2 out of 5 eggsSapphire Cards

Pros: Can run most games on medium-high settings, but not without stuttering sometimes none-the-less

Cons: Overheats way too easy
Frame stutters often, even with games on low settings
Overpriced for the problems
Struggles to run Unity games
Causes lines and boxes on the screen at times

Other Thoughts: Would'nt buy a Sapphire card. They die quickly, they overheat, they are expensive. If anything buy an XFX card because they have a lifetime warranty.

Manufacturer Response:

We are very sorry that you have had problems with your graphics card.

Our Technical Support will be hapy to assist you through our ticketing system.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing GPU!

Pros: - Looks amazing and comes with a crossfire bridge.
- Runs amazingly smooth at 1080p, 1440p is decent aswell.
- Really silent and has 2 fans! Unbelievable!
- Amazing performance for the price.
- Runs GTA V, Rust, Battlefield, and much more just perfect.

Cons: - Only 2GB of Vram but thats not a problem since I only play 1080p most the time.

Other Thoughts: If you are thinking of buying this or either a GeForce GTX 750Ti, just buy this, it runs way better than the 750TI! You won't regret it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card - Cheap

Pros: The card is fast, low power and quiet... and cheap. I mean to get a card at this performance level for this price... Are you kidding? It installed perfectly, not that it wouldn't, but it simply just fit perfectly. I'm using this PC now and I can't hear it. Very nice.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have this in a Shuttle computer paired with a i7-3770k. I'm super happy.

2 out of 5 eggsSlickity slick rebate practices

Pros: The R9 270X is a good card for the money. It's truly the "sweet spot" in my opinion as you can solid 1080p gaming for under $180 dollars.

Cons: The reason for the two eggs is because of the rebate experience with Sapphire. This is due to their slick rebate practices. Earlier in the year (about 3 months ago) I purchased a Sapphire HD 6970 and sent in the rebate. Then I purchased this card and sent in the rebate and low and behold, this rebate gets declined! This is a different card! This shouldn't be the case but they just simply keep extending the range without changing the start date blanketing most of their products throughout the year. I've submitted several rebates for other companies like ASUS, XFX and NEVER had this problem. Sapphire, if you expect me to choose you in the future, you MUST make a change with your rebate policies!

5 out of 5 eggsLow budget

Pros: Bought in place of a 290x for a new (first complete build) rig, since other components ran the budget high. Had planned on swapping out for, or setting up crossfire with, a more expensive piece, but this card has not disappointed after 6 months of being left on nearly 24/7, as well as regular use (~45-50 hours a week). Installs easily. Runs quiet, cool (~60-65C during 30 min stress test), excellent graphics, and high FPS for the cost. Most games can run at high or highest settings i.e. AC4, Skyrim, and Fallout: New Vegas, the latter two heavily modded, will run at highest settings at monitor rate (60Hz).

Cons: Did not come with a cd so had to search online for drivers (not that that matters; rig does not have cd drive). Does not record video at the above specs, not that this card was meant to. Really, not much in the way of cons, but I can't leave the cons section blank...

Other Thoughts: Might be able to stream. Don't know; I don't live stream.
