5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet and works perfectly for my purposes

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I'm not a game, my computer is mostly used for content creation, so I don't have fps data, I bought this card because of the 4 gb of ram which is helpful in holding polygons prior to rendering an image. I know many will say I should have gone with a professional card but in all reality the software I use is all GL based and this card works great, way faster than my old card and has better driver support as well. From installation to function not a single hiccup. I'm sure it would work well for gaming at 1920 x 1080 without a problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: Stable, 4GB DDR5, Price.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to build a PC to play Battlefield 4. This card is amazing. Graphics are better than Xbox 360 and frame rate is reliably fast. I highly recommended this card to any Gamer on a budget.

System Build:
GIGABYTE GA-Z97-HD3 Mother Board
8GB Team Xtreme (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) RAM
Intel Core i5-4590 Haswell Quad-Core 3.3GHz

1 out of 5 eggsFail

Pros: Powerful GPU and 4GB GDDR5 with 256-bit bus.

Cons: Poor instructions and lack of tech support.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to upgrade my Dell i7 desktop. The factory seal was peeled back when I received the card, which indicated to me it was a returned item. Prior to installing the card I was running an nvidia OEM card, which I installed and then shut down the system. When I installed the Radeon in my system and turned the machine on, it failed to post. I spent an entire afternoon troubleshooting the card trying to get it to work, to no avail. My system P/S is huge and I had both 6-pin connectors attached to the card, so power was not the problem. After several hours of utter frustration, I came to the conclusion the card was defective and was previously returned by someone else. This is not the first negative experience I've had with ATI/AMD graphics cards, so I doubt I will ever buy anything from them again. I replaced the card with a new ASUS GTX750TI-OC-2GD5 with the nVidia processor. As expected with nVidia products, the installation and start up went flawlessly. Although the card does not measure up to the performance & specs of the Radeon R9 270X, it is very impressive and reliable, which sure beats the suffering I endured with the Radeon product.

5 out of 5 eggsDon't forget your games!

Pros: This thing is amazing

Cons: I forgot to add the 3 free games to my order as combo and now I'm out of luck. I can't find anywhere to retroactively add them and have it know I've ordered this card. Darn.

Other Thoughts: Guess I'll just have to play my other games.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card with a few problems

Pros: -Gets great performance in games. Haven't had a single thing this card couldn't run maxed out at 60 fps , though the most GPU-taxing game I've played is Sniper Elite 3

-Comes with 3 games? Heck yeah! Some people were having issues getting the games, but you have to type the dashes that are in the code.

-A pretty small card that stays reasonably cool. As I type this, using a single 1366 x 768 monitor, it's running 101°F (36°C) and it's never been noticeably hot while running a demanding game.

Cons: -As has been said many times, there is sometimes screen flicker while browsing and watching movies (I've even had it happen 2 or 3 times to me in a game). Basically the screen jumps about 70 pixels up or down, then goes back, and that's it.

-I'm not sure how long most drivers take to set up, but this thing took the better part of 6 hours.

Other Thoughts: This thing is a fantastic card when you look past the screen flicker. I hope Sapphire and the rest of the manufacturers fix the problem soon.

CPU: AMD FX-6300
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 1866 8GB
GPU: Sapphire R9 270x 4GB

4 out of 5 eggsI love it!!!

Pros: + Small physical size meaning it can fit in nearly all Atx-Mid cases
+Powerful graphics capabilities allowing good performance in many games
+Cheap compared to other 4GB graphics card models
+Build in fans (I do plan on going water cooling soon though)
+Easy Installation
+Crossfire Ready
+Eyefinity Tech (Multiple display) That one really excites me

Cons: - Not Mantle ready (it sucks I'm hoping there may be an update online but I haven't checked yet)
Other than that I haven't had enough time with it to say otherwise

Other Thoughts: I got the Sapphire 270X 4GB for my first gaming computer; I wanted something not to expensive, but had power behind it to run newer games at higher graphic settings. I purchased Assassin's Creed Unity and I was able to play it on ultra 1080p at 28 fps. I was pretty happy about that, I turned down the settings to Ultra with a few of the more intensive settings on High. After that adjustment it worked just fine. Sadly I believe that Assassin's Creed Unity isn't optimized properly for PC so it is a power hog.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: By far the best card I have owned. I upgraded from a HD6850 2GB to this beast and it is night and day. I'm currently running Farcry 4 on all high settings at 2560x1440. I also multibox WoW and it runs 5 clients without issue.

Cons: None so far, it has handled everything that has been thrown at it.

4 out of 5 eggsStrong performances

Pros: Very strong performances, it's a beast even you aren't using it in crossfire. If you are a gamer, this is the card, no complaints on this side.

Cons: Power consumption and heat is high, you can't use it in a small form factor box, I found it a bit expensive vs the performance it delivers vs power it drains. But this is a good graphic card anyways.

1 out of 5 eggsWrong Spec, Flicks And Very Low Performance!!!

Pros: Low Heat and Low noise.

Cons: Like the others mentioned, Wrong Spec!
Mine, not just wrong spec and it does flick. The card can't even handle YouTube HD 720P video!!!! It plays like a 10 dollar card to me. My old Asus Radeon Eah2900 performs a lot better.

My System Spec:

Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.3GHz
ASUS X99-A LGA 2011-v3
G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM
Silver Stone 850watt

Other Thoughts: There is no way that my other hardware bottlenecks the video card, it is definitely a defective video card!

What is the problem here, AMD doing bad or Saphire? Maybe we should get a nvida card.
