Pros: It works well for my home theater projection system. Screen images are clear, with good color calibration and no stutter with DVD or HDTV video. Dual screen mode works well with my LCD monitor and LCD projector.

Cons: I had to modify (drill/nibble/file/sand) a full size mounting bracket, from a discarded NIC, in order to use it in my mid-tower case. The stock bracket will ONLY fit a slimline case. I also had to order (from Newegg) an LHF/ DMS 59 male to (2) female VGA cable. Otherwise, this video card is useless.

Other Thoughts: I should have purchased a $30.00 AMD 5450 based video card instead of waisting time and money on this one. Plus, I would have had 1 Gig of DDR3 video memory vice 256 Meg of DDR 2. Newegg should have advised customers about the requisite video adapter cable. Oh well, I've learned another lesson.

1 out of 5 eggsUSELESS...so far

Pros: NONE, since I have no possible way to test it.

Cons: Newegg doesn't tell you that this video card REQUIRES a proprietary DVI output connector. You'll need a (DMS59 DVI Dual Head Connector Cable) in order to make it work. A typical DVI-I, DVI-D or DVI-A cable will NOT fit. This is a proprietary cable (used by Dell and HP) and splits the output into two standard DVI-I male connectors. Newegg has the DMS59 connector cable and will gladly sell you one for TWICE the price of the card.

Other Thoughts: If you have a typical PC enclosure, you'll also need a full height mounting bracket since it comes with a half-height bracket instead.
