more....on all items they sell. Therefore it was cheaper to return the product. Still Both parties honored their claims and product! Great company and I will buy more from AMD

Cons: sudden blocking and or blackout

Pros: Bought this to run SolidWorks 2010 because it passed all SolidWorks tests.

Drivers are easily found at AMD's website, or from the SolidWorks website

Cons: Not all that good for gaming, but I don't really play too many games on the PC anyway.

Other Thoughts: Great inexpensive alternative to the Quadro

Pros: purchased only for SolidWorks 2013 use. V4900 over core i7 HD4000 gpu is only somwhat better. Mostly you can use
RealView for quick low grade renders but other then that only a mild improvement over onboard graphics. Windows performance score went from 6.5 to 7.0 with this card in both Graphics and Gaming catagories. SW benchmark test, graphics related, went up pretty good. If I used this pc more then 3 hours a day for SW I would buy this card otherwise I would say that its not worth the extra 40watts its uses in engergy cost. On the other hand, at my office I have Quadro 2000 and if I had the choice between that for $400 and this v4900 for $155 I would buy the v4900 unless you do alot of (high quality photoview) rendering and/or open alot of models with more then 100 (guess) parts in them and have the money to blow.

Cons: not worth it for casual solidworks users and if you have at least core i5 processor (basicly)

Pros: Very cheap card compared to other monitors and still provides great performance. Works well with Auto Cad 2012 as well as Photo Shop CS6.

Cons: Not very compatible with games, this card is meant for drafting and design.
DO NOT BUY THIS CARD IF YOU PLAY HEAVY GAMES (such as Battlefield 3)

Other Thoughts: The Description does not state that this card supports Windows 7, when, in fact it does.

Pros: Very nice picture quality. Plays games and runs cad programs flawlessly

Cons: Seems to get quite hot when I play games. I think the stock blower fan it comes with is not powerful enough for it.

Pros: Nice small, quiet card with very good image quality works well in Photoshop CS6 (Open GL).

Cons: Cannot do GPU Acceleration in Sony Vegas Pro Video 11 editor which requires OpenCL (higher than v 1.0) AMD tech support says hardware cannot be updated and will not work with any higher version of OpenCL. All higher AMD Firepro cards use OpenCL v1.xxx, higher than 1.0. This card is incompatible - no firmware, no software patch.

Other Thoughts: Between Sony Vegas tech support and AMD's you get nowhere.

Pros: Best bang for the buck. Same speed in a Quadro costs $400. Able to handle larger solidworks drawings.

Cons: I'M NOT MUCH OF A GAMER BUT;THE FIREPRO WOULDN'T PLAY PROTOTYPE WHERE HE THE JUMPS THE FENCE AN DEALS WITH THE CHOPPER AND TROOPS TO THROW THE CAR;IT HESITATED FOR ALONG TIME THE FIRST TIME I GAVE UP IT TOOK SO LONG, THE NEXT TIME THE SAME THING BUT IT BROKE THROUGH AND PLAYED THE GAME.

SCENES FOR EACH APP (IF THAT'S THE CASE)PER FUNCTION
AND USING THE OPEN CL FOR COMPUTATION AND PERFORMANCE,MY UNDERSTANDING THE REGULAR GAMING CARD SOME WHAT BLOCKS THIS, IF AT ALL USES IT.READ TOM'S HARDWARE ..WHICH PRO GRAPHICS CARD SHOULD I GET AND MUCH MUCH MORE
