4 out of 5 eggsGreat Performance/Price Ratio

Pros: Great Performance, Runs BF3 On High Settings 1600x900 @ 35 FPS, Played Crysis 3 Good Performance too. Best Price/Performance card i ever had.

Cons: Freakin Loud Card ...minus one egg for that, sometimes in the night that freakin noise wakes me up.

Other Thoughts: if the noise isnt bother to you, and you are looking for the best price/performance ratio this is definitely the card you might want to buy.

1 out of 5 eggstarable

Pros: none

Cons: had 2 they both broke after 30 mins

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry that you have had problems with your graphics card.

It sounds as though another component in your system may be causing issues. If your power supply is not rated to the proper spec then it may cause 2 cards to fail.

We do hope that your return with Newegg went smoothly

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Looks new! No problems during the installation and the graphics are awesome. More than capable of Battlefield 3, MOH Warfighter, or even Assassins Creed 3. It is able to do anything I try to put it through with no problems at all. Great video card.

Cons: Not an Nvidia, which means no Physx, but ATI definitely has more bang for the buck right now. This card is more powerful than any Nvidia card you will get for this price. So really there is nothing bad to be said! Great buy!

5 out of 5 eggsRT@#%M!!

Pros: Forty minutes from box opened to drivers downloaded and installed to operational. No problems. As the title to this review suggests, I did my homework beforehand.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: And as always, Newegg You Rock!!!

4 out of 5 eggsso far so good

Pros: working good after updating the drivers, no problems yet. best performance to price ratio card i could find, as long as you get one that works.

Cons: 2nd card, took off an egg because i had to RMA it for a working one. thought i might have to from reading the reviews so i really shouldn't take off an egg, but the annoyance of walking to my post office threw a snow storm to pay to return this was too annoying.

Other Thoughts: the fan on the card i had to RMA seemed to blow more air than the card i have now, but this one is much quieter. i was expecting a 50/50 chance of getting an awesome card or a broken one from all the reviews i read, if you don't mind waiting or dealing with RMA's this is the best price for performance card i could find on the internet. also as a side note i got this with 3 day shipping cause it was free but i took longer because i wasn't home to sign for the package when they delivered it, and another package from newegg that i ordered the same day shipped standard was left at my door, which is much more convenient than sitting at home waiting for the delivery man. not a criticism just a comment. some people prefer the extra security of signing for packages, not me.

5 out of 5 eggsvery pleased

Pros: The performance is fantastic. And the refurbished price makes this a super deal.

Cons: Its a pretty big card. I've got full size tower case, so its not a problem for me.

Other Thoughts: After a lot of reading and price watching, this card offered the most for the money. If you are fortunate enough to be able to get one before they run out, you can't lose on this one. I've bought many refurbished and open box deals from newegg and have never had to RMA one for not working.

5 out of 5 eggsso much bang, so little buck.

Pros: -I can guarantee that it will max out anything on the Source engine

-anything else will most likely be 1080p @med/high settings

-$150 card for $110

-Better than a 650 for the same price!

-i gained an extra 5-10fps from overclocking, any free fps is good fps.

Cons: -It doesn't like going over 77°C.

-It caught my eye, but so did the word refurbished.

-because it's refurbished it didn't come with a fancy box, just a little brown one.

Other Thoughts: This card is way better than the same priced 650 and is great for 1080p gaming. Crossfire is hugely beneficial, and since you can get these at a lower price the price to performance ratio is insane!

1 out of 5 eggsTwo bad cards in a row

Pros: It didn't hurt anything.

Cons: I have received two faulty cards in a row. The first would get to the windows login screen before I would get artifacts and eventually freezing. The second was running, with full load, at over 115 degrees Celsius and could barely function. I'm sick of waiting for broken cards.
The real kicker is that I have to pay to return this second card so that I can get a third one. I don't like paying to test broken cards out in my machine. Hire someone to do quality control for these things. It has been three days shy of a month since I started this odyssey and I am tired of it. I don't want to pay to return this one and I sure don't want another one. Just give me a refund!!!!

