The SAPPHIRE HD 7750 1GB low profile model is based on the highly acclaimed Graphics Core Next architecture from AMD, and retains all the features of the HD 7700 series but in a truly low profile format. Many low profile cards use a cooler that is actually larger than the PCB format, and cannot be used in slimline cases. The SAPPHIRE solution uses a specially developed single slot cooler with an efficient ball bearing fan and heatsink design that truly follows the low profile format. This makes it ideally suited to applications like HTPCs or installation in even the slimmest styles of mini-ITX cases.

Performance is the same as other implementations of the HD 7750, with core clock speed of 800MHz and 1GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 4500MHz (effective). Output configuration is very flexible, including multi-monitor support for AMD Eyefinity. Its Dual-Link DVI-I, HDMI and Displayport outputs are all mounted within the low-profile backplate. This has been achieved by the use of mini-DP and micro HDMI sockets. A set of Mini-DP to DP, micro-HDMI to HDMI, and DVI-I to VGA adapters are all supplied with the card, as well as both low profile and standard height backplates.

  • newegg Low profile but with versatile interfaces Fully following the low profile format, the SAPPHIRE HD 7750 1GB low profile model graphics card is perfect for use even in the slimmest cases. Equipped with the most popular Dual Link DVI (Digital Visual Interface), this card is able to display ultra high resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600 at 60Hz.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns them all

Pros: Small, light and runs cool and quiet. I bought the card for Skyrim in particular, but it runs WoW like a champ(Ultra, flying, in the shrine on a Tuesday)also. I prefer to buy cards a few steps down the chain because they've been out longer and the drivers are stable. The price is excellent for the performance and Sapphire put out an excellent product as usual.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The fan is extremely quiet, to the point I didn't realize it was blocked during the initial install. The card overheated and the screen blacked. The heatsink was hot enough to burn my fingers fixing the problem but after a few min cooling it started up and ran like new. Not sure if they'll all be that durable but its impressive none the less.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: One of the fastest (if not the fastest) half-height video cards on the market. Works great with my HTPC setup.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: My build is kind of cramped, and I only have a few inches of clearance between my case in the media cabinet, so things can get a little little warm if I'm playing a more more demanding game like Farcy or Assassins Creed. I have an 80 MM Thermaltake external fan to help move air from the side vent of the case where the video card is located.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks for 2560x1440 DVI-D on Dell 27" monitor

Pros: This is one of the only low-profile cards that I could find that would work with my Dell 2713HM monitor. The monitor is capable of 2560x1440 via DVI-D or HDMI. I have this card running two Dell Monitors -- the 27" over DVI-D and a 20" @ 1600x1200 over DVI-to-displayport. Both monitors @ max resolution. Everything works great.

Cons: The mini-displayport-to-Displayport adapter is rigid and could snap off. Should have made that a cable instead.

5 out of 5 eggsGateway SX2840-01

Pros: I upgraded from a HD 4650 to this card in the PC mentioned in the title. There is a big difference in what this card can handle. I can actually play games at the maximum resolution (recommended resolution) of 1920x1080. I'm also using the max video settings for Skyrim, Far Cry 3, Prototype 2 with no noticeable lag.

Cons: For some reason, when I upgraded to this card, I had to go into the bios and allow pci-e to send wake requests under the power management settings. Otherwise the monitor would not wake from sleep mode.

Other Thoughts: For those that care the PC I installed this in has a 220w power supply and I have no issues. I even overclocked it a bit without issue.

Under Windows 8 Windows Experience Index this card rates 7.3/7.3 and overclocked to 900mhz/1250mhz it rates at 7.4/7.4

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome low profile card

Pros: This card is the one to choose if you need decent graphics performance in a low-profile, low power case. It is quiet, draws little power, and has pretty good graphics performance. It can drive 3 monitors and has a good choice of ports (more reasonably implemented than other low profile cards.)

Cons: The MDP to DP adapter should be a cable instead of a block. It looks like it could snap the port off the card if you are not careful. I use a MDP to DP cable, which is cleaner as well.

Other Thoughts: I chose this card after extensively searching for a LP card with good performance. The 28nm fabrication really helps it with being cool and quiet. I am currently driving a 2560x1440 monitor directly using the mini-displayport.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little card!

Pros: Fast and fits in my case with lots of room to spare! I love the switchable plate that makes it more versatile to fit in even smaller cases!

Cons: it doesn't make sandwiches

Other Thoughts: I have this in my APEVIA X-QPACK2 case and there is plenty of room to spare! As with all my past sapphire cards, ALWAYS use the newest drivers from Sapphire's website, NOT AMD's! I never use the disc that comes with it either.

2 out of 5 eggs2nd Review

Pros: Was amazing when it was working.

Cons: Black screen when starting up, Fan spins at full speed. Put in my Radeon 6570 and PC boots up no problem.

Other Thoughts: I've never had to get anything replaced before.. Just need info on how to send the card back for a replacement.

It really sucks.. I loved this card until it stopped working. I'm quite sad. :(

5 out of 5 eggsBest bang for the buck!

Pros: I am pleased to share that this card works painlessly in an HP Slimline s3400f that came with a 165w psu! I bought this to improve on a low-power upgrade plan from the original specs. Over time (since 2008), this tiny system has gone from 2.7Ghz cpu - hard drive - onboard graphics to 2.9Ghz (nothing great i know) - ssd - 7750 discrete graphics. The cpu is the bottleneck now as far as performance goes, but for what this system is used for, this HD7750 has given it an acceptable outcome (for someone who's used to working with video editing machines). The HD7750 has made the noise level far more tolerable as the system sits upright on my desk (less than 2 feet from my head, it's a tight space), and under the same usage scenario is as quiet as larger case fans (120mm and up) whereas the HD4650 it replaced got obnoxious after running for about 10 minutes.

Cons: The only complaint I have, which I can't really do anything about, is that the DAY AFTER I purchased this, and confirmations had been made and all, the price was lowered by $5... *sigh*

Other Thoughts: - Yes, it works with the skimpiest of psu's. It doesn't get much lower then 165w.
- W.E.I: HD4650 1GB 5.0 (graphics) and 6.4 (gaming graphics); HD7750 1GB 7.4 (graphics AND gaming graphics).
- Yes, it is peacefully quiet, even when sitting less than 2 ft from the system.
- No, it does not cook you breakfast - doesn't get warm enough to do so (the s3400f has decent passive cooling in the side of the case).

Overall, Yes, I am a satisfied customer. I'm happy enough with the performance of the HD7750 to let the price drop pass.

5 out of 5 eggsOne Terrific Card

Pros: I am running 2560x1440 on my 27" ACD using 8 Pro with Media Center. Using stock certified MS drivers. The monitor is connected using the Mini DisplayPort, no adapters required. My old video card WEI was 5.9 Graphics & 6.3 Gaming. This Sapphire HD 7750 boosted both scores to 7.3. I'm not a gamer but for my applications, this is one terrific video card!

Cons: If you need to change the mounting bracket it is best to have a 4mm deep socket.
