1 out of 5 eggsCheap Fans

Pros: Worked fine for five months

Cons: Fans gave out after only 6 months of normal use. Have built systems for 20 years but sapphire still wouldn't send fan replacement. Said it had to be shipped in for repair, 4 to 6 weeks. Screw that. I had to buy and replace them myself. No more sapphire for me. Now that asic scrypt miners are out, they're not riding so high.

5 out of 5 eggsStill running like a champ

Pros: >Blazing fast rendering ability
>Plays any and all games on Maximum settings
>Easily Overclockable

Cons: Makes my friends envious and covetous. Those are deadly sins.

Other Thoughts: I bought this back in 9/13 to replace two 7870s in Crossfire and rebuild my rig from AMD to WinTel. No more ripping/tearing, and I can wear pants in my room and not pass out from the heat generated by my gaming rig. No problems at all with this card.

5 out of 5 eggsstill good

Pros: Bought back in 03-2013 and it is still running great. I have it connected to three 1920x1080 monitors and run almost every game at 5760x1080. There isn't a single game I cannot max out on one monitor (max AA), and very few I can't across all three (I don't run AA, it's a waste of frames). 1175 mhz core / 1575 mhz memory stable! 62 C @ full load. Almost 20% increase from stock speeds, nice overclocking. It also came with two good games.

Cons: Nothing so far.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Happy

Pros: I've had nothing but good things to say. Sapphire makes great products. Looking to buy another Tahiti card for Crossfire.

Cons: Runs a little hot, but that's expected with the 7970.

5 out of 5 eggsGood clocker

Pros: Great cooler, fast GPU. This cards a good clocker, voltage are unlocked and cooler is enough to keep temps low at all time. BF4 runs well at Ultra settings on 1080p monitors.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've paid $309 for this card 4 months ago and would gladly pay the same price for it today.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed after one month

Pros: Fantastic card, until output failed.

Cons: Most run-around I've had on an RMA yet. :(

Other Thoughts: I don't usually write grumpy reviews, but I bought this card alongside a power supply to make sure everything would run smoothly. All-in, it came up just shy of 500 dollars. A week after my first month of ownership, the card fails (PSU is great though, thanks!) and I spend an afternoon trying to get through to Newegg to see if there was anything that could be done. After 4 failed attempts at calling (for some reason, it hangs up on me after about 15 minutes waiting), I waited two hours in a livechat queue and got told to go to the manufacturer, since I was a few days over my month.

After five 'No, that's the wrong office, call this number' transfers, I got through to Sapphire, who referred me back to Newegg because of how recently I purchased the card.

And the phone just hung up again. So sad right now. >.<

3 out of 5 eggsCould be a great card, but I think I got a bad one out of the batch

Pros: Graphics are superb, I enjoy playing my games at the highest settings. No complaints other than the con listed below.

Cons: While playing games, the screen sorta 'glitches out' like a scramble. I first noticed this a few weeks into using the card. This only occurs for a few milliseconds, and only over about 25% of the screen in lines, it fluctuates though. Sometimes the glitches appear white, or multi color like an old tv out of picture. This typically occurs every 10-20min. At first it was barely noticeable or annoying, but now I can not stand it and would like to trade this in for the same GPU, or an upgraded one. I have attempted to re-seat the card, and used a different slot on my board. It's a brand new computer system I built so I know nothing is too old. Also, all of my drivers are updated as well. Not sure at this point what else could be the problem other than a fault somewhere in the hardware of the unit.

Other Thoughts: All in all I am pleased with the GPU, but to deserve 5 stars I expect a GPU that is not faulty. This could be a cause of anything but I know that I expect better quality for my money spent, as would anyone.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked then became defective. Can't refund.

Pros: Worked for a couple months.
rating two stars because it worked well for a while.

Cons: After about three months, I began noticing glitches

Screen ripping
flashing colors in the rips
Defective
Wasted $300

Other Thoughts: I bought the one year coverage in case it was defective, or becomes defective. After about three months I go to refund it and it says that I am ineligible for a refund and I can't even get a replacement. It's just ridiculous...

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Card is amazing, can max most if not every game out at 1080p.

Cons: Drivers used to be kinda iffy, pretty good now.
