4 out of 5 eggsGreat Graphics... BUT

Pros: I bought 2 of these to run in crossfire config in my desktop gaming, office comp. They run great , i have them overclocked and they are running nicely in my games ,World of Warcraft ,World of Warplanes, and Crossfire( don`t play this alot anymore too many hackers in that game these days),at night i turn my desk top comp into a crypto currency mining rig and i hash about 230 KHs on each with a combined total of 460 KHs and they run full bore overnight without a glitch , for they price you cant do any better.

Cons: Now the bad part, after about a week of running the fan on one card would not run above 2100 rpm even when i had the fan speed set manualy in Cat Control Center, card started overheating,so i took it all apart removed the fan blew out the dust and gave it a little WD40 reinstalled it and it runs just fine now, then a few days latter the other card did the same thing so again take it apart and lubricate and now it to is running just fine. It appears these fan got no lubrication at the factory not sure but thats what it appears to be.

5 out of 5 eggsSapphire Card

Pros: Nice cooling management for card at this price. Still messing around with all the features and adjustments, but the card so far has upped the Win7 performance rating, which is a good thing. 256 bit memory on a video card is a nice thing to aim for rather than 128, or a 64 bit, and this card has the greater of the three (256).

Cons: You have to open the case to install it! Just kidding. It is an easy install, but just remmember to un-install your old card drivers prior to installing the new card. Some new techs seem to forget that part.

Other Thoughts: Well worth the price, and NewEgg had it at my front door step 10 seconds after ordering it.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful card with a great price

Pros: Windows Experience Index for me is 7.7 (max is 7.9) on Windows 7 64bit. Very good improvement in terms of video editing and rendering. I don't play games so I couldn't comment on that part.

Cons: Not really a con, but in order to make this card work for triple monitor setup, you have to use DVI-DVI-Displayport. You cannot use DVI-DVI-HDMI combination because one of the DVI port is shared with the HDMI port. I had to buy an Active Displayport to DVI adapter in order for me to use triple monitor. Those adapters aren't cheap you know. They cost around $25.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect PCI Express 2.0 CrossFireX

Pros: Perfect card for CrossFire 2.0 and very inexpensive. The cards I got have been running fine for a few weeks now. I did some research and found out that while PCI express 3.0 cards are backwards compatible with 2.0, 3.0 no longer uses a CrossFire cable but rather relies on the bus instead. This is great, except I have a feeling that the 3.0 cards might not CrossFire in a 2.0 motherboard. I can even get 3 monitors in Linux (with the right DisplayPort adapter). Also, my cards came with 2 other video cards for free which I have put in older computers that did not have video cards. Those cards (I have only tested one) have been working great as well.

Cons: -The cards did not come with a CrossFire cable which is understandable since the cables themselves are about $10 and you only need one for two cards. However, I didn't see a package list (other than the image which I wasn't 100% sure had everything) explaining if it would come with one or not so I waited to get the cards then had to order and wait for the cable.
-I ordered 2 cards and they differed in DVI-connection color and one of them had a right angle power connection compared to the other which a straight one. If you are very particular about your cards matching, you could be put off by this. The cards function just fine and it didn't really matter to me. (It could be a plus if they gave you an option of which type to get or at least matched cards if you order more than one.)

Other Thoughts: If you want to run 3 monitors, be careful about which DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable you get. I think it needs to be "active" instead of passive. You can check the AMD website but some of the "certified" cables are no longer in production. I got a newer revision of one of the cables and it worked great. The adapter cable I use is Accell's B086B-006B-2 and was able to get 3 monitors working in both Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux.

1 out of 5 eggsjunk

Pros: Low cost.
Great after fails stop

Cons: This card would have driver crashes every time I would start my computer. I spent hours working through the registry and drivers trying to get the thing to work. After about 20 fails it would deactivate hardware acceleration and work.
I would try switching it to a 1000w psu instead of the 800w I have and it would still fail.

card just does not work

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry that you are having these problems with your card.

If your card does not operate correctly then we would recommend initiating an RMA with Newegg.

We hope that the RMA goes smoothly.

5 out of 5 eggsSapphire HD 6850

Pros: Great bang for the buck. I got this for 99 bucks plus a free EVGA 01G-P3-1302-RX GeForce 8400 GS card. I couldn't pass that up.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I also have the HD 4850 in another computer, same card in the 4000 series. It's been a good one.

5 out of 5 eggsExceeded my expectations

Pros: I bought this card to do some gaming and mining while afk. It has performed very well. I can run all my games at high settings at 1080p and I'm getting around 230 kH. The card also runs very cool under load, around 60c.

Cons: None so far!

5 out of 5 eggsBought for a cheap mining rig

Pros: - Cheap
- Decent performance

Cons: - A bit power hungry
- Older generation performance

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these refurb cards to build a Scrypt miner. They're working great for what they are, fan speeds 3k with 245 kHash each all day long. Great for the price!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card for the price

Pros: - Can play most current games with all graphics options turned all the way up at 1920x1080 and 60 fps. Most games are fine at higher frame rates too.
- Supports dual monitors with no problems.
- HDMI output is flexible and useful.

Cons: - Some of the most graphically intense games will tax it a bit and force you down to 30 fps and maybe have to pull back to "high" instead of "ultra" for some graphics options.
- Needs a decent power supply. (duh)

Other Thoughts: This is an excellent card for any system at the price. Hardcore gamers might not love it, but they already know what they want. If you're a casual gamer but you still prefer to play most games at their best, this is a great card for you. It's really a great card for non-gamers too as it has been really reliable and given me zero problems whatsoever.
