1 out of 5 eggsRan good while they lasted.

Pros: .

Cons: I bought 2 of these 3 years ago. One of them died today. I never overclocked them and treated them rather well. The fan near the front end died on both models around the same time as well, which is really sketch.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed just out of warranty period

Pros: worked fine, when it worked

Cons: Card was used on only one graphics intensive game (Borderlands 2), for a month after purchased new, and the rest of the cards life was spent on low graphics demand windows applications. It was never overclocked. It should have lasted longer than 3 years. It makes me highly suspect that the manufacturer puts some programming in some chip on the card that makes the thing fail just a bit after the 3 year warranty period. Of course it can't be proved, but why wouldn't they? They have all to gain, nothing to lose.

Other Thoughts: Sapphire customer service sucks so far. They've asked the same question twice, and seem to be just trying to wear me down so I give up on trying to get the card repaired.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card but hdmi fails to work

Pros: Great card, can run almost any game I throw at it at max specs.

Cons: Can handle most games but it makes JC2 ctd every time after a few minutes of playing it. I've confirmed this with multiple fresh installs of the game and even re-inserting my older radeon hd 5850 which can play it without it crashing to desktop.

HDMI does not work at all with it leading to a single monitor/display device. It worked fine with my monitor/tv setup when I had them both hooked up but the very next day I turn the system on, it craps out on me; no more dual monitor using hdmi. Furthermore, it only outputs from the dvi output.

Other Thoughts: Pretty solid performance & stability, still confused on why it crapped out the next day like that with HDMI. Other than that, it still crashes Just Cause 2... and this is after fresh installs of the game. Even resorted to fresh installs of the OS on 6 seperate occasions hoping that it would just maybe help to fix the issue but no luck.

4 out of 5 eggsgood hashers, junky fans

Pros: I have 2 of these in an asus m5a97 r2.0 with an 8350. They have been mining btc and ltc (the past month) since march. The temps run between 80-90 under full load and I had to change the power control to give them an extra 10% so they wouldn't throttle.

Cons: Replacing the fan requires sending the card back to the manufacturer, so I opted to replace the hsf with the arctic cooling tt (this required a shim b/c the older 7950 and 7950 models had a recessed die).

3 out of 5 eggsGood while it lasted

Pros: Really good card. It was quiet, kept temps low. Was able to run high on the games I play, BF3 Borderlands 2 and Civ 5, TL2.....

Cons: Started to fail on 10/24. Purchased on 02/14. Was crashing and freezing on stock settings while not even playing games. Hopefully Sapphire comes thru on RMA.

Other Thoughts: Seems to be an issue with the 7950's

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: This card takes any game you throw at it and doesn't blink

Cons: None as of yet.

Other Thoughts: This is the third review I've written today involving perfectly well working computer parts but poor customer service when it comes to rebates. Three different companies all saying my rebate is sent and months later nothing. All three get 3 eggs as a rating.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Can be over-clocked
can hook up 4 monitors

Cons: Fans are no good. went out in first month.

Other Thoughts: New Egg wasn't any help called them since I bought there worthless warranty which does nothing until the 2 year manufacturer warranty was up. worthless in 2 years I'll probably upgrade anyway

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing overclocker

Pros: Great overclocker, got GPU up to 1225 MHz with stock cooling rock solid stable.
Fans are quiet and can barely be heard at full speed.
Dual BIOS switch in case you brick card with bad flash.
Runs BF3 above 1080p resolution on ultra with 2x AA just fine, fps never drops below 50s.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Don't listen to the nvidiots that just got a computer last month and bash amd/ati. They have no clue what they are talking about. Radeon cards are much better now since AMD bought out ATI.
