5 out of 5 eggsWorks well in Dell Servers

Pros: Easy installation.
Plug and Play in Dell Servers.
Comes with low profile bracket.
Works as expected.
No additional power needed.
DVI-I analog output capable, for those who need to use a DVI to VGA adapter.

Cons: Doesn't come with a DVI to VGA adapter if this is something you need for your environment.
Doesn't come with a drivers CD in the box. It directs you to download the latest version from AMD's website.
The AMD graphics driver installation package is too bloated in my opinion, even when doing the custom installation option.

Other Thoughts: I did not put this card through its paces and stress it. I needed this card for a Dell PowerEdge R210 II server running Windows 7, because the onboard Matrox graphics processor did not have drivers available for that version of Windows. We needed some basic graphical performance that the Windows "Standard VGA Adapter" driver was just not able to deliver.

2 out of 5 eggstrouble

Pros: It works OK in inventor small files

Cons: when I have large assemblies card shuts down reboots, and you have to close the program over and over again

Other Thoughts: would go for a new card v7900 or the Quardo 4000
3GB card and tell my company to buy at newegg

5 out of 5 eggsLittle Champ

Pros: Fast, capable, affordable, great drivers

Cons: Overpriced hardware when you dig out the specs

Other Thoughts: Have used this extensively on numerous builds for various AutoCAD users. It gets the job done. If you are needing to work with anything animated or very complicated, I'd dig deeper into your budget and go for a V4900 or a V7900.

1 out of 5 eggsCustomer Service NIGHTMARE

Pros: -Comparing to a Galaxy nVidia GT 430 (that it replaced), this card cut render times from 15 minutes to 1.5 minutes!

-Plays modern video games with ease (see other thoughts)

Cons: -The fan is small but does the job. However in a warmer environment like mine (Las Vegas) that little fan works pretty well However 3 months ago I had to RMA this GPU to AMD because the fan seemed to be stuck on high all the time even when using MSI Afterburner to control fan speed. Couldn't control it any longer.
I had been expected to ship the defective product to Canada; the only receiving center for AMD's defects.
$74 via UPS, $68 via DHL, FedEx $72, and $40 via USPS.
Keep in mind some tracking FAILS at the border when it comes to UPS, FedEx, and USPS, be warned. (can't say about DHL) AND you're expected to give your social security number for U.S. customs "over the border GPU shipments." WHAT??!! With SEVERAL emails and threats to AMD about "their GPU policy" I wasn't no longer forced to give my SSN.
So add that to your purchase bill when considering a new GPU - add $40 - $75 USD to your purchase if you ever have to RMA an AMD/ATI brand GPU (not AMD based, AMD/ATI brand specifically).

Other Thoughts: -This is a "renering" GPU and not a "playback" GPU (like gaming video cards) however this little humper has AWESOME playback due to the DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.2, Unified Shader Architecture, Full Shader Model 5.0, and most importantly Hardware acceleration of DirectX 11 & OpenGL 4.2.
Seriously folks it renders WONDERfully AND plays top notch video games AS WELL! I played Splinter Cell Conviction, Medal of Honor 2010, and Sleeping Dogs on this GPU and I SWEAR it looks AND performs better than my EVGA nVidia GTS 450 Superclocked edition GPU. The colors were MUCH better and performace was VERY smooth and never hung or delayed at ALL! So if you draw AND game, this is a GREAT card to get.

-My mom uses this card strictly with Eon Vue v10 for creation and rendering of 3D environments and animations.

-So far the new replacement is working properly but I will NEVER EVER buy an AMD brand GPU EVER again. Like I said folks the shipping issue is with AMD BRAND products; NOT AMD based chipsets (as far as I know).

-ALL good companies are based on Customer Service, and THIS company had me on the edge of (SERIOUSLY) smashing this dumb thing with a sledgehamer and buying ANY thing else besides an AMD/ATI brand product.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent cost effective graphics card

Pros: Cheap, and does the job. This size is very small and will fit in any computer. The older graphics cards are typically very large. I use autocad and it works great. I cant even hear the fan its so quiet. There are far more high-powered graphics card available but it all depends on what you do. If its 3D stuff this card is fine.

Cons: Nothing.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat performance, horribly loud

Pros: Great performance.

Cons: - Loud, really loud. Inexcusable for any component these days.
- Only win7 drivers for SolidWorks, so xp ppl are out of luck.

Other Thoughts: - Loudness is remedied by changing the fan, but still a hassle.

I used this fan: Titan TTC-CUV3AB(DIY) VGA Cooling Fan
Item #: N82E16835192006

Works great, but you need to drill a hole in mounting braket so be warned.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Nice small card that doesnt need an extra power source

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Wish they came with a drivers disk, I have horrid internet where I live and would had liked not to download the drivers, but everything works as it should in linux.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what I need

Pros: It works well with Autocad & Solidworks

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Most of my drawings & assemblies are less than 1000 parts. This card is not going to win any super speed or rendering awards but it serves my needs just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsHighly reccomended over others

Pros: This Card is equivalent to the Radeon HD 6570, but it's 100mhz faster memory wise and it does things like huge multitasking faster than the 6570, but if you are doing small work the 6570 will be better then the FirePro V3900.

Also, the reason I love this card was because of the OpenGL 4.2 support, which only 3 cards on this website has OpenGL 4.2 support , so if you are creating games, and can't get the V7900, then this card is for you.

Cons: It's good for multitasking and loading huge models, but not rendering, other cards will beat it at rendering.
