1 out of 5 eggsFool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice...

Pros: The second card worked just long enough for the return window to Newegg to pass

Cons: Twice now these cards have developed video artifacts when processing 3d video, primarily video games. I would ask for my money back if I thought it would be a fruitful use of my time. Instead I get to RMA the card I have, including paying for the privilege of shipping the non-functional card to them, and then hoping that I get luckier on the "will this one stop working too soon" roll-of-the-dice that purchasinging one of Sapphire's video cards entails.

I probably would be better off just buying a new video card, one from a different manufacturer.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Came with free games, had an instant rebate, looks cool.

Cons: Absolutely no video whatsoever. I Installed the card, booted up the computer to install the drivers but got no video. I heard the Windows 7 start-up music so I know the computer booted just fine. I thought maybe I had to install the drivers first, but since I had no video out on my motherboard, I had to re-install my old video card to get video to install the drivers. After installing the drivers and re-installing my new card, still no video.
Sapphire's customer service was useless. Impossible at the very least, cumbersome at best. RMA'd for a replacement because I want to give this card another chance. All the good reviews it got can't be a fluke. Bad batch maybe?

Other Thoughts: First time in 8 years that I've had to RMA any product from Newegg. I must say the process was painless and smooth. Thanks Newegg!

2 out of 5 eggsIt did not work

Pros: -Fast Shipping
-Good price
-If it worked, it would be a good product

Cons: -It didn't work; upon installation into the computer, the fans turned on but the screen did not display anything, when I put the drivers disc in, still nothing happened, the card's output ports simple seemed to be malfunctioning.
-Upon arrival, one of the fans seemed to be getting caught on something, this was easily fixed, as it was only a piece of the plastic frame that was slightly out of place, but it should of not been there in the first place.

Other Thoughts: I would like a replacement or a full refund for the product, it did not work at all.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat mid budget card

Pros: works great, great mid level gpu. runs a lot of games on high settings.
The card has a plain look that can fit into any build but might be a con for some who want to show it off.

Cons: Has some what of a loud fan. but it ok. no water cooling for this card yet except for universal blocks. Not really important though for most users. make sure you have good cooling for this card as i had to get a better computer case to keep the temps down.

Other Thoughts: was going to buy a amd r7 260x but i thought this one made more sense to get just had to pay more.

5 out of 5 eggslove this card

Pros: upgraded from a 7750 to the 270x. I pondered over what card to get for months. finally pulled the trigger on the saphire r9 270x 2gb. got it for iracing. went from 40 fps on low to triple 24" running max settings at 150 fps. very strong. glad I got the 270x instead of the 270 for just a little bit more.

card fit great and using with a 550w psu with no problems.
no cons so far. for the price and performance I am very happy.

Cons: none yet. I hope it lasts is all.

1 out of 5 eggsThis card is complete garbage

Pros: None.

Cons: So I purchased this on Aug 1 and had been using it for about 2 months before it decided to completely carp out on me, Even prior to this it was having issues staying open on games that should easily have been running on ultra, it would crash on low. often, and i just assumed that it was the games, until two days ago and it just completely decided to quit on me, I have done all the necessary work to ensure that the software installed was correct and the drivers were up to date but instead the card just would go into a multi-phase crash and it was just done. Tried it in another PC and same issue, contacting Sapphire about replacement AND refund because of how much of a scam this card is or appears to be.

I will not change this review, regardless of the outcome

Other Thoughts: dont buy this, not even at this price, its just not worth the risk

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, Annoying Driver

Pros: Great card. Very easy to overclock using MSI afterburner. Runs pretty much every game i have at max settings without even overclocking it even more(up to 1150Mhz Stable).

Cons: Not really any besides some issues with certain games causing a BSOD unless I underclock the card, yes, underclock. Has something to do with an ati driver that i have yet to fix. An annoyance at most, but potentially deadly to a computer.

Other Thoughts: Great price for a great card that rivals some of the more expensive Nvidia cards

2 out of 5 eggsBurned out after five months

Pros: I'm a heavy gamer. This card was able to run everything I threw at it flawlessly, and with little heat...

Cons: ...unfortunately, it burned out after a mere five months of use, to the point where it kept my PC from even posting to BIOS. (It failed on system power-on checks - I'm afraid that's a level beyond my knowledge, I had to take it to a specialty shop to get the problem diagnosed. Replaced the card, and my system ran fine again.)

Other Thoughts: A great card at a decent price. I was very happy with it - I wish I knew why it died so young.
