1 out of 5 eggsRMA card

Pros: When it is operating it is super fast fps of 70+ on most mmo's

Cons: Card seems defective, repeated driver crash, non responsive, including freeze and blue screen

Other Thoughts: RMA'd the card hoping I was just the one unlucky customer so far, and hoping to get a good one.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat GPU, flimsy design

Pros: This is a solid GPU for a gamer on a budget, really happy with its performance. For 1080p gaming, you really get a bang for your buck.

Cons: Really flimsy design. Just not much of a housing and what is there seems like it's barely clinging to the board. More of a gripe than a real detractor.

2 out of 5 eggsGood card, while it worked

Pros: *Excellent amount of VRAM for plenty of texture memory for the most demanding games like Battlefield 4.
*Runs modern games in 1920x1080 with 30-60 FPS

Cons: After owning for 2 months, it appears the memory is starting to fail. Started out getting random video crashes a couple of weeks ago about once a day, and is now crashing constantly (grey screen with vertical lines, aka GSOD). Waiting to hear back from Sapphire tech support for an RMA.

Other Thoughts: I really liked this card until it started having issues. It was a good upgrade over my previous Crossfire 5770 setup. When I upgraded to a new monitor with 1920x1080 resolution, the 5770 CF setup was nearing its limitations on modern games like Battlefield 4. This R9 270X has plenty of memory for textures to run games in Ultra mode, and the framerates are pretty good at 1920x1080, considering the price of this card. However, the card has started acting up and I'm going to have to RMA it. My last two graphics cards were Sapphire brand, which I had good luck with in the past. I'm a bit worried about quality issues with Sapphire now that this card started having problems after only two months. I will have to see how the RMA process goes and see how well the replacement card works before I can give this card a higher rating.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Quiet, runs cool, can handle a lot

Cons: None yet!

Other Thoughts: This card is awesome and you can't beat the value you're getting at this price. I've been wanting to update my video card for awhile but couldn't decide if I should just crossfire or get a whole new card. Once I saw this card for this price I was sold! My old card wouldn't have come close to this one even crossfired.
I've tested this with Skyrim, Sniper Elite 3, Metro LL, BioShock Infinite...all on ultra....all run super smooth. In fact, I haven't even heard this fans really kick in. My old Radeon would have been screaming.

My build...
MB MSI 990FXA-GD65V2 AM3+
AMD FX 8320 8X Vishera
Cooler Master Hyper 212+
8GB DDR3 2133
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
NZXT Phantom 410 ATX Mid in black steel

5 out of 5 eggsfantastic card for money

Pros: This card is fantastic fir the money you pay. I get around 40-70 fps while on battlefield hardline on ultra settings. My processor is an fx-8320 8 core. 8gb of ram. Honestly, i dont think it can get better than this in this price range. It runs cool, quiet and is actually quite small. The 4gb of vram is very useful especially if you are running it with mantle.

Cons: Nothing really. If I could say anything bad about this card is that the Sapphire logo doesn't have any LEDs or anything too fancy.

5 out of 5 eggsUltra all the way.

Pros: I got two free games out of it.
Dirt 3 on highest settings at around 60-90 fps.
Then I decided to play G-Mod at 200 fps.
So you can assume it will do around the same in all the half-life games and TF2.
It fit perfectly in my case.
It takes everything I have to throw at it which isn't much.
And it stays cool even in my oven of a case.

Cons: I haven't found any yet but it's only been 15 hours.

Other Thoughts: I don't think I would need two of these in crossfire but I think it would be a better deal than some other cards out there.

5 out of 5 eggsBudget Rocket!

Pros: Price, 4Gigs DDR, Good Heat Sink, CrossFire's Like a Champ! No overcLock needed yet and summer's coming, so staying cooL takes precedent. aLL games i pLay run maxed, doesn't even ramp up the fans. Love 'em!! Buy 2!!

Cons: No fanCy heatsink or LED's. NO free games. Doesn't seem to work as weLL as etchings getting dates up to my apartment. As usuaL, drivers & software meant to expLoit AMD cards & their strengths is behind the curve or for speciaLized use.

Other Thoughts: WouLd i rather have a 290X, sure!! But 2400+shaders & 8 Gigs of FoV ram for under $450, i'm Happy as a pig in , um, a poke!