Other Thoughts: The cards are of horrible quality and because they are refurbished you can't get a refund, just more of the same. I'm just going to have to keep paying fedex to get rid of these things until I get lucky enough to find one that actually works. Do yourself a favor and leave this page immediately.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: My Setup:
AsRock 970 Extreme 4 AM3+ Mobo
AMD Zambezi 3.6Ghz 8-Core Processor
G. Skill Ripjaws 16Gb (2x8gb) DDR3
Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 1GB
Sandisk 64GB SSD Boot Drive
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB Storage Drive
ASUS PCE-N15 Wireless Adapter
Hewlett Packard DVD-R/W
Rosewill Stallion RD700
Rosewill Challenger U-3 Tower
Windows 7 64 HP

Received this card 5 days ago, even after reading the random black screen issues.

It DID black screen for me, 5 times in a single night, BUT not a single time after completely updating Win7 and Catalyst Control Center. I've run this card through various video card stress tests, and its passed with absolutely flying colors.

Runs fantastic, very quiet.

Great in a new build from scratch, going to be buying more to run in crossfire, and also another for gfs computer (couples that play together, stay together lol)

Stupidly easy setup and installation.

I'm not sure if I can really say anything else to get the point across that even though this is a refurb, it is a solid and amazing card that I would recommend to anybody shopping for a card around $100, or a crossfire setup under $250.

Cons: No Crossfire Bridge Included.
That's the worst thing I can say about it, honestly.
Not enough for it to lose an egg.

Other Thoughts: I'm definately getting at least 2 more of these (1 for me, 1 for Gf) along with a Crossfire Bridge, and perhaps another one of these, as one of my friend's birthdays is coming up and he's been hinting at needed a new video card since the last one I got him isn't keeping up well with the games we've been playing.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Just Try to find a 6850 for less .. Mine works perfectly . Powerful card , Dx11. comes with driver disk and a power supply cord . Runs a heavily modded SH5 all max settings like butter .And it made the ocean look just amazing . World of tanks -all max settings at 30 - 40 fps .Best bang for buck in a pci ex 2.0 config i could find anywhere .. Umm , Much quieter than the 4850 it replaced , In fact i cannot hear it at all .. SH5 became slideshow at times on max settings before this card . Now Its "Butta".. It was delivered a day early also and that with ordering on sunday night and Monday was a holiday .. Installed on teusday and writing this wed .. I really couldnt complain if someone paid me to ..
5 eggs for getting exactly what was advertised and it working as intended .. For half the cost of anything in the same ballpark performance wise that will plug into my machine..
The Egg has Yet to fail me ..

Cons: No literature whatsoever . You know this already .. Windows asks to install drivers on startup , But drivers are installed .... AND working so whats that about ? .. .
I wish i had gotten a refurb 6870 before they sold them all but i hesitated .

Other Thoughts: This is an Upgrade from a single 4850 ..This begins the Final video upgrade for my Phenom system , I plan on getting another and Crossfiring them when i get the spare cash ..Will need new power supply also for that .. But really .. I cannot see the reason in doing it other than i put out the cash for a crossfore ready MoBo and just want to use it,I doubt i will find the limits of this card this year anyway .
This card has two 6 pin power inputs ,I was unsure if i should use them both , Thought i might be going to smoke the system .. I used them both.No problems .
Get drivers from AMD website ..
I am super pleased with this purchase so far .. It might smoke in a few days ,I doubt it but ,,.. If it does i will update this .
On a final note i am glad i didnt let the bad reviews deter me from this purchase .. I followed the manufacturers suggestions to others who were having issues on this review forum ( other than using beta drivers and that might be why windows wants to overwrite them .I used the latest driver release bundle , CCC, Drivers .Works perfectly .
